George Lopez is ditching his love affair with golf to stand in solidarity with DACA.

We got the comedian leaving the Laugh Factory Tuesday night in WeHo and asked him about Trump's first State of the Union address. GLo laughed it off, but then got serious about the DREAM Act -- which would allow undocumented children of immigrants to go to school, work and eventually become U.S. residents.

Seems like George had a few drinks before we got him, but it also seems like he's dead serious about the protest.

He's scheduled to host his 11th Annual Celebrity Golf Classic in May ... so, the clock's ticking.

Donald Trump used the State of the Union to take a not so thinly veiled shot at Colin Kaepernick and the NFL ... telling Americans they should all STAND for the national anthem.

Trump was praising 12-year-old Preston Sharp for putting flags on the graves of American military veterans when he pivoted and brought up the anthem.

"Preston’s reverence for those who have served our nation reminds us why we salute our flag, why we put our hands on our hearts for the pledge of allegiance and why we proudly STAND for the national anthem!"

The line drew a roar from the crowd. Trump smiled and pointed.

Of course, Trump's been on a tear against Colin and the NFL for months -- and previously said any player who takes a knee during the anthem should be punished by the league.

Stormy Daniels says she can't say it enough -- she never banged Donald Trump, but still ... she's saying it one more time with feeling.

Stormy issued a statement Tuesday, saying she and Trump denied the affair multiple times since it allegedly went down in 2006 ... and nothing's changed. She says, "I am not denying this affair because I was paid 'hush money' as has been reported in overseas owned tabloids. I am denying this affair because it never happened."

The "overseas owned tabloid" the ex-porn star's referring to is The Wall Street Journal, which reported the alleged $130,000 payment. We checked and it's still American-owned.

There's some buzz about Stormy's signature on the statement. It looks way different from a previous denial she issued. Despite the obvious difference ... her rep, Gina Rodriguez, tells us Stormy signed both letters.

Stormy claims she won't have any further comment about Trump. Why do we doubt that?

President Trump's cabinet members are yelling, "Not it!" That's basically what happens when the Prez is naming a designated survivor before the State of the Union ... according to former Chief of Staff Andy Card.

We got George W. Bush's ex right-hand man on Capitol Hill -- a few hours before Trump's big speech -- and asked him about how the designated survivor is selected. If you're unfamiliar, one cabinet member is always selected to watch the SOTU from an undisclosed location. It's a safety measure ... since the Prez, VP, all of Congress, and other cabinet members are all in one place.

Card told us -- after a Tom Brokaw cameo -- no one wants the gig, and they tend to put up a fight. That being said, someone's gotta do it, and he has an inkling about who will be the DS Tuesday night.

Transgender Army Staff Sergeant Patricia King has a seat for the State of the Union Address, and says she's going with an open mind, despite President Trump's attempted transgender ban in the military.

Sgt. King's been serving for 20 years, and will be Rep. Joe Kennedy's guest. Although Joe's delivering the Democratic response to Trump ... she tells us she's not taking sides.

The sarge insists she'll give the Prez the benefit of the doubt heading into his first State of the Union. Why so forgiving?

8:29 AM PT -- Pettersen is now claiming the Norwegian news outlet twisted her words from the interview ... and claims she NEVER called Trump a cheater.

"Sometimes you do interviews and media will twist whatever word/ saying to make a headline! It’s shocking to see... this is what I would call #fakenews."

She added, "Why would I call someone a cheat ... never!"

So far, the Norwegian outlet has NOT changed their article.

Donald Trump is being called out (kinda) by one of the best golfers on the planet -- who says POTUS "cheats like hell" every time they golf ... but insists she's got nothing but love for the guy.

Suzann Pettersen is a 15-time LPGA Tour champ -- she's a legend -- and she's been golfing with Trump for years.

So, when she sat down with the Norwegian newspaper, Verdens Gang, they wanted to know what Trump was like in real life.

"I’ve got to know Trump so well that I don’t take everything he says literally," Pettersen says ... "Yeah, you’ll never meet another person who loves himself as much as he does, but I have also met him on another level altogether, before he was president. I know how much he cares."

"He called me once a month and asked how things were going. It was always about golf. He is totally golf-crazed. Golf is the only thing the man thinks about."

So, how's Trump on the golf course?

"He cheats like hell," Pettersen said laughing ... "So I don’t quite know how he is in business."

"They say that if you cheat at golf, you cheat at business. I’m pretty sure he pays his caddie well, since no matter how far into the woods he hits the ball, it’s in the middle of the fairway when we get there."

"He always says he is the world’s best putter. But in all the times I’ve played him, he’s never come close to breaking 80."

"But what’s strange is that every time I talk to him he says he just golfed a 69, or that he set a new course record or won a club championship some place,."

Infighting at the White House ... and it's all over Super Bowl LII!

Don't worry, it's all in good fun -- but Kellyanne Conway says she's got an enemy at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. for the next week ... Trump's chief of staff, Gen. John Kelly!

Trump's been shaking the U.S. economy, first by pulling America out of the 12-nation Trans-Pacific Partnership negotiated under the Obama administration and now enforcing trade laws. The TTP is now an 11-nation pact that will be signed in March, without the U.S.

Stormy Daniels opened her big mouth -- about President Trump, that is -- and that proved to be her best career move, because she's now coming to a dance pole near you.

John Legend didn't hold back Sunday, saying Donald Trump's not the only racist in D.C. ... a bunch of Republicans are in his lily white boat.

John was strolling down a street at the Sundance Film Festival and he's praising Democrats for holding the line in the budget war that caused a government shutdown, saying they need to stand up to the man who referred to countries in Africa as well as Haiti as "shithole" countries.

In case you haven't heard -- especially from him -- Donald Trump's first year in office has been great for the stock market ... but 3 companies in particular have benefited bigly from their association with the Prez.

TMZ did some research, and found that the stock price of McDonald's -- which Trump loves to eat, Twitter -- which Trump loves to tweet, and KFC -- another fast food favorite ... have all seen huge gains since he became president on January 20, 2017.

Mickey D's has seen the biggest boost so far during Trump's time in office -- its stock has risen 44% over the past year.

Twitter's close behind with a 42% increase, and many argue the Prez's usage of the social media platform is keeping it in business.

Yum! Brands, which owns KFC, has also seen a substantial 29% increase.

As we reported, Trump's physical this week "went exceptionally well" ... but he did discuss dieting with his doctor.

President Trump could stand to lose 10 to 15 pounds and he needs medication to control his cholesterol ... this according to his physician.

Dr. Ronnie Jackson went into greater detail Tuesday with Trump's first presidential physical exam taken Friday at Walter Reed Medical Center in Bethesda. The doc initially said the exam "went exceptionally well," but cautioned there's room for improvement.

Jackson said Trump has a history of elevated cholesterol ... but he's taking Rx to control it. Jackson also said Trump's taking Propecia for his legendary and much maligned hair.

The doc said they talked about diet and exercise, but Trump was "more enthusiastic about the diet part."

Jackson also said the Prez does not wear dentures. As far as a psychological exam ... Jackson said the Prez did undergo a cognitive test per the Prez's request and the doc said he's all clear.

Rod Stewart's reaction to Dolores O'Riordan's death might not be the most sensitive, but it's definitely real ... and kinda dark.

Rod was leaving Il Piccolino Monday night in WeHo when we asked the British rocker if he knew The Cranberries singer who died suddenly in London. Rod said he didn't know Dolores personally, but he made it clear her passing, at only 46, has him pondering his own mortality.

Rev. Al Sharpton says President Trump is doing a horrible job of hiding who he really is ... a straight-up racist.

We got the Rev. at Reagan National Airport, and asked if he thought Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. would have had a sit-down with 45, given Trump's controversial track record on racial issues during his presidency.

Sharpton insists Trump's big on using photo ops to make it APPEAR like he's interested in the African-American community, and he's certain MLK would have seen right through that.
