As we first reported, the engine suddenly burst into flames while a production assistant on the show was driving it back to the shop.

A rep for the show tells us they took the car apart and now they think it'll take $10k worth of work to get it up and running again. The car belongs to Old Man Rick, who tells us, "She's gentle and these young little bastards these days don't know how to treat anything with care. That boy drivin’ it, you can’t fix dumb."

Sources connected with the show tell TMZ, a production assistant was driving the car -- which belongs to Richard aka "The Old Man" -- and right before he made it back to the shop for yesterday's taping ... the engine suddenly burst into flames.

They haven't pinpointed the exact reason behind the miniature explosion -- but we're told, a loose fuel hose is probably to blame.

Lisa tells TMZ ... she was driving on Benedict Canyon Drive when some lumber from the truck in front of her fell off. Lisa tried to avoid the wood by attempting to quickly pass the truck, but she says the truck driver intentionally tried squeezing her to the curb.

Lisa says the truck actually attached to her Bentley, causing "serious damage."

And Lisa tells us, "I'm not feeling so good. I'm going to see a doctor."

Lisa's "Real Housewives" co-star Kyle Richards showed up at the scene to help.

She says she's not going to file a police report.

Fortunately for the super rich 17-year-old ... he got outta there before cops took notice.

Glickman tells TMZ, he was just settling his bill when he looked out the window and noticed a giant white SUV had jumped the sidewalk ... plowing straight into his parked Mustang.

Cops showed up to get to the bottom of it -- but according to Glickman, it turned into a complete snafu when an unrelated fight erupted across the street ... and the cops had to leave to break it up.

The cars were purchased through the boys' company MPS Entertainment and we're told Unique Autosports Miami did the customization -- which included brand new leather interiors, a sound system complete with subwoofers, and 22" rims. Total value ... about $75,000 each.

According to our source, The Sitch was inspired by Diddy who recently got a Jeep just like it.

Thankfully, we're told The Sitch's badass black Bentley wasn't towed -- it's just getting a quick tune-up in Manhattan. Keep on trucking.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ, Fox -- who was driving a brand new BMW 7 Series -- was cruising around west L.A. when he accidentally stopped too late at a red light ... and had to proceed through the intersection.

We're told a cop saw the whole thing and pulled Fox over, citing him for running the red.

While Jwoww, Snooki and Ronnie (who drove up with a very sour Sammi) fist pumped their fame into new BMWs, Vinny cruised up in a sleek Mercedes, Pauly D gelled well with his Cadillac and The Situation flashed his jacked up Range Rover.

Nicole was on probation for a DUI in 2006, where she was driving the wrong way on an L.A. freeway.

Nicole's lawyer, the effervescent Shawn Chapman Holley, went to court this AM -- in the rain no less -- and presented the judge with proof Nicole had completed all the terms of probation, including a glowing report from the alcohol ed program in which she's been enrolled for the last 18 months.

Probation was scheduled to end in February, but since all the terms have been satisfied, the judge agreed to terminate it early.

Sadly, TMZ has learned, Snoop Dogg's legendary yellow, 1967 Pontiac was taken into police custody last night, after one of Snoop's homies dared to drive it on a suspended license.

Cops first took notice when they saw the muscle car on the street at around 8 PM without headlights.

Snoop wasn't present -- but he still has to pay the piper, to the tune of at least $261 to liberate the whip.
