According to law enforcement sources ... Cindy -- the most downloaded woman on the Internet back when people used CompuServe -- was a passenger in her 2010 Lexus SLX when her driver rolled up to a DUI and driver's license checkpoint in L.A.

We're told her driver didn't have a valid license -- so cops issued the guy a citation and seized the car.

Cindy and her driver eventually found another way home -- and Cindy went to the impound lot the next day to pick up her car. But the incident didn't come cheap -- we're told Margolis had to fork over $246.35 in fees.

TMZ spoke to Cindy who told us, "[The cops] probably could have stopped my car from being towed from the location, but everyone was busy taking photos with me and asking for autographs."

McCord allegedly got into the accident last Tuesday with a guy named Aaron ... who tells TMZ the actress smacked into him while she was driving a Mini Cooper that belonged to her sister Angel.
In fact, Aaron says AnnaLynne accepted blame and was "very apologetic" at the scene.

That's why Aaron says he was shocked a few days later when he received a very angry phone call from Angel McCord -- who cussed him out for filing an insurance claim.

Aaron tells us he didn't get mad, he got even -- posting AnnaLynne's phone number on his Facebook page so his 361 friends could "call her and let her know what a deadbeat she is."

Sources close to Harvey Levin tell TMZ he was driving in Venice, CA when he was pulled over by police. We're told Levin was texting while driving -- a huge no-no in the state of California.

Levin was given a ticket and sent on his way.

But Sitch isn't rollin' alone ... his brother, Marc Sorrentino, got a slightly less-expensive 2008 Bentley.

Our Sitch sources say both cars were paid for through the brothers' company -- MPS Entertainment ... brokered by Andy Eminger from Celebrity Rental.

We're told the boys are getting the cars suped up with custom rims and sweet sound systems.

We're told a police officer watched as Sly failed to come to a complete standstill at a stop sign near the Bev Hills border ... then pulled the actor over -- and we're told that's when things got rocky.

According to sources, Sly vehemently "disagreed" with the officer's version of the events -- and was "less than cordial."

We're guessing all the talk didn't serve Stallone well -- according to our sources, the "Expendables" star got slapped with a citation.

But Lindsay wasn't hitting the club scene -- we're told she rolled over to the Venice area to pick up a friend ... and then went right back to her Hollywood home.

Lohan's license had been suspended -- and the actress rolled in today so she could apply to get it back.

Sources inside the DMV -- (yeah , we got those) -- tell us LiLo was "in and out within ten minutes."

The judge immediately suspended Michael's license for 6 months and warned that he could still face prison time over the matter ... because he already has a prior conviction for driving while stoned.

After his appearance, Michael was escorted to his waiting ride by British police in funny hats.

According to law enforcement sources, the singer was stopped at a DUI checkpoint near the Marina Del Rey section of L.A. when officers detected alcohol. We're told Evans was then arrested and booked on suspicion of DUI.

TMZ has learned ... the suspended JetBlue flight attendant's bike was stolen from his home in Belle Harbor in Queens, New York.

We're told Stevie chained his bike up at around midnight and discovered it missing when he woke up.

The front passenger wheel area is a total mess -- with serious cosmetic and functional tire damage ... which is why the car had to be towed from the scene.

As we first reported, Ice-T was pulled over on July 20 in New York City for allegedly not wearing a seat belt, and was then arrested after the computer discovered an "insurance lapse" from 2008.

But today, the case was dismissed after prosecutors decided to back down ... after Ice proved that he had insurance the entire time -- and also showed that the DMV did not properly update its records.

Yesterday, Kim rolled up to the Madison clothing store in Beverly Hills with some serious scrapes on the front of her ride ... and warned the valet parker, "It's gonna make a noise when you drive."

Sources close to Kim tell us it happened when Kim "hit a speed bump too hard" ... which screwed up a custom Platinum Motorsports kit she had installed on the front of the car.

Sources tell TMZ it happened at 8:35 PM in Malibu. Gibson, we're told, lost control of his car and ended up striking the rocky hillside on Malibu Canyon Road.

Gibson was driving a 2008 Maserati, which had to be towed from the scene.

Hours before the crash -- photogs shot footage of Gibson driving the Maserati around Malibu (see video above).

According to the CHP report, obtained by TMZ, "For unknown reasons, Mr. Gibson steered his car to the right and struck the rock hillside. He stopped his car at the scene and was contacted by officers from the West Valley CHP Area."

CHP Public Information Officer Leland Tang tells TMZ ... "Gibson told officers in the field he did not know how the car drifted out of the lane and into the hillside." Tang said his officers followed up by asking Gibson if he was on a cell phone and he said no. Tang adds officers also asked Gibson if he had dozed off "but he did not give a firm 'yes' or 'no'." Gibson just repeated several times, "I don't know how the car left the roadway."

The report goes on, "Mr. Gibson supplied all the pertinent information to the officers at the scene, gave a statement, and received a ride home from a friend."

Gibson was not hurt.

According to the report, "DUI is not suspected in the accident."

UPDATE: As for the curious statement in the report ... "For unknown reasons, Mr. Gibson steered his car to the right and struck the rock hillside." Tang tells TMZ his department was in no way trying to insinuate Gibson did it intentionally. Tang says, "It was totally an unintentional act." And Tang says no citation was issued and no charges will be filed.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ Alba was pulled over for speeding this AM in Beverly Hills -- and during the stop, we're told Alba blamed her lead foot on the nearby paparazzi.
