Rachel Dratch on SNL: "Once you leave, you can never go back."
Pap: "...But Tina Fey went back...?"
Rachel: (pause .... smile) "... Why ya gotta do this to me right now?!"
TMZ & Baldwin Say Palin's Hot
So who knew Alec Baldwin would go on SNL and tell Sarah Palin what TMZ told her just hours in NYC earlier... politics aside, she's kind of a babe.

It's Like Looking in a Mirror ...
Tina, meet Sarah. Sarah, this is Tina.
Here's what we know about Sarah Palin's scheduled appearance on "Saturday Night Live" tomorrow night. The wannabe VP will appear aside her doppelgänger, Tina Fey, in a sketch -- but so far, it hasn't been written yet.
Although people are speculating host Josh Brolin would appear with Palin as George W. Bush, as of now....no W-themed sketch planned.
Are we excited to see Sarah and Tina together? You ... oh, nevermind.

Please Stop It, Tina Fey
If Tina Fey's goal with her "SNL" impression is to make Gov. Sarah Palin seem so incompetent that everything she does in real life comes off genius by comparison, then she has succeeded in spades. Again.
Tina nailed it again last night and even the staunchest Dem can see a silver lining if McCain/Palin wins in November -- four more years ... of Tina Fey.

Queen Latifah Set to Grill Sarah Palin
Well-placed sources tell TMZ Queen Latifah is getting in the middle of the Sarah Palin/Joe Biden VP debate by portraying last night's moderator, PBS journalist Gwen Ifill, on "SNL" this week.
For the third time this season, we're told Tina Fey will be back, hysterically not answering questions as Palin. You betcha! No word yet on who has been tapped to play Biden.
Thanks to Latifah -- and since "SNL" has no female African-American cast member -- the world is saved from seeing Amy Poehler in black face.

Tina Fey to Sarah Palin: I Can't Quit You
As we first reported, Tina Fey couldn't help but to reprise her role as Seh-rah Pay-lin on "Saturday Night Live" last night.
This is the definition of a comedic "softball pitch" -- it almost seems too easy for Fey.

Live From New York ... It's Tina Fey!
She's baaaaaack!
Sources tell TMZ Emmy darling Tina Fey will reprise her role as Sarah Palin on tomorrow night's episode of "Saturday Night Live." Anna Faris is the host, Duffy (who?) is the musical guest.
We're also told Chris Parnell ('memba him?!) will play the roll of Jim Lehrer, who is moderating tonight's McCain/Obama debate.
Joe Piscopo from 'SNL' 'Memba Him?!
In the early '80s, Joe Piscopo became famous for playing Frank Sinatra and creating the character of Doug Whiner on "Saturday Night Live." Guess what he looks like now!
"SNL" Creating Sambo-Obama?
Either "SNL" came back from the writer's strike completely color blind or extremely one-sided. The show debuted their new Barack Obama character, which as a surprise to many -- is played by someone who isn't African-American.
A columnist at the ChicagoTribune.com has called out SNL on their choice to have Fred Armisen, who is Hispanic and Asian, portray Obama -- saying the show may be marginalizing African-American performers.
Perhaps "SNL" had their hands tied, because Kenan Thompson, the only African-American male on the cast, isn't exactly in the same weight class as Barack. Seriously, he played "Fat Albert."

'SNL' Star's DUI Bust
TMZ has learned that comedian Tracy Morgan was arrested last month for drunk driving and today in court his lawyer made it clear -- her client is not going down without a fight.
The former 'Saturday Night Live' star was arrested on Dec. 2 in Hollywood. We're told cops claim he was speeding, but we've learned Blair Berk, Morgan's formidable defense lawyer, will argue that her client had broken no traffic laws and she can prove it.
TMZ asked Berk if she believes her client is the victim of racial profiling. Her response, "I don't discuss pending court cases."
Morgan, who created memorable characters on 'SNL' including Astronaut Jones and Brian Fellow, has an otherwise clean record. The case is back in court on Feb. 23, when Berk will ask the judge to suppress the evidence, including blood-alcohol test results.
