Adam Lambert's finally saying sayonara to his crib in the Hollywood Hills ... cause someone else will be idolizing it after plunking down a good chunk-o-change.

The 2009 "American Idol" runner-up just sold his 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom crib for $2.92 million. You'll recall the singer put the house up for sale back in August 2019 ... five years after originally buying it. He had no problem finding a new spot ... dropping $6.5 million for an awesome new pad with home theater and wine cellar.

Back to the Hollywood Hills crib ... it's a perfect contemporary blend of style and private oasis. It features city light views from the main level with a sliding glass wall. Big wine drinkers will love the floor-to-ceiling climate-controlled wine wall as well as a home theater and gym. The backyard's sick too ... with 2 reflecting pools and a 10-person spa and fire pit. Friends not included ... but with this backyard, it won't be hard to make some.

One of the rarest pieces of Freddie Mercury memorabilia is now up for sale ... and it's the only set list personally written by the Queen frontman to ever hit the market.

Freddie's handwritten list of Queen hits from a 1978 concert in Copenhagen, Denmark, is going up for sale through the memorabilia company, Moments in Time -- and they're hawking this rock 'n roll treasure for a hefty price tag of $35,000.

The 2-page set list from Queen's show used to belong to a private collector, but he or she's decided it's time to unload it.

Sure, the price tag sounds steep -- because it is -- but trust us, there's good content in here that's worth your hard-earned money. Freddie scribbled down the names of some of Queen's biggest hits, including "We Will Rock You," "Tie Your Mother Down" and "Bohemian Rhapsody."

Of course, the set list also comes with a letter of authenticity from the official Queen fan club.

It's funny ... the final note written at the bottom of the setlist reads, "Hotel!!" Guess Freddie was looking forward to tucking in -- or, more likely, partying like a rock star -- after the show.

Queen guitarist Brian May is here to make you super pumped about outer space and science, because he just dropped a theme song for NASA's New Horizons mission ... and it rocks!

Brian's famous for playing lead guitar for the classic rock band, but he's also an astrophysicist who's been working with NASA's New Horizons team as it sends a probe to the outer reaches of our solar system ... and he's combined his two passions to create a mission anthem that's cooler than Pluto!

Brian dropped the New Horizons tribute song on New Year's Eve, coinciding with the NASA spacecraft reaching Ultima Thule in the icy Kuiper belt ... and we gotta say, the track stacks up pretty well to Queen's soundtrack for "Flash Gordon."

As for the story behind the song ... Brian was reportedly reluctant to work his rock star magic when a New Horizons colleague asked him to write a song for the mission, because Brian felt it was almost impossible to rhyme with Ultima Thule.

Brian says he eventually started hearing music in his head sounding like "an object plummeting through space" and his creative juices started flowing and the song was born.

The guy who'll soon be playing Freddie Mercury in a theater near you honored the iconic singer in the best way possible on what would've been Freddie's 72nd birthday.

Rami Malek was with a crew of pals singing his heart out at Wednesday night's Queen concert in Las Vegas. Of course, Rami's playing Freddie in "Bohemian Rhapsody," and he gave us a little preview with the way he rocked out in his seat to "We Are the Champions."

Based on how into the show he was -- and how much he looks like Mercury on camera -- Rami might as well have hopped onstage himself to give Adam Lambert (Queen's current lead singer) a breather. The cast and crew were also spotted living it up at celeb hot spot Intrigue.

"Bohemian Rhapsody" drops later this fall, and it's already getting a ton of buzz for Rami's performance. Good to see he hasn't let go of the character even after filming.

Bryan Singer was shockingly candid and patient with our photog, who asked him a wide range of questions, from sexual assault allegations, to getting fired from "Bohemian Rhapsody" to allegations involving an actor he made famous -- Kevin Spacey.

We got Singer Thursday coming out of Mel's Drive-In in WeHo and started the conversation by asking about getting 86'd from the flick about Freddie Mercury and Queen. He says at first the firing had nothing to do with the various sexual assault allegations. He says he never got a straight answer from the studio, but a few minutes later certainly suggests the firing was connected to the allegations, saying the studio wouldn't offer a public explanation because "the reason would be, in my opinion, inaccurate and embarrassing."

As for Kevin Spacey, he says actor Gabriel Byrne is just dead wrong when he says "The Usual Suspects" was shut down for a time because of Spacey's behavior. But, when our photog asked if he'd work with Spacey again, Singer said it was a "loaded question."

Brian May from Queen has a stern warning for Donald Trump ... he's not their champion.

Trump's been using "We are the Champions" as his walk-out lately, and May grouses the Republican nominee has not asked for nor has he been given permission.

May adds the group is taking steps to stop Trump in his tracks from using the track, adding, "I will make sure we take what steps we can to dissociate ourselves from Donald Trump's unsavory campaign."

In fairness to Trump, May says "it has always been against our policy to allow Queen music to be used as a political campaigning tool."
