The Republican nominee for vice president was in Valdosta, Georgia for a rally Thursday ... and, he stopped by Holt's Sweet Shop, where he ordered 2 dozen donuts with a gaggle of press following him around.

Vance put in his order ... and, check out the clip, 'cause the woman at the counter immediately asks not to be shown on camera. Vance makes a point of telling the press to cut her out of their vids.

This is scary ... cops in Arizona are searching for a man they say threatened to kill Donald Trump, and police are scouring the border for him on the same day the former president is making a visit.

The Cochise County Sheriff's Office announced a manhunt Thursday for a 66-year-old man named Ronald Lee Syrvud, who law enforcement says is "being sought as an investigative lead for threats to kill a presidential candidate."

Cochise County includes Sierra Vista, Arizona ... where Trump is visiting the U.S.-Mexico border today to make remarks on what he calls "the plague of migrant crime."

The moment went down right before the Minnesota governor gave an impassioned, coach-esque speech at the event ... with a handful of former Mankato West High School athletes -- sporting jerseys and team merch -- walking out to a loud ovation.

As everyone knows by now, Walz was the former defensive coordinator at Mankato West ... and helped turn the organization around and win a state championship in 1999.
