Kevin Maher has filed a lawsuit against the Simon & Schuster publishing company -- claiming they knowingly published false information about him in Staub's new tell-all, "The Naked Truth."

In the docs, filed last week in California, Maher claims S&S "failed to use reasonable care to determine the truth or falsity" of several statements that Staub makes about him in her book.

Among the statements that Maher is pissed about -- Staub claims he beat her up so badly, she had to be hospitalized for a concussion and "assorted contusions."

Maher tells us he's demanding $10 million to make things right.

Believe it or not, the 38-year-old table-flipper is hosting an "inspiring" two-hour Learning Annex seminar in Manhattan that promises to "get you going in the right direction" ... for a mere $58 a pop.

Never mind that Teresa's "direction" includes incurring nearly $11 million in debt, and filing for bankruptcy last year.

The man making the demands is Jay Photoglou -- who Rossi sued for defamation after he appeared on "Real Housewives of Orange County" and claimed they were dating while she was still engaged to another man.

A judge dismissed Rossi's claims -- and earlier this week, Jay filed docs in Orange County Superior Court demanding she pay for literally everything he had to go through during the case ... including:

-- $96.25 for parking fees
-- $289 in "milage fees"
-- $20.85 for a dinner meeting regarding the case
... and a mere $72,072.80 in legal fees.

All in all, Jay wants $85,864.08 for his troubles.

Here's the timeline: the photo was taken in Atlanta on November 7, outside the Georgia Dome. Two weeks later, Kim and baby daddy Kroy Biermann (who plays for the Atlanta Falcons) announced they were expecting.

In case you're thinking "Maybe Kim didn't know she was pregnant when she decided to smoke" -- well, think again. Kim told a tabloid this week she denied the pregnancy rumors in October because "[I] wasn't through my first trimester -- you never know what could happen."

We've been combing through court records, with certain limitations. We looked at lawsuits and bankruptcies since the shows started airing ... and all divorces, regardless of date.

-- DIVORCES: The ladies of "Real Housewives of Orange County" took top honors with 12.

-- LAWSUITS: It's a tie!!! The casts of "Real Housewives of Atlanta" and "Real Housewives of New Jersey" each have a total of 8.

-- BANKRUPTCIES: "Real Housewives of D.C." won with 2.

On a recent episode of "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," Camille obnoxiously complained that the three bedroom Manhattan apartment she shared with Kelsey (prior to their separation) was too small.

Well, now Kelsey and his young girlfriend, Kayte Walsh, are one-upping Camille by one room and moving on up to a bigger, four bedroom apartment in the sky.

Sheree hired a private investigator named Dwayne Alexander back in 2005 to dig up dirt on her then-husband, ex-NFL star Bob Whitfield -- but according to a court order obtained by TMZ ... she still owes him $28,858.93 for snooping services and interest.

Now, Alexander's gone way over her head to get the money, firing off a letter to Bravo -- the network behind "Housewives" -- claiming he plans to garnish Sheree's wages from the show to settle the debt once and for all.

The people behind the seizure are Whitfield's former divorce lawyer, who sued the reality star -- and won -- after she stiffed them out of more than $110,000 in legal fees.

A rep for the lawyer tells TMZ they still haven't received the money -- so this weekend, they had the local sheriff's department snatch the car up as payment.

So now Sheree's short one husband ... AND one Aston Martin.

Glanville was arrested at 12:05 AM by Beverly Hills PD. She was pulled over on Sunset Blvd. for an unknown traffic violation. According to law enforcement sources, officers detected the odor of alcohol and Glanville was given a field sobriety test. She was then arrested for suspicion of DUI.

A TMZ photog saw the whole thing go down just minutes ago -- as Danielle was served for a defamation lawsuit her ex-boyfriend Steve Zalewski is bringing against her.

Danielle was just starting down the red carpet at a Halloween event in Woodridge, NJ when the process server walked up with an envelope and said, "Here, Danielle ... you've been served."

Danielle was stunned, but didn't miss a beat -- she simply handed the envelope to her publicist and continued down the red carpet into the party.

We do not know the nature of her condition.

TMZ broke the story ... Gunvalson filed for divorce last week.

UPDATE: Sources tell TMZ Gunvalson is suffering from internal bleeding. She's being kept overnight for observation for upper G.I. problems.

The new cast of "Celebrity Apprentice" has only been together for 9 days -- but a diva has already emerged ... and sources tell TMZ, it's NeNe Leakes from "The Real Housewives of Atlanta."

According to our spies -- NeNe has already earned a reputation for being the "difficult one" ... after an incident over her makeup this weekend.

We're told NeNe threw a tantrum because she hated the way her makeup artists dolled her up for the opening interviews -- so the "Housewives" star made them start over ... but she still wasn't satisfied.

After two makeovers, NeNe ultimately called the makeup crew off -- grabbed some tools and did the whole thing by herself.

According to documents filed in O.C. Superior Court -- and obtained by TMZ -- Vicki filed for dissolution of marriage on Monday from her husband Donn Gunvalson ... whom she married back in 1994.

And there's this ... Vicki and Donn actually renewed their vows back in July of 2009 -- after Vicki admitted their marriage was souring and they needed a "new start."
