THE SHOW WILL GO ON?

David Harbour, aka Chief Hopper on "Stranger Things," let a big cat out of the bag Wednesday when he accidentally talked about season 3.

We got Harbour at LAX Wednesday night when he talked about raging hormones on the set. The kids are getting older, and that leads to teenage craziness, especially when they enter season 3.

Hmmm ... was David supposed to mention a third season when season 2 doesn't premiere until October 27? Watch his reaction ... he tries to backpedal, but without much success.

BTW ... he seems like an awesome dude.

Barb from 'Stranger Things' Comes Out as Bi Apologizes to LGBT Fans

Published | Updated

Shannon Purser -- who plays Barb on "Stranger Things" -- came out as bi this week, and apologized to fans who thought her show was misleading the LGBT community.

Shannon posted the news Tuesday night in response to online backlash over her show, "Riverdale" ... which fans accused of queerbaiting. If you're unfamiliar, that's when a show teases fans into thinking characters are gay to build an audience, but ultimately they turn out to be straight.

"Riverdale" was accused of doing that with it's characters Betty and Veronica ... pissing off a lot of Beronica worshipers. That's when Shannon got involved.

She posted an offensive tweet a fan sent her -- which Shannon felt harassed by -- and then announced ... she's bi.

IT WAS TOO SCARY FOR ME

"Stranger Things" star Finn Wolfhard paints a horrific picture when it comes to clowns.

The kid actor just finished wrapping the horror flick "It" -- an adaptation of Stephen King's novel -- and explained Thursday at LAX why he's just not about that clown life.

He's probably got a point.

STRANGE THINGS ARE COMING?

Josh McDermitt can neither confirm nor deny whether he'll be in season 2 of "Stranger Things" ... but does have a funny way of explaining his run-in with the kid stars.

We got the 'Walking Dead' actor Tuesday at LAX, where our camera guy grilled McDermitt about a pic he posted Monday with 3 of the boys from the Netflix show ... with hashtags like #CrossoverEpisode fueling rumors he'll star in the upcoming season.

Like Josh says ... he can't talk about that. But he's happy to deadpan his way through their meetup in Portland.

"Stranger Things" star Caleb McLaughlin had a funny thing happen on his way down to the subway ... an encounter with our TMZ photog, who was itchin' to know about Season 2.

Caleb was in NYC Friday and played it cool ... dropping a morsel but holding the big stuff close to the vest.

NOT A CHANCE
TMZ.com

Stephen King might be a master writer of horror, but he's not getting his grubby pen on the "Stranger Things" script ... so says the guy playing Chief Jim Hopper.

We got actor David Harbour out Saturday at the the Four Seasons Hotel in Bev Hills, where he addressed a rumor about King penning Season 2's script head on.

Sounds like Steve might have missed the boat.
