THE FORCE IS GARBAGE
TMZsports.com

Talk about living up to your nickname ...

UFC superstar Ryan "Darth" Bader (get it?) says he'd kick the living snot out of a Jedi in a street fight ... and he's even got a strategy to do it.

The clip is pretty funny ... especially since "Darth" says he's not even a real 'Star Wars' fan -- he just liked the nickname better than the other option, "Master" (get it?).

Bader fights Rumble Johnson at UFC Fight Night in January ... the force is strong with those two.

Carrie Fisher A 'Star Wars' Force of Her Own

Carrie Fisher awakened her own dance force at the European premiere after-party in London Wednesday night.

Who does Carrie's knee look like?

The 'Force Awakens' star was goofing for cameras as she did something slightly vogue-ish while celebrating. Woulda been better in the slave girl costume, but still fun.

BTW, look at her right knee, because we gotta ask ...

'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' They're Cornering the Mayo Market

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" will not just dominate in the movie theaters ... it wants to take over the mayonnaise and window blind markets.

Baffling as it seems, Lucasfilm has filed legal docs to own products with the famous movie title, products that include:

- Mayo
- Window blinds
- Mattresses
- Mustard, ketchup and relish
- Frozen meals, consisting primarily of pasta or rice
- Tortillas
- Marmalades
- Veggie burger patties
- Bowling balls
- Bean bags
- Magic tricks
- Fishing tackle

The film company has filed hundreds of trademark applications.

It's world domination.

'Star Wars' Leaked Footage Being Hawked Online

Someone has obtained footage from "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" and they are sending around video of a pivotal moment in the film.

Whoever's doing it just sent the video to TMZ. We will not post or describe it, but the scene is the OMG moment in the flick.

We have verified the authenticity of the footage from someone who has seen the film.

It appears the person with the footage is from Indonesia, because it's subtitled in Indonesian.

'Star Wars' Disney Warns Luckiest Moviegoers Keep Your Traps Shut!!!

Disney honchos went to great lengths during the previews to protect what could become their most valuable asset -- 'Star Wars.'

Everyone who was invited to see the "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" was wanded when they entered the theater for any devices that might capture images or audio. They were all told to surrender their cell phones at the door.

Media reps all received an email before the event, which read in part, "In order to give audiences around the world the opportunity to enjoy Star Wars: The Force Awakens to its fullest and allow them to discover its surprises and plot twists in the cinema, we respectfully ask that you as press continue to be our partners on this journey, and we ask that you refrain from revealing spoilers and detailed story points in your coverage, including social media."

The embargo has now been lifted and the message to the media is clear ... don't be a jerk and ruin the movie.

LAPD to 'Star Wars' Fans We Got Your Back!!!

The Force really is with 'Star Wars' fans camping outside Hollywood's Chinese Theatre, some for almost a week now -- because LAPD's assigning extra officers to watch over them.

Law enFORCEment sources tell us, even though the big premiere event is over ... they're continuing to beef up patrols -- with uniformed and undercover cops on duty -- ahead of Thursday's midnight opening of 'The Force Awakens.'

That area of Hollywood Blvd is a well known tourist trap that attracts lots of petty crime and even assaults. Police want to make sure the 'Star Wars' faithful aren't easy targets ... of the Dark Side.

'Star Wars' Cast Hitches Ride to London on R2-D2

The stars of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" blew into London in the belly of R2-D2.

Harrison Ford, J.J. Abrams and crew chartered an ANA 787 Dreamliner jet which was wrapped as the famous robot.

The cast and crew crossed the Atlantic for the London premiere Wednesday night.

ANA, Japan's biggest airline, designed 3 Star Wars-themed jets ... all of which are in service.

Lots of hijinx inside the plane ... Chewbacca was creeping, while the flight attendant geeked out.

No word on whether the in-flight movie was "Air Force One," or whether they let Harrison fly.

'Star Trek' Star 'Star Wars' or 'Trek'? J.J. Abrams Does Have a Fav ...

PLAYING FAVORITES
TMZ.com

J.J. Abrams might have a "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" mutiny on his hands if John Boyega, Harrison Ford and Daisy Ridley see this clip.

We got Alice Eve ... who played Carol in "Star Trek into Darkness" ... which, of course, was also directed by J.J. -- and she boldly answered the question every sci-fi fan must have for Abrams.

As the savior of both franchises, does J.J. have a favorite??? The answer is YES! According to Alice, anyway. Let the debate begin ...

'Star Wars' Premiere Man Busted Bringing Knife to a Lightsaber Fight

The giant "Stars Wars: The Force Awakens" premiere drew tons of overzealous fans, and a few of them got hauled off in cuffs for everything from criminal corniness to dangerous weapons.

One guy was busted as he jumped over a crowd control barrier and yelled ... "You're going after the wrong droids!" Cops were not impressed with his display of 'New Hope' trivia -- he got arrested for trespassing.

Another guy with fake credentials was also busted for trespassing, but the event's most threatening arrest went to an inconspicuous 40-year-old man with a cane.

Law enforcement sources tell us the guy's cane set off a metal detector. When cops took a closer look and pulled it apart, they found a 14-inch blade inside! He was booked for carrying a concealed weapon ... a felony in any galaxy.

Fortunately for Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart, most fans were NOT whack jobs. Just umm ... enthusiastic.

'Star Wars' Cast The Force Can Only Do So Much

It's been 38 years since Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Peter Mayhew first got together for 'Star Wars' ... and they were reunited Monday for the premiere of 'The Force Awakens.'

Sure, they've gotten older. Still look younger than Yoda though.

Carrie Fisher seized control of the red carpet livestream during the premiere of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" ... and it was everything you could have hoped for.

Fisher went a tad off script, as she tried to hurl questions at fellow co-star Oscar Isaac at the Chinese Theatre in Hollywood ... bringing up her hard partying days, and ending with a barrage of curses.

We've missed you, Princess Leia.

'Star Wars' Premiere Security Force Awakens ... Random Searches in Hollywood

Disney and LAPD are taking no chances for Monday night's massive 'Star Wars' premiere -- locking down a chunk of Hollywood with metal detectors and random searches.

LAPD and private security officers are already blanketing several square blocks around the famed Chinese Theatre, where 'The Force Awakens' event is going down. We've learned anyone strolling through the area could be searched, frisked, and even wanded with metal detectors.

Law enforcement sources tell us there's no specific threat, but they're using an "abundance of caution" with such a high profile event. While no one used the word "terrorism" ... it's clearly a concern.

We're told Disney is kicking in about $20,000 to hire extra LAPD officers ... plain clothed and uniformed. As one source puts it, with all the fans showing up, the 'Star Wars' premiere is going to be like a "mini Oscars" ... so better safe than sorry.

'Star Wars' Fans Bring on the Free Food!

THE WINGS AWAKEN
TMZ.com

Since the Mos Eisley Cantina doesn't deliver, tons of 'Star Wars' fans camped out in front of a movie theater in Hollywood had to settle for the next best thing ... buffalo wings.

The most loyal fans in this galaxy are already camped out in front of the famous Chinese Theater on Hollywood Blvd. ... despite the fact the movie doesn't open for SIX days.

But Thursday night, the group was treated to some free wings to help get them through the waiting game, and y'know ... general starvation.

One downside -- tons of wings, no restroom in sight. They're gonna need more than the Force.

Star Wars Hunger Awakens But Chicken Wings Bring New Hope

A short while ago, in this galaxy ...

It is a period of waiting. 'Star Wars' fans, awaiting 'The Force Awakens,' line up outside theaters in Hollywood.

During the wait, hunger consumes the 100 Jedi fans not able to leave their folding chairs, for fear of losing their place in line, some who have been there already for days.

Pursued by no one, Starlight Children's Foundation, a charity for terminally ill kids, reaches out to Buffalo Wild Wings for help.

Soon 100 orders of wings, roughly worth $1,000 are donated to those on Hollywood Blvd, along with Bourbon Honey Mustard, one of 16 delicious BWW sauces.

The wait continues but there is balance in fans' stomachs once more.

T.I. China's 'Star Wars' Poster Looks Like a Black 'Marketing' Issue

SOMETHING IS UP
TMZ.com

The black man can't get a break in China -- at least that's what T.I. thinks is going on with that controversial altered 'Star Wars' poster.

We gave Tip the lowdown on China's edited version of the 'Force Awakens' poster -- showing him how John Boyega got shrunk down and tucked behind a freakin' droid. Not to mention Chewy's disappearance! T.I.'s take? It's more capitalism than racism.

It's pretty interesting -- T.I. explained his own marketing experience in Asia. He's less than outraged, but it sounds like he thinks China's not yet down with the uhh ... Dark side.
