The radio dispatch from the Artem Chigvintsev domestic violence case reveals ... he did indeed call 911 to request medical assistance, but then added his wife, Nikki Bella, had thrown shoes at him.

TMZ has obtained the dispatch call, in which the dispatcher says, "Initially came in as requesting medical, but now he is stating he got into an argument with his wife and his wife threw shoes at rp [reporting party]."

The dispatcher notes, "There is a child on scene. Medical en route," adding, "There's an active 415 [disturbing the peace] in the background responsible."

The alleged victim in the Artem Chigvintsev domestic violence case is cooperating with police ... and we're told investigators want to see if there's a history of domestic violence here.

A rep for the Napa County Sheriff's Office tells TMZ ... the alleged victim has so far been open to talking with investigators, and cops want more time to speak with the person about what happened.

Cops spoke to the alleged victim when officers arrived at the scene ... where they arrested the "Dancing With The Stars" pro for felony corporal injury to a spouse or cohabitant. We're told in order to make a felony arrest, the injury had to be visible.

We now know how the alarm was sounded when someone at Artem Chigvintsev's home called 911.

Sources connected to the investigation tell TMZ ... a call came in around 8:30 AM, reporting a "medical emergency" at the home. It's unclear who made the call.

A spokesperson clarified when the training kicked off, nobody was home. But, Doug showed up during the final training scenario, asked to join as a role-player, and got the green light. It was all voluntary.

The Davenport Police Department released body cam video of the Iowa police officer fatally shooting a dog in front of 2 kids, saying the cop's actions were lawful, but the pooch's owner has a very different take.

The PD released the footage Wednesday along with the shooting officer's report, which states the salivating dog aggressively confronted him, baring its teeth and repeatedly snapping at him. The video clearly shows the canine lunging toward the frightened officer, identified by Our Quad City News as Ethan Bock.

However, the dog's owner, Don Hesseltine, tells TMZ ... Bock should be criminally charged and tossed in jail for killing his beloved Myst.

Police in Burbank say they concluded an investigation into an incident where an L.A. City councilman claimed they dumped a homeless man in his backyard ... and cops say they didn't find any evidence of wrongdoing on their end.

Burbank PD just released a statement saying the man from the June incident was NOT homeless, as L.A. City councilman Paul Krekorian claimed.

Instead, police say the man has been renting a room in a house in Sylmar for years, and the guy asked the officers for a ride from Burbank to North Hollywood ... which is how he ended up on the street outside Krekorian's office.

The Iowa police officer who fatally shot a dog in front of the pup's owners and young kids killed another dog last month ... when he ran over the pooch with his police vehicle.

Body cam footage from the aftermath of the July 13 incident shows the officer, identified by Our Quad City News as Ethan Bock, walking over to a dog lying dead in an alleyway and admitting he ran over it with his car.

Bock utters "God dammit" and then radios in the incident, saying ... "Hey, I'm 10-2. Some frickin' dog just ran out here and I smoked it."

An Iowa police officer fatally shot a dog in front of the pet's owners and young children – but the question is whether the cop was justified to use deadly force.

The officer, identified by Our Quad City News as Ethan Bock, responded to a house in Davenport, IA, on the night of August 21 after receiving a report of 4 aggressive dogs trying to jump a fence to reach another pooch.

As Bock was investigating the call in an alley, he came upon one of the dogs dashing toward him from a yard outside the home.

This is sick ... disturbing video out of Florida appears to show a man physically abusing a dog and wielding a sharp object ... and now police are involved.

In the footage, posted to social media by Only in Dade, you see a man and a large dog on the balcony of a Miami high-rise ... and the guy appears to grab the pooch by the neck and head, shoving the poor pup's face toward the floor.

The dog here is clearly scared, and tries to get away from the man ... but he grabs the dog again, this time with what looks to be a knife in hand, and appears to strike the dog in the ribs multiple times.

The clip's a tough watch -- It shows Brandon Lena, in distress, walking around with a pistol outside his house near Tinker Air Force Base.

Despite officers’ efforts to calm things down, it escalates quickly, ending with Lena’s death in the street.

A federal judge is dismissing felony charges against 2 officers who got the warrant to enter Breonna Taylor's home ... with the judge blaming Breonna's boyfriend, and not the warrant, for causing her death.

Here's the deal ... in 2022, Detective Joshua Jaynes and Sgt. Kyle Meany were charged with submitting a false affidavit to search Taylor's home before the raid, and then creating a fake cover story to avoid responsibility after Taylor was killed during the raid.

They were also charged with felonies for using a dangerous weapon to deprive Breonna of her Fourth Amendment right to defend herself against unreasonable search.
