Nick Jonas fans are about ready to yell "S.O.S." after seeing the pop star's seeming support of controversial tech giant Elon Musk ... with many expressing their disdain on social media.

Here's the skinny ... on Tuesday morning, Musk used a GIF of the Jonas Brothers turning tables to quite literally transmit his X caption, "My how the tables have turned" -- which appeared to be a response to Tesla's soaring success since Donald Trump's election victory.

Remember, many people warned EM his business would be tainted by publicly backing the now President-elect.

Flavor Flav made sure the final President Joe Biden-hosted White House Christmas Party went out with a bang -- spreading holiday cheer.

Kim Kardashian is earning props from New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy for her advocacy, which he says played a key role in his decision to release prisoner Dawn Jackson ... after she served 25 years for fatally stabbing a man she claimed was sexually abusing her.

Governor Murphy, who commuted Jackson’s 30-year sentence by 5 years, thanked Kim for bringing attention to the case ... explaining in an X post Monday that after reviewing the "unimaginable trauma and sexual abuse" Dawn faced, he felt her original sentence was way too harsh.

Murphy not only shared an article about Kim’s role in helping Dawn, he also highlighted that Dawn took responsibility for her actions and served her time without further incidents. He made it clear -- it was time for her to get the second chance she truly deserved.

12:05 PM PT -- Madison Police Chief Shon Barnes gave updates to the case this afternoon, and clarified a significant detail about the school shooting.

"Yesterday, after looking at the computer-aided dispatch system, it seems as if a call came from a second-grader -- it actually read, 'The call came from a second-grade teacher.' That was a mistake. That's my responsibility, and I apologize, and I clarify that today. It did not come from a second-grader -- it read 'second-grade teacher.'"

A 15-year-old girl has been identified as the Wisconsin school shooter who killed a student and a teacher and seriously injured several more people.

According to police, Natalie Rupnow died by suicide Monday after going on her terrifying shooting rampage at Abundant Life Christian School in Madison, WI, where she was also a student.

Madison Police Chief Shon Barnes announced at last night's press conference that Rupnow — who went by the name Samantha — was the assailant, which came as a total shock because of her age and gender.

President-elect Donald Trump is weighing in on Luigi Mangione and his fans in the wake of the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in New York City 2 weeks ago.

At a press conference Monday morning, Trump was asked what he thinks about the case, and the reaction to it -- including the adoration of many online for the suspected killer, Luigi Mangione, who was arrested in Pennsylvania last week.

Trump said ... "I think it's really terrible that some people seem to admire him, like him."

Donald Trump has thoughts on the increasing number of reports of mystery drones flying over the Northeastern U.S., claiming the government, the military -- and President Joe Biden -- know exactly what's going on.

Speaking at a press conference Monday, Trump explained the military knows exactly where the drones took off from, where they came from, and where they went -- but for some reason, they won't comment.

Trump said he didn’t believe the drones were from enemy forces, because they would have been blasted out of the sky by now. But, he made it clear that keeping people in suspense feels odd, suggesting there's something unusual going on as a reason they don't want to tell the public.

The recent rise of "mystery drones" seen in the sky over the Northeastern U.S. has escalated into a potential national security issue ... prompting a major U.S. Air Force base to close its airspace due to drone sightings in the area late Friday night into Saturday.

Airspace over Ohio's Wright-Patterson Air Force Base was off-limits for about four hours, according to an Air Force spokesperson, prompted by reported sightings. Authorities continue to monitor the situation.

In new audio obtained by TMZ ... the controller at the base is heard telling an airplane to divert its course -- "use extreme caution for heavy UAS movement on the base, security forces is handling the situation." The controller advises the base was keeping lights low so potential drones in the area would be visible. UAS refers to "unmanned aerial systems."

Donald Trump and ABC News have settled their defamation case ... with the media company agreeing to pay millions.

The mysterious drones that invaded New Jersey and have the state on edge are driving up some gun sales ... in addition to being a major topic of conversation in firearm shops, TMZ has learned.

Here's the deal ... over the past month, there've been hundreds of sightings of drones in the Jersey sky -- with some said to be as big as a car -- and it seems no one knows where they are coming from or their purpose.

Donald Trump is weighing in on the growing controversy over mystery drones flying across America ... and the president-elect says he wants to shoot the damn things out of the sky if the government doesn't start giving straight answers!

DT posted a message on his Truth Social platform Friday ... and in true Trump fashion he didn't mince words -- "Mystery Drone sightings all over the Country. Can this really be happening without our government’s knowledge. I don’t think so! Let the public know, and now. Otherwise, shoot them down!!!"

Some are worried the mysterious drones are up to no good, and they may be carrying hazardous materials, or could possibly take down airliners. They've reportedly been seen in several states, including New Jersey, New York, Maryland and Connecticut ... and possibly elsewhere.

Local politicians in New Jersey are irate with the federal government's response to their recent drone problem, with multiple lawmakers telling us they want the feds to act, and they're worried their constituents will take matters into their own hands -- which could be disastrous.

We spoke with NJ Assemblywoman Dawn Fantasia and Middletown Township Mayor Tony Perry about the hundreds of sightings of drones over multiple New Jersey counties in the past month ... and, in a nutshell, they say they need the federal government to act ... NOW!

Assemblywoman Fantasia tells us there has been basically no information about the unnerving situation provided by the federal government or state leaders ... and, there's even confusion on which agency is actually running the show.
