Christine McVie Legacy Celebrated ... Fleetwood Mac Pays Tribute

Christine McVie's life and legacy brought Fleetwood Mac together again to celebrate her memory.

McVie's service was held Monday night at Little Beach House Malibu -- and it was all about celebrating the life and career of the famed singer/songwriter and keyboardist.

Fleetwood Mac members Lindsey Buckingham, Mick Fleetwood, and Stevie Nicks, who called Christine her "best friend in the whole world" were spotted outside the event as they paid their respects and shared some of their favorite memories of McVie.

As we reported ... Christine died in November at 79 after a brief illness.

When she died, the group put a statement out saying, "There are no words to describe our sadness at the passing of Christine McVie. She was truly one-of-a-kind, special and talented beyond measure. She was the best musician anyone could have in their band and the best friend anyone could have in their life. We were so lucky to have a life with her. Individually and together, we cherished Christine deeply and are thankful for the amazing memories we have. She will be so very missed."

Christine joined Fleetwood Mac in 1970 ... 3 years after the group formed. She was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with the group in 1998.

Catherine Hicks '7th Heaven' Reboot Ain't Happening ... Times are Different!!!

NOT A CHANCE
TMZ.com

Catherine Hicks is shutting down any notion of a "7th Heaven" reunion, reboot or remake ... saying far too much has changed, and it just wouldn't be the same. Unless ...

We'll get to her one caveat, but when we caught up with Catherine in Bev Hills, we raised the issue of a possible second coming for her hit family drama.

She pretty quickly shot down any hope of it happening ... pointing to the fact the kids from the show have all grown up. She also made it clear she doesn't act anymore. Instead, she's focusing on being a mom in real life, not just one on screen.

As for her on-screen hubby, Stephen Collins, he'd definitely be out because he's "gone" ... as Catherine very gently put it.

Remember, TMZ got audio back in 2014 of Collins confessing to his then-wife Faye Grant he molested and/or exposed himself to 3 girls between the ages of 11 and 13. He ended up not being prosecuted due to the statute of limitations ... but his marriage went up in flames, and he fled Hollywood.

The last time we talked to Catherine, she talked about forgiveness and being open to the idea of a reunion with the disgraced actor -- but, now it sounds like all those ships have sailed for her.

LAMAR OPENS UP

As far as having a new cast recreate the series, she says there is a way to do it -- just one, and it would require the services of one specific person.

Guy Reuniting For New Edition Tour ... Count Keith Sweat in Too!!!

Teddy Riley and his Guy bandmates are getting back together for a classic R&B reunion that will take them on the road for what's shaping up to be one of 2023's biggest tours.

We're told it will be a full group reunion for Guy, with Teddy Riley, Aaron and Damion Hall all in, and they're relinking with New Edition is especially epic -- the 2 groups haven't toured together since 2016.

Guy was one of the hottest acts in the early '90s, selling millions of records, but more importantly, helping pioneer the "New Jack Swing" era that later set up hip hop culture to dominate down the line.

As if those 2 acts wouldn't be a big enough draw ... we're told R&B legends Keith Sweat and Tank will also be in the mix, cementing an era of R&B millions hold dear to their hearts. 💘

WE'RE BACK, JACK (SWING)
TMZ.com

TMZ Hip Hop recently spoke to Bobby Brown at LAX ... where he initially popped the lid on the tour, and told us why he and the rest of NE's bond will forever be strong.

We're told New Edition will be performing a host of new songs they didn't do on their last tour -- which previously ranked as one of Pollstar Awards Top 10 U.S. tours.

With this lineup, it's likely they can top that next year.

Lindsay Lohan I'm Game For 'Freaky Friday' Sequel ... Ball In Disney's Court?!?

Lindsay Lohan is down to film a sequel to "Freaky Friday" with Jamie Lee Curtis ... which means both the OG stars are on board if Disney wants to make a second movie.

Sources close to Lindsay tell TMZ … she'd be interested in a 'FF' sequel, but she hasn't heard anything from the Mouse House, at least not yet.

Jamie's been vocal recently about potentially making a sequel to her 2003 film with Lindsay ... she's mentioned the possibility at least twice during her media blitz for her new 'Halloween' movie.

JLC was on "The View" Monday and she gave her pitch to Disney ... she wants to be a grandma who switches places with Lindsay's parent character.

Our sources say Lindsay hasn't spoken to Jamie about doing a sequel ... but we're told she's heard rumblings about another installment of not only "Freaky Friday," but also "Mean Girls."

The ideas are being kicked around ... and Lindsay's game.

Stay tuned ...

'Zoey 101' Star Sean Flynn I'm Getting Married!!! Castmates Coming Too

'Zoey 101' star Sean Flynn is preparing to walk down the aisle ... and his wedding guest list includes a bunch of his old Nickelodeon castmates.

Sean tells TMZ ... he is tying the knot with his fiancée, Lyndsey, on Friday in Georgia and former 'Zoey 101' stars Chris Massey, Matt Underwood and Jack Salvatore are expected to be among the 158 guests.

The wedding is going down at a refurbished warehouse on Atlanta's west side, and Sean says he wishes he could have invited more of his Nickelodeon pals ... but his bride's family is pretty big.

Sean and Lyndsey actually met on Tinder way back in 2014, when they were both living in Los Angeles, but they've since moved to Georgia and she's got a lot of family coming to the wedding from New Orleans. Sean, meanwhile, says he's got a bunch of loved ones making the trek all the way from Israel.

He told us they're having a second line band at the ceremony -- keeping the NOLA vibes going for Lyndsey -- and guests will dine on serious southern comfort food ... including fried chicken, biscuits, mac and cheese and steak and pasta.

For Sean's side of the family ... well, they've got a rabbi officiating.

BTW, the couple's first dance will be to "You're Still the One" by Shania Twain.

Mazel Tov!!!

'Friends' Fountain and Original Stage Used for Reunion Nostalgia

'Friends' fans tuning in to the upcoming reunion special won't just see some familiar faces, they'll see familiar places too ... including the famous water fountain and original set.

Sources familiar with production tell us the reunion was shot over the span of 3 days at Warner Brothers Studios last week. We've obtained a photo from the lot showing bleachers and equipment set up around the fountain where the show's opening credits were shot.

Our sources say a live audience participated in the reunion, but it appeared they were mostly union extras, COVID screened and hired for the gig.

Production took things inside as well ... using the show's old stage to film parts of the reunion as well.

As for what was discussed in front of the cameras, that still remains a mystery ... but we know all of the show's stars -- Jennifer Aniston, Matthew Perry, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer and Matt LeBlanc -- participated.

In fact, Perry sent 'Friends' fans into a frenzy Saturday when he quickly posted then deleted a photo of himself in a makeup chair with the caption, "Seconds before eating a makeup brush. Not to mention reuniting with my Friends."

The special is set to air on HBO sometime in the next few months.

Matthew Perry Reveals 'Friends' Reunion's Filming ... Could You BE Anymore Excited?!?!

Matthew Perry let the cat out of the bag -- the highly anticipated "Friends" reunion is really happening ... and his now-deleted Instagram post proves it.

Perry shared a silly photo of himself in a makeup chair Friday night -- mouth slightly agape -- captioned ... "Seconds before eating a makeup brush. Not to mention reuniting with my Friends."

The post was quickly taken down, but the shot of Chandler Bing about to get back in action was enough to get "Friends" fans in a frenzy.

As you may know ... the OG cast's announcement of getting back together for a special was a HUGE deal in early 2020, but then the COVID-19 pandemic happened, causing a major delay in shooting the reunion.

Looks like nothing can stop it now, but fans will probably have to wait until it premieres on HBO Max before they get any more shots of the cast ... unless Rachel does something similar on her Instagram.

Will Smith, OG Aunt Viv Showed Growth During Reunion ... Says Aunt Viv #2!!!

REUNITED AT LAST
TMZ.com

When Will Smith and Janet Hubert, the OG Aunt Viv, squashed their beef on the "Fresh Prince" reunion ... it showed exactly how far they've evolved as individuals.

That's the deep analytical response from Daphne Maxwell Reid, who played v.2 Aunt Viv, and she tells TMZ ... her heart all but melted when Will and Janet buried the hatchet after not talking for nearly 27 years. Will and Janet came face-to-face during the "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" reunion that aired earlier this week ... and finally talked it all out.

Daphne clearly couldn't be more proud of Will, whom she says showed growth of spirit to essentially tell Janet ... he didn't know any better. Daphne, who had never met Janet until the reunion, commended Janet for apologizing and admitting she trash-talked him for years.

Remember ... Janet, who played Aunt Viv for the first 3 seasons of the hit sitcom, was open about her hatred toward Will and blamed him for getting fired. She said back in 2011 "there will never be a reunion ... as I will never do anything with an a**hole like Will Smith." Ouch.

But all of that's now water under the bridge ... not that Daphne had ANY clue about Will and Janet beefing during or even after the show ended in 1996 after 6 successful seasons. Daphne had other things to focus on ... specifically being thankful about having a job.

Ex-Creed Drummer Scott Phillips We're Talking About a Reunion!!! (Yay??? 🤷🏽‍♂️)

Here's a possible reunion nobody asked for, but some people will welcome with arms wide open -- Creed's having "some dialogue" about possibly making it happen.

Ex-Creed drummer Scott Phillips let the cat out of the bag, saying ... "We tend to check up on each other when it's birthdays and holidays, things like that. So, there has been some chatter, and there's no specific timetable for anything or no specific plans, but it's a possibility down the road."

Millennials rejoice!!???

Scott unexpectedly opened up putting the band together again when he was talking to Audio Ink Radio. They caught him by surprise by pointing out Creed had updated its social media account with a classic photo of the band. He suddenly found himself having to explain.

As true Creed fans know ... the band broke up first in 2004 and reunited for a fourth album in 2009. They kept rocking (debatable?) until 2012, but they've been on a hiatus ever since. Phillips -- along with ex-Creed guitarist Mark Tremonti and bassist Brian Marshall -- have continued performing together as members of the band Alter Bridge.

As for their former frontman ... Scott Stapp pursued a solo career after the band's first breakup and continued to fly solo until joining Art of Anarchy in 2016.

Creed, which sold nearly 30 million records in the U.S. and was the ninth best-selling group of the 2000s ... has been just as famous for its legions of haters as it is for its hit records.

Love 'em or hate 'em ... a Creed reunion could be a win-win for everyone!

'Mean Girls' Reunion It's October 3rd!!! One Month Left To Vote

October 3rd is "Mean Girls" Day and the stars of the movie are getting back together for a surprise virtual reunion ... and helping rock the vote.

Tina Fey, Rachel McAdams, Lindsay Lohan, Tim Meadows and Amanda Seyfried are among the cast members sitting down for the reunion, and they're reminding folks there's one month left to vote ... and the clock's ticking.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

Katie Couric joined the fun, moderating the reunion and filling in for Amy Poehler by dressing in character as Regina George's mom. Ya gotta see Katie nail a few of Mrs. George's famous lines.

Tina teased the reunion Friday in a special video encouraging folks to make sure they are registered to vote and to request a mail-in ballot. She also challenged fans to volunteer as poll workers.

Aside from voting, the 'Mean Girls' cast takes turns sharing their favorite memories from being on set, examining the teen comedy's pop culture impact and of course, dropping their character's famous movie quotes.

Check it out ... we gotta say it's pretty grool ... and fetch!!!

'Even Stevens' Ren and Beans Reunite!!!

Here's the "Even Stevens" reunion we've all been waiting for ... Ren Stevens is back, and she's bringing along her trusty sidekick Beans!!!

The "Even Stevens" reunion 17 years in the making went down on Christy Carlson Romano's YouTube series, "Christy's Kitchen Throwback," and she's got a lot of catching up to do with Steven Anthony Lawrence.

Steven, best known for playing fan-favorite and Shia LaBeouf's on-screen pal Beans, has largely remained out of the public eye since the hit Disney Channel show ended way back in 2003, and ya gotta see how Beans looks these days!

As you know, Steven's character was famous for his love of bacon on the show ... but he tells Christy he didn't eat bacon for 3 months after filming wrapped, and he even dealt with nightmares, cold sweats and traumatic experiences just from swine.

Fortunately, Steven's gotten over his bacon issues and is back to eating the best part of the pig. This is Beans we're talking about, after all!!!

It's pretty cool ... Steven also explains how Beans went from a potential one-episode guest star to a series regular and cult favorite ... who Christy credits with saving the show!

Christy and Steven also chop it up in the kitchen on potential future projects ... how does an "Even Stevens" spinoff sound?!?

If that's not enough ... wait till you hear Steven's pitch for Beans on 'The Bachelor.'

'Coming to America' Star John Amos No Call Yet for Sequel... Cleo McDowell's No More?!?

John Amos might not work with Eddie Murphy again ... but he's still holding out hope he can reprise his role as Prince Akeem's boss in the upcoming film, "Coming 2 America."

Sources close to John, who played Cleo McDowell in the original film, tell TMZ ... the veteran actor still hasn't been asked to bring the character back, but as he told us a few months ago, he'll jump at the opportunity if it comes his way.

Paramount reached out to his team back in February, but the movie studio has since gone radio silent. Wardrobe fittings for the film are already underway, which signals the storyline and the script could be nearing completion.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

Translation ... the tea leaves don't look good.

When we talked with John earlier this year, he told us he was craving the chance to play Mr. McDowell again ... and he had tons of ideas for the new movie.

Akon just told us he hopes Eddie casts real Africans in the sequel -- but John's holding out hope at least one more African-American actor makes the cut.

We are too!!!

Raz B I Don't Feel Safe on B2K Tour!!! But Show Must Go On

031319_raz_b_kal
FOCUSED ON TOUR
TMZ.com

Raz B says he's going to tough it out on the B2K reunion tour, despite fearing for his own safety ... and feeling less than appreciated by his group mates.

We got Raz in Brooklyn Wednesday afternoon -- ahead of B2K's show Thursday in Rochester, NY -- and the singer tells us he's no longer throwing in the towel, despite shocking fans by announcing he was quitting ... just a few days into the highly anticipated tour.

Something or someone changed his mind -- Raz says he's gonna continue touring with Omarion, Lil Fizz and J Boog ... but he still has a few demands, like beefing up his personal security.

As you know ... Raz ranted Tuesday night on IG, telling fans he was quitting and laying blame on the group's former manager, Chris Stokes, who Raz has accused of sexual abuse.

Translation: Chris is the reason Raz doesn't feel safe on tour.

The good news for B2K fans ... Raz says the group is getting along better now, and the tour is in full effect.

'Coming to America' Star John Amos Cleo McDowell's Hungry For Sequel ... Here's My Burger Pitch!!!

GOTTA BRING ME BACK
TMZ.com

John Amos is craving the opportunity to work with Eddie Murphy once again on the upcoming "Coming to America 2" ... and he's got a delicious reason why he should reprise his role as Prince Akeem's boss.

We spoke to John, who plays McDowell's owner Cleo McDowell in the OG film, after news broke Friday that Craig Brewer is coming on board to direct the sequel ... and John gives us his pitch for why he belongs in the reboot. Disclaimer: you might get hungry after listening to John's wild ideas.

It's interesting ... John tells us he hasn't been formally contacted to come back for seconds, even though Paramount Pictures is reportedly intent on bringing back the original cast, which includes Shari Headley, Arsenio Hall and James Earl Jones.

Watch ... John is bubbling with ideas for the sequel, if and when the producers hit his line.

Blink-182 No Reunion Set ... But, Some Good News For Travis Barker

Turn the lights off ... we're told the rumored Blink-182 reunion is NOT happening, despite some heavy social media speculation.

Drummer Travis Barker and former Blink singer/guitarist Tom DeLonge got the rumor mill turning Thursday with this playful Twitter exchange ... but sources close to the band tell us Travis and Tom were just trolling each other, and they don't wanna mislead their fans, who were all just unsuspecting victims for a few hours.

We're told Travis and Tom privately communicate all the time, and this was just fans seeing their relationship on social media.

There is some good news ... Travis has finally been medically cleared to drum after getting treatment for blood clots, and he'll perform with Blink on Oct. 26 and 27 in Vegas!

But, Tom won't be onstage ... it's still Travis, Mark Hoppus and Matt Skiba.

Hulk Hogan Reuniting With nWo 'We'd Murder The Shield!'

OLD GANG, NEW WORLD!
TMZSports.com

Hulk Hogan is bringing back one of the GREATEST wrestling factions of all time -- THE ORIGINAL NWO -- how sweet is that?!?

The WWE legend tells TMZ Sports it's been over 20 years since he terrorized opponents with Kevin Nash and Scott Hall ... but they've decided the time is right to get the band back together.

"Brother, I told you guys it was 4 LIFE!"

It's all going down on Oct. 27 at Mango's in Orlando where Hogan says the guys are hosting a major reunion event complete with a Q&A session for the hardcore nWo fans.

"It's been over 20 years and it's still the talk of the wrestling business," Hulk says.

So, how would nWo stack up against wrestling's new dominant trio, The Shield -- composed of WWE megastars Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose?!

"We would murder the bums, brother! We would kill em!"

"I used to wrestle with Roman Reigns' dad! You've seen pictures of me holding Roman Reigns as a baby, come on! We taught them ALMOST everything we know."

There's more ... We also asked Hulk to give the best nWo story in his vault -- it involves beer and trash talk.
