Former Playboy Playmates Karissa and Kristina Shannon were rushed to the hospital Monday after a horrific accident where Kristina rolled their SUV ... and then got arrested for DUI.

Sources close to the twins tell us they were on their way to get their nipples pierced (yes, really) when Kristina lost control of their G-Wagon in Beverly Hills. Karissa had to be pulled from the vehicle through the windshield and firefighters cut open the SUV's roof to rescue Kristina.

Law enforcement sources tell us the twins were taken to a local hospital for treatment. Amazingly, they made it out with just scratches and bruises. Kristina was cited for misdemeanor DUI while she was still in her hospital gown.

Sadly, getting wasted in public has kinda become the girls' thing lately.

Karlie Redd is taking the high road when it comes to stripping for cameras, opting for Playboy instead of porn.

TMZ broke the story ... Chloe Goins filed criminal charges against Cosby for an alleged 2008 incident at the Mansion ... where she claims Cosby was masturbating and sucking her toes.

Sources inside the Mansion tell TMZ ... Cosby's team reacted immediately -- asking if Hef's security team has any surveillance footage from the night of the party. We're told they also want names of employees and other guests who might be able to recall seeing Cosby and Goins.

And there's this -- in what seems like a preemptive move ... Cosby's attorneys are asking Hef if he's aware of any other Playboy models planning to come forward with similar allegations.

The lawyer who reps the woman who sued Bill Cosby for allegedly sexually assaulting her in 1974 has just tried correcting a huge problem ... he's taken Cosby's name out of the suit, but it's a ridiculous gesture.

Judy Huth's lawyer, Marc Strecker, filed the lawsuit last week and named Cosby as the defendant. Problem is ... under California law out of fairness, these suits require the lawyer NOT to name the defendant but to refer to him as John Doe.

The reason for the law ... so people aren't ruined by lawsuits that may turn out to be bogus.

So Strecker just re-filed the lawsuit swapping out Cosby's name with Doe. Obviously, he can't unring that bell.

Huth claims Cosby got her drunk and then took her to the Playboy Mansion in 1974 where he allegedly sexually assaulted her. It's pretty clear ... the statute of limitations has long run.

The LAPD investigation into alleged sexual assault at the Playboy Mansion by Bill Cosby is less than a day old, but cops already have their sights set on Hugh Hefner's estate for critical evidence.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... the first thing they need to determine is whether Cosby and his accuser -- who was 15 at the time -- were even at the mansion.

As TMZ first reported ... Judy Huth and her lawyer Gloria Allred went to LAPD Friday afternoon and filed a police report. As we previously reported, the LAPD will investigate even though it's pretty clear the statute of limitations has long ago run -- the alleged incident occurred in 1974.

Our sources say detectives are hoping Hefner's people will be helpful, but it's unclear how much can be documented from an event that went down 4 decades ago.

Cosby says Huth is a liar, who unsuccessfully tried selling her story to the tabloids ten years ago.

Cosby's lawyer also says her claim that she and Cosby played a beer game is absurd because Cosby is a lifelong non-drinker.

The LAPD is ready, willing and able to investigate sexual assault claims against Bill Cosby that allegedly occurred at the Playboy Mansion ... even though the incident is way past the statute of limitations.

As we previously reported ... a woman named Judy Huth sued Cosby Tuesday ... claiming Cosby got her drunk and then sexually assaulted her at Hefner's pad when she was 15 years old back in 1974.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... the Dept.'s position is that it has "an obligation to investigate all crimes when a victim comes forward."

According to one source, it would be irresponsible to reject an investigation based on the date of the crime, because cops say there are always twists and turns and one allegation can unearth another.

Our sources say by making it known they are investigating, other alleged victims may come forward.

That said, we're told Huth has NOT filed a criminal complaint with the LAPD.

Joanna Krupa has a totally different take on the hacked photos scandal -- she's NOT mad about the possibility of her personal pics leaking, and recommends celebs keep snapping whatever kinds of photos they want.

Our photog got Krupa -- whose name appears on the alleged "master list" of victims -- as she was leaving an Apple store, where she bought an external hard drive ... because she says she's done with the cloud.
