Eagles fans lived up to their reputation Sunday night after the 40-22 Super Bowl drubbing of the Chiefs ... flooding the streets of Philly, and burning a Kermit the Frog stuffed animal, in a night filled with mayhem!

A video posted to X captured the not-so-Brotherly moment ... as fans, trolling Patrick Mahomes -- who threw 2 picks and badly struggled for most of the game -- lit fire to the Kermit doll.

As the beloved puppet burned, fans chanted, "F*** the Chiefs" ... celebrating the Birds' second Super Bowl win.

Michael Blackson's plans for this week completely changed in wake of the Eagles' Super Bowl win -- the diehard Philadelphia supporter says he's now on his way to the City of Brotherly Love to throw a wild championship party ... though it seems many Birds backers are already way ahead of him.

TMZ Sports caught up with the comedian out in New Orleans shortly after the Eagles wiped the floor of the Superdome with the Chiefs, 40-22 ... and he said he's already switched his flight from L.A. to Philly so he can properly celebrate the team's second-ever Lombardi Trophy.

Patrick Mahomes is well aware his performance did not meet expectations in the Super Bowl ... addressing Chiefs Kingdom and vowing to work hard to get back to the Big Game after losing to the Eagles.

The 29-year-old took to his X account Sunday night following the Eagles' 40-22 dismantling of the Chiefs ... with Mahomes taking time to thank fans for their support all season long.
