RIP

Scott Thorson -- who dished on his romance with Liberace in his 1988 memoir "Behind the Candelabra" just a year after the famed pianist’s death -- has died.

Thorson died on August 16 -- he'd been a patient at an L.A. healthcare facility, where he had been dealing with cancer and a heart condition.

Thorson was hired as Liberace's personal friend and companion when he was 18 and the icon was 57 -- which kicked off their 5-year romance.

Rob "The Rabbit" Pitts -- star of Netflix’s "Tex Mex Motors" --  has died after a battle with stomach cancer ... TMZ has confirmed.

The car salesman said farewell in a YouTube video titled "This Is Goodbye (RIP 7/27/79 - 8/25/24)" ... and his videographer confirmed his death in the comments, writing, "I am with him now in Hospice. He just passed at 21:45 on 08/25/2024. He will be missed and we will never forget him!"

In his text-based farewell video, Rob shared he felt "off," and started experiencing symptoms like weight loss and acid reflux while filming "Tex Mex Motors" season 2 ... which his doctors finally diagnosed as stomach cancer.

NBA star Aaron Gordon will honor his late brother every time he steps on the court ... making the move to change his jersey number as a special tribute to Drew.

The Denver Nuggets forward -- who previously wore No. 50 -- will sport No. 32 this upcoming season ... the same digits Drew had during his own career.

Drew played professionally overseas (where he won the Italian Cup) and in the G-League ... and made nine appearances with the Philadelphia 76ers in 2014.

Caden Tellier -- a high school quarterback in Alabama -- has tragically died at just 16 years old after he sustained a head injury during a game on Friday night.

Tellier was tackled to the ground during John T. Morgan Academy's season-opening contest against Southern Academy in Selma ... and was quickly airlifted to the University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital when it became apparent something was seriously wrong with him.

Sadly, school officials revealed he did not survive the injury.

Oklahoma City Police just dropped dramatic body cam footage ... showing the intense moment cops shot an armed man in a fatal incident that began as a mental health call.

The clip's a tough watch -- It shows Brandon Lena, in distress, walking around with a pistol outside his house near Tinker Air Force Base.

Despite officers’ efforts to calm things down, it escalates quickly, ending with Lena’s death in the street.

Malcolm LaVergne -- O.J.'s longtime lawyer and now executor of his estate -- tells TMZ ... the Juice's remains have been transformed into cremation jewelry, which was divvied up among his 4 adult children.

Simpson was cremated back in April, following his death, and we're told his kids signed off on having their father's ashes turned into an assortment of jewelry. As executor, Malcolm also had to provide written consent to the process.

Rapper Enchanting, who died suddenly back in June, is yet another victim of the opioid crisis -- an accidental overdose is the official cause of death ... TMZ has learned.

The Dallas County Medical Examiner's Office tells us the Texas-born star Enchanting OD'd on oxycodone and benzodiazepines. Oxycodone is the synthetic opioid and benzodiazepines are a class of depressants -- commonly marketed as brands that include Valium, Xanax and Klonopin.

Enchanting, whose real name was Channing Nicole Larry, was set to be the First Lady of Gucci Mane’s 1017 Records before her tragic death.

A federal judge is dismissing felony charges against 2 officers who got the warrant to enter Breonna Taylor's home ... with the judge blaming Breonna's boyfriend, and not the warrant, for causing her death.

Here's the deal ... in 2022, Detective Joshua Jaynes and Sgt. Kyle Meany were charged with submitting a false affidavit to search Taylor's home before the raid, and then creating a fake cover story to avoid responsibility after Taylor was killed during the raid.

They were also charged with felonies for using a dangerous weapon to deprive Breonna of her Fourth Amendment right to defend herself against unreasonable search.

Ozzy Osbourne is mourning the loss of a beloved member of his pack, announcing the death of his longtime pet, Rocky.

Tony McFarr -- a stuntman who served as a double for big Hollywood stars like Chris Pratt -- died from a heart issue likely brought on by acute alcohol poisoning from prolonged heavy drinking.

In new documents, obtained by TMZ, the Orange County Medical Examiner in Florida officially declared Tony's death the result of an irregular heartbeat due to an issue with his heart valves.

The ME says contributing factors in Tony's death include alcohol poisoning and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease ... also known as COPD, a common lung disease that restricts airflow and causes breathing problems.
