Brandon filed the docs in L.A. County Superior Court yesterday -- blasting some guy named Marc Laidler, who owns 310 Motoring ... a car customization company based in Los Angeles.

According to the lawsuit, Brandon paid Marc $27,188 to spruce up his 2009 Bentley -- but Marc and his company did jack squat ... and so far, have refused to give Brandon his money back.

Game tells TMZ he leased the Corvette roughly three years ago ... but he was on tour when the lease expired and was unable to return it.

But a few days ago, after Game returned home, repo men came to the house and took the car away. Sources connected to the situation tell us Game was home at the time and was "cooperative" during the hand-off.

A rep for Volo Auto Museum in Chicago tells TMZ they would be honored if Prince William and Kate Middleton used the priceless car as transportation for their wedding next month.

The car was purchased specifically for Diana’s visit to the Windy City in 1996 -- her last time in the U.S. before she died -- and it's been sitting in the museum since 2007.

Now, TMZ has learned, Stallone and the company reached a settlement ... under which Sly will regain ownership of the whip ... estimated to be worth more than $250,000.

It's unclear if any money changed hands ... but who cares, Sly's getting his "Cobra" car back!!!

Brian Ronalds' wife Stephanie tells TMZ she was making a three-point turn in front of a friend's Hollywood Hills home last weekend when the flames erupted from the engine of their Dodge Journey -- and seconds after she escaped ... the vehicle exploded.

Stephanie says they bought the SUV 6 weeks ago -- and claims Dodge did not inform them about a safety recall involving steering fluid leaking onto the engine ... which could spark a fire.

Stephanie has no proof that's what happened in this case, but says she's looking into it ... and adds, "I know in my heart the car is defective. I was driving it and it was fine until that point."

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ, Arnold was driving around L.A. in his Porsche yesterday -- top down and everything -- and was eventually pulled over for an unknown traffic violation.

Spectacular tweeted the pics from his hospital bed last night, saying, "Just got into a accident, and everything on my body is hurting.. And now my Lamborghini is gone :("

Now, Wendy's going after Megan in court -- demanding the actress cough up money to cover her repairs ... but so far, Megan has refused.

According to Megan, she doesn't owe squat -- claiming the light was yellow when she entered the intersection ... and Wendy's own "negligence" led to the collision.

The other driver involved in the accident claims he was severely injured in the wreck -- and eventually needed surgery to fix his neck, back and shoulder.

According to the lawsuit filed in L.A. County Superior Court by attorney Michael Marzban -- the other driver is suing for unspecified damages ... including wage loss and medical expenses.
