Ex-UFC Fighter Geane Herrera Dead At 33 ... After Motorcycle Crash

Former UFC fighter Geane Herrera -- who also competed in Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) -- tragically passed away following a fatal motorcycle crash in Florida on Saturday.

He was only 33 and a few days shy of his 34th birthday.

The Florida Dept. of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles told us the incident happened around 10:45 PM at Gandy Bridge in Tampa, FL ... when Herrera crashed into the back of another vehicle at a "very high rate of speed."

Jon Wysocki Founding Staind Drummer Dead at 53

Jon Wysocki, best known as a founding member and drummer of Staind, has reportedly died.

The news of his passing was shared on social media by Jon's bandmates -- from his other rock group Lydia's Castle -- who confirmed the drummer died Saturday evening while surrounded by his family and friends.

Though the members of Lydia's Castle did not share Jon's cause of death, the musician was reportedly having issues with his liver -- requiring medical care.

Riley's loved ones attended the University of Missouri's graduation Saturday ... accepting Riley's diploma from the Mizzou College of Arts and Science. The crowd met Riley's family with cheers and a standing O ... with the late student's name being the first one read out.

The posthumous achievement was an understandably poignant moment for Riley's parents and stepparents, who fought back tears as they took the stage.

Chris Pratt's Stunt Double Tony McFarr Dead at 47 ... 'Guardians,' 'Jurassic,' Etc.

He adds, "He was always a gentleman and professional. He'll be missed. My prayers go out to his friends and family, especially his daughter."

Tony McFarr -- a stuntman who stepped in to double for some of Hollywood's biggest stars, including Chris Pratt -- has died ... TMZ has learned.

The daredevil performer's mother, Donna, tells us he passed away Monday at his home just outside Orlando -- and while we're told the family doesn't know the exact circumstances of his death just yet ... Donna does say his passing is unexpected and shocking.

She says Tony was active and healthy ... and we're told the medical examiner's office is running toxicology tests now. The Orange County Medical Examiner confirms to us they have the case ... and that an official cause is still pending.

An Amazon worker tried to shoot his coworker this week in Ohio ... but, somehow he missed at point-blank range -- which all ended in tragedy when he was gunned down by cops.

Cops identified Ali Hamsa Yusuf -- a 22-year-old Amazon security guard who brought a gun to work -- as the man who tried to shoot his supervisor ... which was captured on surveillance footage.

Check out the clip ... Yusuf takes the gun out and tries to fire it right behind his boss -- but the gun jams. He inspects it, fixes the issue and fires again successfully.

Rakim Lubin, CBB Player Ex-UConn Forward Dead At 28

5/16 -- 9:14 AM PT -- UConn's Athletic Department told TMZ Sports on Thursday they are saddened by Lubin's death and will pray for his family.

"UConn Athletics offers its condolences and has Rakim’s family in our thoughts."

Rakim Lubin -- a former college basketball player who hooped for the UConn Huskies -- has reportedly passed away. He was only 28 years old.

According to the Prestige Memorial Funeral Home, the 6-foot-8 baller -- nicknamed "Rock"' due to his physique -- reportedly died on May 12th.

The cause of Rakim's death is not known.

Angie Harmon Sues Deliveryman Who Shot and Killed Her Dog

Angie Harmon is taking the deliveryman who shot and killed her dog to court -- and she's also going after the company he was working for ... claiming it was negligent.

The actress is suing Christopher Anthony Reid for what she claims was the wrongful shooting of her pup in April on her property in North Carolina -- this after she'd ordered something off of Instacart and was communicating with a woman she thought was named "Merle."

In the docs, obtained by TMZ, Angie claims she wasn't talking to a lady at all ... instead, she was communicating with Reid -- whom she alleges was impersonating/passing as Merle.

Mariam Creighton College Volleyball Player Dead At 21 Killed In Nightclub Shooting

Albany State University volleyball player Mariam Creighton was tragically killed in a nightclub shooting in Atlanta over the weekend. She was only 21 years old.

The Atlanta Police Department said the incident happened around 2:28 AM on Sunday ... when officers responded to shots fired at the Elleven45 establishment.

Responders found six people shot ... two of whom were pronounced dead at the scene -- Creighton and 20-year-old Nakyris Ridley.

David Sanborn Sax Icon Dead at 78 After Cancer Battle

David Sanborn, the saxophone great who helped bring jazz to the masses, is dead after battling cancer.

His family and management announced the sad news Monday morning on his X account, revealing David died on Sunday from prostate cancer, and complications related to the cancer.

Sanborn played the alto saxophone, and throughout his career, he bridged the worlds of jazz, rock, blues and R&B. For instance, he got his break in the Paul Butterfield Blues Band in 1967 and played with the group at Woodstock.
