If you looked up over the English Channel Sunday you might have seen what looked like a flying skateboard, and the dude who was riding it just broke a record!

French inventor Franky Zapata traveled nearly 22 miles, 60 feet in the air, to become the first person ever to use a flyboard to traverse the English Channel.

Zapata dissolved into tears after he landed, immodestly saying he didn't know how big a deal it was and whether it would go in the history books.

He failed last week to cross the Channel, but second time was a charm.

Lil Uzi Vert broke the bank celebrating 25 years of life ... throwing a lavish birthday party in NYC and dropping over a million bucks for a luxury car that used to belong to Floyd Mayweather!!!

The Philly rapper pulled out all the stops Wednesday night for his bday bash ... partying the night away with celeb friends and tons of smokin' hot babes at Magic Hour Rooftop Bar & Lounge.

Jordyn Woods, Wale, Gunna, Casanova, Bernice Burgos, Pop Smoke, Shiggy, DJ Clue and a bunch of others turned up ... and Uzi was literally looking like a kid in a candy store, because guests chowed down on candy sushi, cotton candy, popcorn and pretzels.

Uzi rolled up to his party in style ... hopping out of Floyd's former Bugatti. We're told Uzi dropped $1.7 million on Mayweather's whip, and he threw down another $20,000 to get the car rush-delivered from Los Angeles.

Lil Uzi bought the 2012 Bugatti Grand Sport from celebrity car broker RD Whittington ... and we're told it's the same car Floyd got before his 2017 superfight against Conor McGregor.

The Bugatti looks a little different now ... thanks to some sweet custom work by CarEffex, which tricked it out with a $10k custom wrap.

BTW ... when Floyd first copped the Bugatti, he threw down $3.3 MILLION. So, Uzi got a steal.

Back to the party ... Lil Uzi Vert guzzled champagne and there were Uzi-themed cocktails, courtesy of D'usse. He cut into a birthday cake decorated in diamonds and dollar bills -- the party theme was "Dripping Green & Diamonds."

Speaking of diamonds ... as you can see in the pics, Uzi was rocking tons of new ice from celeb jeweler Eliantte. Gotta have that bday bling!

Brad Pitt STRUGGLED valiantly to make a 3-point turn while he filmed a scene in Quentin Tarantino's new movie ... and, gotta say -- he failed miserably!!!

Brad is behind the wheel of a 1960 Karmann Ghia roadster -- an awesome car back in the day.  Brad was trying to 3-point it on a narrow, Bev. Hills road, with little success as he filmed "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood."

The vid was shot last September ... just a few houses down from the home where Sharon Tate was brutally murdered in 1969 by Manson Family members. The streets in the neighborhood are mostly narrow and scary at night.

The flick opened up this weekend ... and there was already a minor hiccup in promoting the project on a major billboard in Los Angeles.

TMZ has the police video from 'Bachelorette' contestant Tyler Cameron's Florida car crash ... and dude's putting the "body" in body cam footage!!!

It all went down back in May, when 26-year-old Tyler rear-ended a 2014 Ford Pickup while driving his giant 2005 Excursion in Jupiter, Florida.

The crash caused a chain reaction with the Ford smashing into a 3rd car, which was being driven by a pregnant woman.

Cops responded to the scene ... and, as you can see in the footage, they were greeted by a bloodied and beautiful Tyler C. who was walking around the area with his shirt wide open.

Unclear why Tyler decided to pop his top ... but we're not complaining.

Don't worry, nobody was seriously injured -- including the pregnant woman. Tyler did have a small cut on his forehead, but he'll be fine. In fact, the scar might even up the sex appeal!!!

Tyler's mother also raced to the scene to check on her son. You can see her consoling the reality star as his sweaty, chiseled abs glisten in the sun.

As for the crash, Tyler says traffic stopped unexpectedly and even though he slammed on his brakes, his car is so big he couldn't keep the Excursion from hitting the car in front of him.

Tyler was cited for careless driving. He's due in court next month.

BTW ... Tyler is one of the 3 finalists on "The Bachelorette" and will make his final pitch to Hannah Brown on the 2-part finale, which airs next week.

He's definitely become a fan favorite on the show -- and he's become so popular, Gigi Hadid decided to follow him on Instagram.

Jennifer Lopez is driving into her 50th year of life in style -- all thanks to her hubby-to-be, Alex Rodriguez, who bought her a brand spankin' new sports car.

J Lo was spotted Wednesday testing out her new whip -- which looks like a 2019 Porsche 911 GT3 -- with cameras rolling in Miami, and A-Rod standing nearby making sure everything went off without a hitch.

Gotta say, the fire red ride suits Jennifer well -- hot, sexy, classic ... just like its owner!!!

Meanwhile, it  looks like A-Rod was inspecting the gift upon delivery ... which showed up with a giant yellow ribbon on the hood. Nothing less than perfect for your honey, right?

J Lo is celebrating the big 5-0 at a shindig on Star Island -- just off the coast of Miami Beach. Seems like it's gonna be a giant birthday bash too, considering what was being brought in and all the prep work that was going into getting the place set up.

You can see giant golden orbs that are hanging all around a bunch of gazebos on the waterfront. Ya gotta assume J Lo's gonna go all out for her big day. And, rightfully so, of course ... it's a major milestone for her storied life.

Take 2! Tracy Morgan is back in his precious Bugatti ... the one he got into a car accident with last month, and it looks as good as new -- which raises some financial questions. 

The comedian and 'Last O.G.' actor was rolling around NYC Monday in what appears to be the same luxury sports car that got slammed in Manhattan ... moments after he drove it off the lot. We broke the story, the repairs -- which didn't seem major to the eye -- were gonna cost upwards of $32k!!! The question now ... who the heck paid for this???

When the accident happened, NYPD told us the fender bender appeared to be the other driver's fault. If in fact it was ... her insurance would typically cover the damage. However, it's not everyday you hit a $2 million car, and it's unclear if the other driver had that much coverage. 

It's also possible, Tracy's insurance covered it but what's most likely is both insurance companies are slugging it out. 

Bottom line for Tracy ... he can get back to flaunting his whip around town.

Tyrese's former whip is hitting the market ... he's looking to unload a tricked-out Jeep Wrangler on his way out the door from Voltron Motors, the company that pimped his ride.

Tyrese cofounded Voltron Motors back in 2016 after investing in the customizing co. that did some sharp work on 2 Jeeps for "Fast and Furious 8." After he came on board, the company souped up a Jeep Wrangler with all kinds of bells and whistles for its new honcho.

Now that Tyrese is leaving VM, he's selling that super sick set of wheels for a cool $109,000.

A normal 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport woulda cost ya a mere $30k or so -- but Tyrese's Voltron Rebel Jeep would make Paul Walker proud. It's an absolute beast, with a supercharged V6 engine producing an estimated 325 horse power and 300 foot-pounds of torque!!!

It's got a custom matte white exterior, a lift kit, rhino rack, two-piece rebel sportback hardtop, GD3 Grid off-road wheels, power running boards, front trac bar and a Fab Fours grill, fender and bumper.

The interior is pretty badass too ... a custom suede headliner and a bumping sound system featuring a 500-watt subwoofer amplifier to blow out your ears, and anyone nearby too.

Sources close to the situation tell TMZ ... there's no bad blood between Tyrese and Volton Motors. He's only leaving because he wants to put his time and his money into Voltron Entertainment, where he'll produce and release films.

Scary moment at the race track Tuesday ... Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s 18-year-old niece was involved in a horrific crash -- but miraculously escaped uninjured!!

It all went down at a USAC Racing event at Red Dirt Raceway in Oklahoma ... where Karsyn Elledge -- whose mom, Kelley Earnhardt Miller, is Jr.'s older sister -- flipped her sprint car multiple times over a barrier and fencing.

Elledge was coming down turn 3 at the track when she lost control ... causing her car to go airborne and tumble several yards OVER a wall before coming to a stop.

The video is crazy ... but, somehow, Elledge -- whose goal is to follow in her family's famous racing footsteps -- was able to walk away from the wreck under her own power.

"Tonight I am so very thankful that all my safety equipment did it's job & that my team built a safe car," Elledge wrote after the crash ... "Thank you to everyone who's reach out, I am sore, but most hurt is my pride."

It's great news ... seeing as the incident hits WAY too close to home for Earnhardt racing fans. Remember, it was just 18 years ago that Dale Sr. tragically passed away in a wreck at Daytona International Speedway.

Ray J's Father's Day gift is definitely a little late, but also definitely worth the wait -- a modern black stallion he can now add to his impressive car collection.

We're told Ray J's wife, Princess Love, hit up the crew over at Pazi Performance Auto Body Shop & Customization in Burbank and had them customize this drop-dead-gorgeous Ford Mustang.

The initial plan was to give it to Ray J on Father's Day but this kinda precision design takes time -- which is why Ray J had it delivered to him just days ago. Goes without saying, but we're told Ray J had that "giddy up" look on his face when he got his first glimpse at the $125k ride.

The whip has a bad ass matte black finish and it's fitted with airlift sports suspension, custom rims from BC Forged and low-pro tires. The rims alone are at least a grand apiece!

Check out the pics ... the windows might be tinted but everyone will know it's Ray J riding in style thanks to his company's logo on the doors. If he wants to stay incognito without sacrificing style ... he can always fall back on his Maybach or Navigator.

Blueface is not having a great start to his weekend -- cops pulled him over in his luxury sports car and apparently slapped handcuffs on him ... and we got video as it was going down.

The "Thotiana" rapper was pulled over Friday afternoon in his black Porsche. TMZ obtained this video of Blueface sitting on the curb with his hands behind his back.

Law enforcement tells us Blueface was pulled over initially for allegedly speeding, tinted windows, and didn't have plates on his new car.

We're told he was detained in cuffs due to the fact he was speeding through a residential area. However, after talking to him they determined no crime was committed and let him go. No ticket ... just a warning.

Blueface seemed to be enjoying his joy ride before 5-0 put a stop to his fun -- he posted a series of videos of himself vibin' to music in his whip. Of course, driving and using your cell phone is a big no-no too. It's somebody's lucky day.

Wladimir Klitschko and his family were SAVED by emergency responders in Spain on Monday -- after the luxury yacht they were traveling on, caught fire at sea!!

The rescue was all captured on video ... as firefighters and other emergency workers rushed to the boat off the coast of Mallorca around 2 AM and sprayed fire-suppressing foam on the boat.

"The boat was on fire, we're hanging out outside," the former boxing champ says on the dramatic video ... "We're in the sea getting rescued from the Mallorcan/Spanish fire department."

The yacht crew had already controlled the fire by the time rescuers showed up -- so responders mostly did some thorough inspection, made sure the fire was out ... and then towed the ship to port.

But, during the tow, smoke began to billow out of the engine room -- so the rest of the crew was evacuated to a rescue ship.

After the incident, 43-year-old Klitschko tweeted about the rescue ... saying, "Be careful what you wish for: fate took my wish for "some #adrenalin" a bit too literally and our boat-trip Sunday night ended up in our boat #igniting and family & friends being evacuated by coast guard and fire rescue-team."

"No worries: we are all fine!"

Cameras caught the moment when Dikembe Mutombo's fancy Rolls-Royce was smashed in Sunday night ... and the video appears to show a person messing with the NBA legend's car for several minutes.

The incident took place at Landmark Diner in the Atlanta, Georgia area on Father's Day ... when cops say the windows on Mutombo's 2009 Rolls-Royce Phantom were damaged by a vandal.

In the video, obtained by TMZ Sports ... you can see a person back into the parking spot next to Mutombo's car around 10:30 PM -- and then get out and appear to damage the pricey ride.

We're told Mutombo's car was hit along with several others in the parking lot that night ... and the Atlanta Police Department is currently conducting an investigation into the incident.

For their part, the restaurant's general manager says he's tired of the criminal acts ... and is vowing to hire private security.

It's not every day you see a BILLIONAIRE inside a DMV ... but here's Kylie, strolling though the office in Thousand Oaks.

Kylie shared the adventure on her Instagram Story, and it sounds like she was the driving force behind the big errand ... because she says she had to drag him out of the house to finally get it done.

Looks like their big day of studying paid off ... Kylie was happy to report Ariel passed his test and got his license!!!

Kim Kardashian's West is helping convicts who were just trying to make a living selling drugs ... at least that's the way a former drug kingpin who served hard time sees it.

"Freeway" Rick Ross -- who went to federal prison in 1996 after making millions as a drug kingpin during the '80s crack cocaine epidemic -- made his sentiments clear at LAX ... selling drugs is not a violent crime -- it boils down to simple economics.

Ross says drug dealers are mostly trying to support their families, and that's why they got in the game. He praises Kim for spearheading the Lyft partnership ... which will help up to 5,000 soon-to-be-released prisoners get a ride to job interviews.

Ross tells us this is a huge deal ... even though he had a girlfriend to drive him around once he got out in 2009 ... many others at the halfway house with him weren't so lucky.

The ex-drug boss also praises Kim for doing the right thing ... even if it means working with President Trump.

Dikembe Mutombo's fancy Rolls-Royce Phantom was smashed up while he was having a Father's Day dinner with his family ... and now cops are on the hunt for the culprit.

The 52-year-old NBA legend was dining at the Landmark Diner in the Atlanta area late Sunday evening -- when someone ran into the restaurant and yelled out that multiple cars had been vandalized in the parking lot.

When Dikembe checked out his 2009 Rolls, he noticed both front windows and the rear passenger windows were busted, according to the police report obtained by TMZ Sports.

Cops say nothing appeared to be stolen and no one was injured -- essentially, it seems like the culprit just wanted to damage the cars like a jerk.

Cops dusted Dikembe's car for fingerprints but it's unclear if they got a hit. We're told, unfortunately, vehicular vandalism is pretty common in the area and local business owners and residents are furious ... and they're working with police to put an end to it.

We spoke with the general manager of Landmark who says he feels terrible for Dikembe -- and vows to hire private security to prevent situations like this in the future.

We also spoke with a witness who tells us Dikembe is a regular at Landmark and everyone there loves him -- it's not like he has any enemies looking to harm him.
