Carlee Russell Cops Clarify Details No Child Reported, She Walked Home

Cops are clarifying some things after Carlee Russell was recovered following a 48-hour period of her having gone missing ... and it sounds like they, too, have more questions.

Hoover PD issued a new statement with a handful of details they say they can elaborate on as the investigation continues -- the most important of which, it seems, is the fact that even now ... they say they haven't gotten any further reports about a wandering child.

Remember, this was at the crux of the case from the beginning -- Carlee called 911 on the night she disappeared ... telling dispatchers she saw a toddler walking by itself along a local highway at night, and reiterated that to family members as well before pulling over.

After that, she vanished ... only to turn up 3 days later, with not very many answers as to what happened to her -- other than her loved ones claiming she was kidnapped, that is.

There's more info HPD is relaying in their new remarks ... including the fact that they say there's residential surveillance footage that apparently shows Carlee walking down the sidewalk in her neighborhood alone -- this before she showed up to her parents' front door.

The police are also clarifying reports -- citing dispatch chatter that went over the airwaves -- of Carlee having been transported to a hospital in an unconscious state. They say that's not true ... all that happened is that somebody called 911 reporting she was unresponsive -- but they say she was, in fact, awake and speaking when paramedics actually arrived.

One last important detail ... HPD says it's waiting for Carlee to be made available for a follow-up interview, claiming they've only been able to obtain a preliminary statement from her.

On its face, it sounds like they're somewhat suspicious themselves about this whole thing -- which echoes the growing public sentiment at this point ... people are raising an eyebrow.

Thus far, her family members have stuck to the same story ... namely, that she escaped her abductors, and that she fought for her life. They've also scoffed at the notion that anybody would question what happened to her ... and yet, folks still have their doubts regardless.

John Amos Son Arrested For Terroristic Threats on Sister ... Family Feuds Over John

The son of "Good Times" star John Amos is behind bars for allegedly sending threatening texts -- including images of guns -- to John's daughter ... the latest chapter in a family war over the actor's health.

According to the docs, obtained by TMZ, John's son, K.C., was busted last weekend after his sister, Shannon, claimed he sent her a slew of concerning texts, which she says made her fear for her life.

Shannon told West Orange, NJ police her brother texted about his supposed gang affiliations, showing a handgun and a rifle. She claims he also sent her videos of him firing a handgun in an open field, and wrote, "Gonna sleep much better tonight big sis."

According to Robert Florida, a spokesperson for the Essex County Prosecutor's Office ... Shannon said K.C. suffers from bipolar disorder, which has led him to believe she hired someone to kill him -- and now she's worried he might retaliate.

As we reported, Shannon started a GoFundMe last month for her father John, claiming he's been the victim of elder abuse.

However, John told us his daughter's lying, and he's not sure why she started the fundraiser. GoFundMe scrubbed the page after the "Roots" actor declined the cash.

After that mess, Shannon said K.C. no longer has authority to make medical decisions for John -- and she's sent him a cease and desist letter regarding online comments he's made about her.

And FYI, K.C.'s been posting cryptic messages on his socials for a while -- one on his TikTok less than a week ago says, "Imagine calling the police #Swatting your own brother 24 times over the last 15 years & not one arrest."

Gilgo Beach Case Suspected Killer ... Didn't Put Up Fight During Arrest

We now know more about what happened when cops arrested the suspected Gilgo Beach serial killer -- we're told the guy didn't put up much of a fight.

Suffolk County Police Commissioner Rodney Harrison tells TMZ Rex Heuermann was taken into custody without issue .. and despite being suspected of committing heinous crimes, we're told Heuermann remained stoic throughout the process of his arrest.

Here's how it went down, per Harrison -- he says Heuermann was approached by detectives on the streets of NYC Friday ... who then told him he was under arrest. We're told Heuermann asked what for, and they told him it was for his alleged involvement in the Gilgo Beach murders from over a decade ago.

Harrison says Heuermann's response was interesting ... all he apparently said to the arresting officers was "I didn't do that" -- but we're told he did so in a very somber way. We're told he didn't shout or vehemently deny anything ... he just calmly said it wasn't him.

Harrison says they then threw on the bracelets, and that Heuermann didn't resist whatsoever -- he went peacefully and quietly with them. Commissioner Harrison tells us the detectives subsequently read him his Miranda Rights, and that he requested a lawyer.

Some believed his detainment was a bit more dramatic -- especially with footage that's been released showing police trailing him out and about -- however, it was anything but.

As we reported ... NY officials allege Heuermann is responsible for the 2010 deaths of Megan Waterman, Melissa Barthelmey and Amber Costello. Cops also suspect he may have murdered Marueen Brainard-Barnes -- the 4th victim -- but he hasn't been charged for that murder yet.

He's pled not guilty to all of the charges.

Tupac Shakur Cops Search Vegas-Area Home ... In Connection with Rapper's Murder

UPDATE

3:40 PM PT -- Pac's stepbrother, Mopreme, tells us, "I'm really not impressed with this late in the game effort. Though I appreciate it, it's late in the game. Las Vegas nor New York have done any significant investigation so far that we can see ... so everyone stay tuned, let's see what happens. I'm surprised like everyone else."

UPDATE

2:44 PM PT -- A rep for Tupac's sister, Set, tells us the family is learning of the developments along with the rest of the world ... saying, "We are learning about the case the same way you are and have nothing to say."

There's apparently some new life in the investigation into who killed legendary rapper Tupac Shakur ... as Las Vegas cops descended on a home in connection to the murder.

Detectives from the Las Vegas Metro PD served a search warrant Tuesday at a home in Henderson, Nevada ... about 20 miles away from the LV city limits. Cops were brief in the details surrounding the search, only adding it was, "part of the ongoing Tupac Shakur homicide investigation."

Law enforcement sources confirm to us the home was in the area of Interstate 11 and Wagon Wheel Drive but, as of now, no arrests have been made.

Pac died on September 13, 1996, after being shot multiple times just off the Las Vegas Strip.

The "All Eyez On Me" rapper's afterlife spawned one of the biggest-selling music careers, not to mention one of the biggest fandoms ... but his family just wants closure.

Wrestling Star Teddy Hart Arrested ... Allegedly Had Ecstasy, Steroids In Car

Independent wrestling star Teddy Hart -- the nephew of Bret Hart and Owen Hart -- was arrested last week after cops say he was in possession of ecstasy and steroids.

According to Titusville Police Department documents, obtained by TMZ Sports, the drugs were found in Teddy's rental car during a routine traffic stop on Friday in Titusville, Fla.

Cops say they initially pulled over the 43-year-old wrestler at around midnight ... after they say he ran a red light and traveled at a high rate of speed in a 2022 Mustang.

During the stop, though, police said they smelled an "overbearing odor of burnt marijuana emanating" from the vehicle ... and noticed "an unsealed medical marijuana container with a faded label inside of the glove compartment" as well as "several pieces of loose leaf marijuana shake" on one of the car's seats.

During an ensuing search of the car, cops said they found a baggie of red pills and a baggie of red powder that both tested positive for the presence of MDMA. They also said they found two small vials inside of a bag in the car that were labeled Masteron and Testosterone Cypionate -- which cops say are known anabolic steroids. Cops also claimed they found another baggie during the search that contained a blue powdery substance -- which they said also tested positive for MDMA.

Teddy -- real name Edward Annis -- was then arrested and booked on two felony charges ... possession of MDMA and possession of a controlled substance without prescription. Records show he was released from custody on Saturday.

This is far from the first time the wrestler has had trouble with the law ... he's been in and out of jail multiple times in the last few years -- including back in 2021, when he had also been accused of being in possession of controlled substances. In fact, Teddy has been arrested so many times over the years, a Twitter account called "Is Teddy Hart In Jail" was reportedly created to monitor his myriad legal issues.

Teddy -- the youngest person to ever sign a WWE developmental contract -- has wrestled for multiple orgs in his career ... including the WWE and Ring of Honor. He's spent most of the last decade, however, on the indie circuit.

Carlee Russell's parents are backing her boyfriend's claim she fought for her life to escape an alleged kidnapper -- but they're very tight-lipped over just about everything else.

Talitha Robinson-Russell and Carlos Russell sat with 'Today' to talk about the case -- which has been shrouded in mystery ... and which has come under public scrutiny due to the scant and inconsistent details following Carlee's 48-hour disappearance.

Despite the growing skepticism ... Carlee's family is standing firm she was abducted ... echoing her story she escaped her abductor.

Her parents say she was in a bad state when she arrived at their house Saturday night -- and she's disturbed by people questioning her honesty.

As far as any other details, however ... the Russells are refusing to elaborate, citing an ongoing investigation.

Some feel like the facts of the case aren't lining up ... not to mention the police apparently having left out some pertinent information in terms of what they knew about her recovery and when. As we reported, first responders were discussing Carlee possibly having been located at a local motel in town ... but in their statement, they totally omitted that.

There are also questions about this alleged child Carlee claimed to have seen on the side of a highway the night she vanished. Police say they received no other reports, besides the 911 call from Carlee, of a missing child.

So if there is, in fact, an abductor and a possible kid at risk -- why haven't the police issued any kind of alert to that effect? That's what people are asking.

Fair queries, and yet ... still not very many answers.

Adin Ross Unloads $5M L.A. Home ... Movin' Out After Swatting

YouTuber and live streamer Adin Ross has sold his beautiful L.A. home for a pretty penny ... this after his pad was repeatedly swatted.

The social media mogul unloaded the space for $4,999,999 -- he was originally asking just under $5.5 mil when he put it on the market back in March. He paid $5M last year, so he's probably losing a bit.

Before Adin moved in, it was home to the likes of NBA star Kelly Oubre Jr. and Charli D'Amelio's fam.

The pad is pretty sweet ... multiple fireplaces, a 3-car garage, a saltwater pool, and spa. It also has lots of privacy, backed up against a hill.

TMZ broke the story, Adin was the victim of repeat swatting pranks at the house. It got so bad, cops needed a workaround -- contacting his security team to confirm if the call was real or bogus before sending officers and choppers to the scene.

G Herbo Blown Turn Signal Led to Gun Bust ... Cops Say They Found Glock

G Herbo might not be facing a gun possession case right now, if it weren't for the simplest of traffic infractions ... at least, according to the cops who busted the "PTSD" rapper.

Chicago police tell us Herbo was pulled over in a vehicle that had failed to display a turn signal in traffic ... and it was during that July 9 stop that cops say they found a Glock 33 in the car.

We also got a hold of Herbo's latest mugshot, and he looks either perplexed or amused over the situation. Let's face it, having a perfectly good Sunday Funday ruined over jail time is guaranteed to dampen your mood.

As we previously reported, Herbo didn't spend long behind bars and was later released on bond.

He and his team are still mum about the arrest, but Herbo did make a lyrical statement this week via King Von's new posthumous "Grandson" album ... which features his blistering bars on the song "Real Oppy!!!"

Taylor Swift Exercise Your Franchise, People!!! Casts Vote in Nashville Election

Taylor Swift took a break from her Eras Tour to go out and vote in her hometown of Nashville ... and she's calling on her millions of fans to follow suit.

The pop star posted a message to her Instagram story Friday ... informing her Tennessee neighbors early voting for their city officials and some state seats had already begun. She also attached a photo of herself wearing a sticker that read, "I voted today."

Taylor continued, "We have the opportunity to choose those who will represent us for the next four years ... I urge each and every one of you to do the same and make your voice heard."

She ended by providing a link to her followers instructing them on how to get to the polls for early voting.

Politics has piqued Taylor's interest in the past. In 2018, Taylor endorsed Phil Bredesen, who was running for the Tennessee Senate seat as a Democrat, but he lost to Republican Marsha Blackburn.

The following year, Taylor penned a letter to Republican Tennessee Senator, Lamar Alexander, encouraging him to get behind the Equality Act, which prohibits discrimination based on gender and sexual orientation.

Even though the legislation had already been passed by the House of Representatives, a number of Republicans voiced their opposition to it.

Taylor has also tweeted about her views against racism and police brutality.

Senator Swift maybe? It's got a nice ring to it.

Robert De Niro's Grandson Woman Arrested in Connection with Leandro's Death

Cops have a woman in custody who they believe is directly tied to the overdose death of Robert De Niro's grandson, Leandro De Niro Rodriguez ... and TMZ has learned the feds are now on the case too.

Law enforcement sources tell us the 20-year-old woman was busted Thursday in NYC by a joint NYPD and federal task force -- and they believe she sold drugs to Leandro before his death ... which his mother has said was due to a fentanyl OD.

We're told the suspect is being processed at this moment, and we don't know yet what charges she will be facing.

As we reported, the 19-year-old was found dead inside an apartment on July 2. He had appeared in the 2018 film, "A Star is Born" ... playing the son of Bradley Cooper's best friend, George "Noodles" Stone, played by Dave Chappelle. Leandro also appeared in "Cabaret Maxime" in 2018.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ Leandro's death is being investigated as an overdose. We're told the teen was house-sitting, and both drugs and drug paraphernalia were found near his body.

While authorities have yet to release an official cause of death, his mother, Drena De Niro, said last week, "Someone sold him fentanyl laced pills that they knew were laced yet still sold them to him."

DRAKE'S DAD Reports DISTURBING Phone CALLS ... Police Launch Investigation

Drake's dad is apparently dealing with a scary situation at home ... police say they responded to Dennis Graham's place after he got some odd and disturbing phone calls late at night.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... someone called twice and texted Dennis over the course of 15 minutes Wednesday night, with the person on the other line allegedly rambling about Freemasonry and Dennis being Drake's dad, and that was enough to get cops involved.

Our sources say LAPD went to Dennis' estate after the alleged incident ... with cops taking an annoying phone calls report.

At this point, our sources say it's unclear who was contacting Dennis or what their motive was, but the case is under investigation.

There are a lot of fringe benefits that come with being Drake's pops -- like the Bentley his son once gave him on Father's Day -- but there are some headaches, too, for Dennis.

Thalia Chaverria, a 20-year-old, junior soccer player at New Mexico State University was found dead in her home earlier this week. Cops are investigating, but don't believe foul play was involved.

The Las Cruces Police Department was called to the New Mexico home of Chaverria, who hailed from Bakersfield, CA, around 7 AM Monday morning for an "unresponsive woman." When first responders arrived, Thalia was already deceased.

Police say they "have no reason to believe Chaverria’s death is suspicious or the result of criminal activity."

In the wake of the awful news, a Chaverria family friend has started a GoFundMe to help cover expenses related to the death.

Danilczyk then got naked and barged inside Harrah's Hotel and Casino, where he flaunted his genitals and danced on top of a poker table. Vegas cops wrestled Brian to the floor, arresting him for indecent exposure and disorderly conduct.

But his other half, Michele, placed blame for the crimes on someone else in a text message exchange with the New York Post. First, Michele described Brian as a "great person" who would never normally behave in such a way, insisting, "He is the victim."

Then Michele said the person who spiked her husband's drink is the real criminal, adding that Brian had a severe hallucinogenic reaction and has no recollection of what happened. She said they are working with doctors who have performed toxicology tests to determine the type of substance Brian consumed.

BTW, Metro PD says he's not in there by himself ... the guy yanked a woman into the room with him before things went south -- and now, he's shattered windows as he throws items out of his room ... which is on a high floor. One reported object that's come down is a chair.
