Sources with direct knowledge tell us JE and OJ are most certainly not broken up -- despite a report claiming otherwise -- and more importantly ... we're told they're literally together in NYC right now, this as Jake goes through rehearsals this week ahead of his 'SNL' gig.

Per production sources ... Olivia has been seen this week in and around 30 Rockefeller Plaza, and we're even told Olivia's been spotted near Jacob's dressing room.

We know Jacob and the 'SNL' team are running through what they're going to put on Saturday -- evidenced in photos, videos and behind-the-scenes clips they're posting on social media -- and it sounds like Olivia Jade is in the mix back there as well with her BF.

The reason folks assumed they'd split -- aside from the report claiming they had -- was because Olivia appeared to have unfollowed Jacob on Instagram ... but TBH, it's unclear if they were even following each other, to begin with.

Jacob and Olivia have been dating for at least a few years now -- and while they did reportedly break up once before ... they ended up getting back together, and we're hearing they continue to be an item right now.

Part of the reason, perhaps, that people are speculating about their status might lie in the fact that Jacob has had a huge year in his career -- starring in two critically acclaimed films ... and paving a path for himself as a bona fide A-lister, outside of his "Euphoria" run.

Again, this all started with people seeing an alleged "unfollow" and the rumors kicked into high gear after that. From what our sources are telling us though ... Olivia's right by Jacob's side as we speak, and she'll probably be hanging around through the weekend as well.

Of course, it'd be big news if either she or Elordi were single ... they're both smoking hot and would be one of the bigger eligible bachelors/bachelorettes on the young Hollywood market.

Tina kicked off her 'SNL' career in 1997 as a writer ... later promoted to head writer in 1999 and then became a cast member in 2000 ... leaving six years later to write and star in "30 Rock."

Meanwhile, Tina fans did get to see her back in her 'SNL' roots alongside Amy Poehler ... the pair reviving the show's iconic "Weekend Update" segment for the Emmys -- a great moment resulting from two competing networks coming together.

If ya missed it, they pulled it off while presenting the Emmy award for Live Variety Special. We're told both networks wanted Amy and Tina to do it -- not only because of their 'SNL' chops -- but, also because they've teamed up for so many live entertainment gigs over the years.

As for the possibility they have an official reunion on an episode of 'SNL' -- one source says there's no immediate plans.

That's a fair assessment -- as at the time, he wasn't that famous and only attended the service as then-fiancée Ariana Grande's plus one. Still though, he was pretty known.

Now, Pete adds he was embarrassed being out and about while using ketamine -- which he used for 4 years to treat depression -- though the drug comes with a range of dissociative and hallucinogenic side effects. It doesn't seem like Pete's using ketamine anymore.

The audience clearly found the story hilarious ... but Pete sounds low-key ashamed of his actions at the time -- and perhaps for good reason, 'cause it is a pretty wild confession. That said, he's attempted to get the bad habit under control with 7 rehab stints over the years.

June 2023 was when he last checked in to rehab ... also addressing his post-traumatic stress disorder and borderline personality disorder.

Last night was the sketch comedy series' last show of the year, and every Christmas -- the two "Weekend Update" hosts have a tradition of writing jokes for one another that the other hasn't seen ... but has to read in front of the audience as if it's coming straight from them.

It's one of the better segments on the show these days, and 2023's iteration didn't disappoint -- especially for one crack Che made Colin read ... at the expense of his A-lister spouse.

The premise was highlighting a new NY law that now allows movie theaters to serve booze -- which Colin then said would serve as the only way he can get through ScarJo's "little art movies" ... with a flash to an OTS graphic of her in "Black Widow."

It was a pretty sick burn (from Che) and the audience definitely seemed to notice ... cackling and dropping the collective "OOOOOHHHHHHH" to signify how wild it was that her hubby was saying that.

Of course, it's all in good fun ... and Colin rolled with it, including reading the tail end of Che's edgy joke for him -- in which he said, "I'm kidding, honey. I love all of your movies. And if you ask me, you're an even better Black widow than Coretta Scott King."

The funniest part about all of Colin's jokes -- which were written to be pretty racist against Black people -- is that Che brought out a (fake) civil rights activist to sit next to him while he delivered all of these ... and Che ribbed him about it each and every time.

Cecily Strong did not feel comfortable playing Rep. Elise Stefanik in the 'SNL' sketch about the "genocide of Jews" hearing in Congress ... and ended up bowing out right before the show started.

The former "Saturday Night Live" star was supposed to return as a guest star in the cold open skit, and she went through a dress rehearsal as Stefanik. But, she "was uncomfortable with the sketch" ... according to a NY Post report.

The sketch tackled last week's explosive hearing on Capitol Hill, where Rep. Stefanik grilled university presidents about antisemitism on campuses ... leading to some cringeworthy responses and a resignation at UPENN.

Instead of Cecily making her first 'SNL' appearance since December 2022, when she left the NBC show after 11 seasons, she was replaced on air by Chloe Troast.

The report also cited sources claiming the writing of Saturday's cold-open sketch was slightly rushed ... and that Cecily backed out for "a variety of reasons."

It's unclear if her issue was the bit's obvious political slant in mocking a staunch Donald Trump supporter -- namely, Rep. Stefanik -- or its lack of humor. Kenan Thompson really had the only decent laughs in the skit.

Cecily might have seen the bullet coming, and decided to dodge it -- the sketch is getting terrible reviews and Chloe is getting dragged for her role in it.
