Before going live on one of the most-watched daytime talk shows, this curly girl was tearing it up in New Jersey. The former high school cheerleader was discovered while performing in her senior high school play, "The Ugly Duckling."

She's since had a stellar career that included a long run on "All My Children." She ultimately married her costar and they had 3 beautiful children. She's been the cohost of a syndicated morning talk show since 2001. She and her hubby started their own production company and in 2014 she was named one of the most powerful people in media.

Swedish-born Ann-Margret (real name Ann-Margret Olsson) shot to stardom in her early 20s after landing the role of the kissable Kim McAfee and delivers the pouty and iconic farewell song in the 1963 film adaptation of "Bye Bye Birdie."

Ann-Margaret was cast alongside other stars including Dick Van Dyke as the songwriting scientist, Albert Peterson, Jesse Pearson as the puckered-up pop star, Conrad Birdie ... and of course Bobby Rydell as the jealous hometown boyfriend and aggressor, Hugo Peabody.

The following year Ann-Margret was cast as the hip-swinging, hair-flipping Rusty Martin in the 1964 Elvis Presley masterpiece, "Viva Las Vegas."

Nice moment for Myles Garrett ... who flew to Dallas this weekend to surprise his great-great-grandmother at her 100th birthday party -- and the pics are adorable!

Obviously, the 23-year-old Cleveland Browns superstar is still serving his suspension from the helmet incident ... but the good news is it freed him up to participate in a special family moment.

So, while the rest of the Browns were in Cleveland to play the Bengals, Garrett was partying with Miss Minnie Bell Sanders ... who had no idea he was coming!

Family sources tell us ... Sanders was SOOOO excited to see Garrett at the party -- which was the talk of her senior facility!

We're told Myles stopped and took pics and signed autographs for everyone at the facility who recognized him (staffers and people visiting other residents) -- good times were had by all!

As for the party, Sanders got a special sash, crown and balloons -- and family members served her favorite foods ... catfish, mashed potatoes, cake and cupcakes!

Her father played in the National Football League for 9 seasons, including 8 years with the New York Giants, and she dated Jason Derulo for 3 years.

This brown-eyed kid would go on to become a teen idol and one of the best-selling music artists in the world, but before that ... he was just a Canadian kid growing up in Ontario.

Before he got discovered by his popular YouTube cover song videos, he learned how to play piano, guitar, drums and the trumpet and often busked in front of the Avon Theatre.

His cover songs are what caught the eye of a major talent manager in 2008 though, and before long he was signed with a record company ... and started collaborating with Usher!

While Edgar Winter played practically every available instrument on stage including guitar, synthesizer, keyboard, saxophone and even drums ... he wasn't alone in the music-making. Edgar also included artists like Chuck Ruff on backline percussions, Ronnie Montrose on the electric ax and Dan Hartman on the driving bass.

Edgar's brother Johnny Winter was also a famous musician and was put into the 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time list.

Other notable characters that Kerry shared the big screen with were Lady Reed as the go-to gal and pimp muscle, Queen Bee ... and D'Urville Martin as the club stealing gangster with guts, Willie Green.

Fun Fact: John Kerry was also in the 2009 blaxploitation film "Black Dynamite" as the Chief.

Before this hungry little guy would go on to become one of the most decorated swimmers of all time, he was just a kid enjoying chowing down in New York.

When he was 5, his family moved to Florida so his dad could coach swimming, and he was taught to swim by both parents ... though he spent more time misbehaving. That all changed when he lost at the Junior Olympics at age 14 and decided he wanted to become a champion.

The kid went on to swim at the University of Florida and was named NCAA Swimmer of the Year ... twice. While in college in 2004, he swam in his first Olympics and took home a team gold medal and an individual silver.

At the 2008 Summer Olympics, he won a bronze medal in his first event, but followed it up with a team gold and his first individual gold in the 200-meter backstroke ... for which he also broke a world record.

The swimming sensation would ultimately participate in 4 Summer Olympics, win 6 gold medals, 3 silver and 3 bronze, and set 2 world records ... though he might be remembered most for being involved in a bonehead scandal in 2016 in Brazil.

Regardless, he's still eyeing a spot on the 2020 Olympics team ... which could make for a nice redemption story. Jeah!
