Royal Caribbean Cruises put a bunch of tourists in a death trap by setting them up with a reckless Jamaican bus driver who ended up getting into a huge wreck ... according to a new lawsuit.

The 8 passengers suing were aboard the Independence of the Seas a year ago when they pulled into port and booked a day excursion to Dunn's River Falls ... which required them to take a bus, and their description of the ride is pretty hairy.

They say the driver was speeding, changing lanes and generally driving like a maniac. They repeatedly asked him to slow down, but were told he was driving "the way everyone typically drove in Jamaica."

According to docs, the only thing slow about the driver was his reaction to an oncoming truck ... which had swerved into their lane. The passengers say their wheel man failed to get out of the way, and the bus was broadsided and flipped multiple times ... causing severe and permanent injuries.

They say Royal Caribbean stuck them with an incompetent driver and failed to provide a safe excursion.

Uber's been sued again -- this time because a driver was allegedly delirious behind the wheel, and then went on a campaign against the passenger to keep her yap shut ... according to a new lawsuit.

Marisa Hyland says it all went down last summer in NYC, when a driver named June repeatedly averted crashing by a whisker during a 4 mile trip to work. Marisa says June told her she was "delirious" from an all-night shift and needed some ZZZ's.

Marisa says she demanded out and once on safe ground, called Uber again and belatedly got to her destination.

Uber's being sued over a rogue driver who allegedly beat the crap out of a passenger and left him for dead in freezing weather.

Joseph Fusco says the ordeal went down back in December when he requested an Uber to take him on a 9 mile ride to his home to Cherry Hill, NJ. In the lawsuit he's filed against Uber, Joseph says the driver refused to drive him there.

Joseph pleaded, but says the driver got pissed, dragged him out of the car and beat him senseless ... breaking multiple bones in his face, knocking out teeth and leaving him in a pool of blood in the cold. He thinks there's surveillance video showing him unconscious as the driver stomped him.

Adding insult to injury, Joseph says the driver charged him for a 28 minute ride -- and Uber has refused to ID the driver for investigators.

Kanye West splurged on some sweet toys just before Xmas ... and it cost him a pretty penny.

'Ye dropped just north of $20k for 12 URB-Es -- the foldable, motorized scooter that goes up to 15 mph. Each ride -- all in carbon black -- set him back $1,699.

It's unclear who got the scooters ... but recipients are also getting accessories -- leather handle straps, a cell phone mount and, how cool is this ... the scooter also charges your phone or tablet.

Tesla is an awesome car with futuristic electronics that set the standard for the auto industry ... they also crash into garages and houses because the car malfunctions ... so claims a Tesla owner in a new class action lawsuit, but the car company claims it's all just a crass money play.

The lawsuit centers on the Tesla X, a high-performance crossover SUV that was released in 2015.

According to the suit, there have been at least 10 instances where the vehicle experienced full power acceleration while the driver was trying to park or while the vehicle was cruising at a slow speed. The suit claims of the 10 instances, 8 resulted in crashes.

The plaintiff, Ji Chang Son, says he was returning home in September when he slowed the X to 6 MPH and eased into his driveway. He says the vehicle suddenly accelerated at full power, crashing through the garage, destroying beams and a sewer pipe, and coming to rest in his living room. He says he was trapped inside the X because it was pinned shut by support beams and other debris.

The suit says only 16,000 Model X's have been sold in the U.S., so 10 reported instances of sudden acceleration is alarming, especially since the car can "explosively accelerate from a standstill to 60 miles per hour in under 3 seconds."

The suit makes serious allegations against Tesla ... that the company knowingly refused to alert its car owners to the problem and failed to fix it.

The class action -- which alleges 16,000 car owners are at risk -- asks for various damages including punitives. It also seeks an order forcing Tesla to repair, recall or replace the Model X.

Tesla tells TMZ it fully investigated Mr. Son's claims and found "The evidence, including data from the car, conclusively shows that the crash was the result of Mr. Son pressing the accelerator pedal all the way to 100%."

Miles Teller went upside down Thursday night when his truck hit another car and flipped over ... TMZ has learned.

We're told the actor was driving in the San Fernando Valley late Thursday night when an Uber driver made a left turn in front of Teller, who was driving with his girlfriend. Miles' Bronco flipped over. He was not injured but enraged and got out of the truck screaming, "You f***** up my truck." We're told he was so angry people had to restrain him from attacking the Uber driver.

Our law enforcement sources say the accident was not Miles' fault. It's clear from the photo the Uber driver made a left when it was unsafe.

An ambulance came and took 2 passengers in the Uber to the hospital after they complained of minor injuries. An eyewitness says Miles appeared concerned about the 2 injured people.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ drugs or alcohol did not play a factor in the crash.

We're told Teller's put about $200k in the restoring his SUV over the years ... ouch.

It's interesting ... Miles' 2 biggest movie roles -- "Whiplash" and "Bleed for This" feature his characters getting in a bad car accident. And, when he was 20, he got in a near-fatal car crash.

WBC Light Welterweight champ Terence Crawford -- who just came off a KO victory on Saturday -- was just hit with a 90 day jail sentence in connection with a disturbance at an Omaha body shop.

Crawford was in front of an Omaha judge earlier Thursday on charges of property damage, trespassing, and disorderly conduct ... all misdemeanors .... and was convicted on two of the three.

The charges stem from an incident where the owner of Extreme Custom Fleet & Auto says Crawford and some buddies forcefully tried to take Crawford's car out of the shop without fully paying for work that was done.

The owner of the shop claimed $3,300 of damage was done to a hydraulic lift during the fracas ... and claimed he felt intimidated by Crawford's presence ... even though the champ never physically made a threat.

Crawford -- widely recognized as one of the top five fighters in the world -- had faced up to six months in jail on each count and a $500 fine.

Lil Uzi Vert got a little too big for his britches on a dirt bike and wiped out during a wild chase with Atlanta PD, which ended with him in handcuffs.

According to the police report ... Lil Uzi and a friend were riding dirt bikes last Thursday night, without lights or helmets. Cops say the duo raced the wrong way down a one-way, drove on a sidewalk and crossed 5 lanes of traffic without signaling.

Cops say the rapper was trying to speed away from officers, but lost his balance and had to ditch the bike. He and his friend tried to flee on foot, but were quickly nabbed.

Uzi was booked for obstruction, reckless driving, not having a driver's license and a slew of other traffic violations. He got out Friday after posting $6,500 bond.

His rep had no comment on the arrest.

Just when Casper Smart thought 2016 couldn't get worse -- he totaled his Mercedes sports car, but on the positive side ... he was able to walk away from the nasty wreck.

Casper smashed into a guardrail and a tree in Woodland Hills, CA around midnight ... according to cops. The collision smashed in the driver's side of the car and deployed his airbags. Police say there were no other vehicles involved ... it appears he just lost control, and alcohol was not a factor.

Jennifer Lopez's ex was not injured -- kudos to Mercedes -- and actually posted a pic of his baby with "#wasntmyfault."

Desiigner had no business getting behind the wheel of a rented Ferrari, but since he wrecked it when he did, he needs to cough up some dough ... according to the rental company's lawsuit.

The rental company is suing the "Panda" rapper for destroying a 2014 Ferrari back in June. It had been rented by 2 of his friends, who are also named in the suit.

According to docs ... the friends gave Desiigner permission to drive the whip, and then he crashed it in NJ. The car's valued at $220k, but the company's suing for more than $500k because they say they're going to lose out on future rental money -- as in $1,599 per day.

The docs also included a cryptic tweet, supposedly from Desiigner, saying, "If you have a luxury car you better know how to drive." The rental company thinks it's a confession, but we checked and the account doesn't look like it belongs to Desiigner.

We reached out to Desiigner's rep, who tells us ... "This is the first that Desiigner or his team have heard about this lawsuit. The minute he has had a chance to consult with his attorney, his managers or his attorney will respond."

50 Cent uses his image to plug a bunch of products -- vodka, headphones, etc -- but a few auto detailing companies used Fiddy, and he's pissed about it ... according to a new suit.

50's suing Phenomenal Vinyl, Rim Source Motorsports and Forgiato for posting pics of him on social media to sell vehicle wraps and rims. The rapper fully admits hiring them to do work on his whips, but says he gave the companies clear instructions to NOT post any photos or images of him.

In the suit, he says Phenomenal Vinyl went ahead and did just that on Instagram, and even tagged him in the image ... making it seem like he was endorsing them. He's suing all 3 companies for using his trademarked name without permission -- and also for holding a set of rims hostage, so to speak.

50 says PV is holding his gear until he settles a $31k tab, which he's refusing to pay because he thinks they overcharged as retaliation.

No more repo tales for Tyga and Ferraris -- instead, he's getting sued over one ... that was also repo'd.

A guy named Alex Benedict is going after the rapper for failing to make his lease payments on a red 'rrari 488. In the docs, Benedict claims they agreed to a deal back in May but Tyga didn't pony up so he had the car repo'd TWICE.

The first time was Aug. 31, but Tyga struck another deal to get the car back (yes, really) and was supposed to return it Oct. 9. Benedict says Tyga failed to do that too, and the repo man went back to work on Nov. 8.

Benedict is suing to get at least $150k in damages. This might explain that umm ... birthday surprise.

We've reached out to Tyga, so far no word back.

Steve Francis was BALLIN' OUT during his drunk driving arrest -- claiming he was wearing a $1 MILLION chain when cops took him into custody ... this according to the police report obtained by TMZ Sports.

As we previously reported, the ex-NBA star was popped for DWI in Houston on Saturday night -- and allegedly threatened revenge on the arresting officers.

He was taken to a nearby police station where he was booked -- and while there, cops noted the "property" he had on him at the time ... which included a bunch of weed.

According to the police report, Francis' chain was a "yellow metallic necklace with 'M'" ... valued at $1,000,000. We're told the value was provided to the police by Francis himself.

Cops say he also had 21.92 grams of weed with paper rolls ... which seems a lot to most people but as one stoner in our office put it, "It wouldn't get Snoop out of bed in the morning."

The police report also lists Francis as 6'3", 220 lbs ... about 25 pounds heavier than his playing weight.

Slim Thug's dinner was rudely interrupted by cops serving bad news -- crooks rolled his Rolls-Royce in the restaurant parking lot.

Slim tells TMZ ... he was having a business meeting over dinner at a Houston's ... in Houston, when someone smashed one window on his 2015 Rolls-Royce Wraith, and stole an iPhone. Cops tells us the whole caper was captured on security cameras, and the footage is key to their investigation.

Even though they only broke one window, it's a Rolls window. Slim says repairs will cost about $10k because the shattered glass messed up his leather and his paint job.

Silver linings? Insurance will cover the damage, and he enjoyed a delicious Hawaiian Rib-eye steak!
