Peyton Manning Dresses Up As Santa ... Then Gets Ambushed W/ Snowballs From Watters

SLUGGIN' SANTA

Peyton Manning got to experience the "classic Philly welcome" as Santa Claus ... 'cause after he put on the red suit, he was hilariously pelted with snowballs from Ricky Watters -- and Matt Millen!

The Hall of Fame QB became the sitting duck for the holiday episode of "Peyton's Places" show on ESPN, where he's riding a firetruck inside the Lincoln Financial Field ahead of the Eagles' Christmas game.

Watters -- who played running back for Philly for two seasons -- and Millen, a former linebacker and executive in the NFL, are in the stands booing Manning ... and start hitting him with snowballs.

"Boo!! You're a lousy Santa Claus!" Millen yelled while throwing bombers at Peyton.

Of course, this is a remake of the 1968 Vikings vs. Eagles game on Christmas ... where the Philly fans started throwing snowballs at Santa Claus during the halftime show due to their team's poor performance and season.

The guy who dressed up as Santa, then 20-year-old Frank Olivo, says he was hit with more than 100 snowballs during his appearance.

Mind you, Olivo was picked out from the stands to play the role by the Eagles entertainer director, since a snowstorm the previous night kept the original Santa actor from getting to the game.

Hopefully, this doesn't happen during this Giants vs. Eagles game on Christmas.

Seahawks' Drew Lock Super Hyped After Game-Winning TD ... Drops F-Bombs

Drew Lock was rightfully feeling himself after leading the Seattle Seahawks to a comeback win over the Philadelphia Eagles on "Monday Night Football" ... turning up right in front of the cameras and appearing to let the expletives fly!!

The backup quarterback threw an absolute dime to Jaxon Smith-Njigba in the final minute of Seattle's 20-17 win ... and the guy couldn't contain his emotions as he celebrated the 29-yard tuddy.

"Put that f***ing s*** on, motherf***er!!" the lip readers over at The Sporting News believe Lock said during the broadcast ... although mics didn't exactly pick up the message.

Lock was filling in for starter Geno Smith, who has missed the past two games due to a groin injury.

Many didn't expect Lock to lead his team down the field to hand the Eagles their third-straight loss and fourth on the season ... and after the game, he gave an emotional interview on what the accomplishment meant to him.

"I'll remember that play call for the rest of my life," Lock said.

"It's so hard to describe the feeling of not playing for so long -- or at least what feels like a really long time to me -- and then you sit there and watch games, you wonder, 'Can I do this still?' I haven't been out there on the field. That's the human nature of it."

"You get back out there last week -- 'You know what? I'm the man, still. I can go do this,'" he continued. "And then you got another test this week where I didn't know if I was gonna play or not. Sure enough, ended up playing, we're playing the Eagles tonight. And the boys around me rallied tonight. And gosh, it feels so good. I'm so proud of everybody tonight."

Jalen Hurts Arrives In Seattle Despite Illness ... Expected To Play

Rejoice, Eagles fans ... Jalen Hurts has just arrived at Lumen Field despite dealing with a gnarly illness -- and, as of right now, the quarterback looks set to play in the pivotal game against the Seahawks.

Of course, about 24 hours ago, it was unclear if Philadelphians would see the sight -- because the signal-caller had reportedly been battling some bad flu-like symptoms last week that worsened overnight Saturday.

In fact, things apparently got so miserable for Hurts over the weekend, the Eagles officially downgraded his status for the Seattle game to "questionable."

However, Hurts eventually made his way to Washington on Sunday -- and on Monday afternoon, just a couple hours before "Monday Night Football" kickoff, he strolled into the stadium looking OK.

The 25-year-old rocked sunglasses and carried his own bags ... moving without any noticeable hitch in his gait.

The Eagles could certainly use his presence -- they need to keep winning if they want to hold off the Dallas Cowboys for the NFC East crown.

Monday's Eagles vs. Seahawks kickoff is slated for 5:15 PM PT ... and as it currently stands, Hurts will likely be under center for play No. 1 -- something Philly supporters will no doubt warmly welcome.

Kadarius Toney Penalty Impacted By 'Tush Push' ... Dean Blandino Says

121123_dean_blandino_kal
YOU HAVE TO LET OFFICIALS MAKE THE CALLS
TMZSports.com

If Chiefs fans are looking to blame anyone for the offensive offsides penalty that foiled their comeback attempt Sunday, it should be the Philadelphia Eagles ... so says Dean Blandino, who tells TMZ Sports their "Tush Push" play might have actually impacted the call during the Bills game.

The former NFL Vice President of Officiating said he believes refs are calling line of scrimmage fouls much more closely this year due to the nature of the Birds' "Brotherly Shove" play -- and that's leading to more calls like the one against Kadarius Toney at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday evening.

"You think about 2015 to 2022," Blandino said, "there were only 14 offensive offsides called in the entire league. This year already, with the Toney call, there's 13. So, it's definitely a point of emphasis this year."

That all being said, however, Blandino made it clear the flag against Toney was the right call.

"This was clearly a foul," he said. "The officials have to call it."

Of course, Patrick Mahomes vehemently disagreed -- he absolutely melted down after the flag was thrown ... calling it "f***ing terrible," while later explaining he wished the refs had just let it go.

Blandino said as a fan of the game, he understands the sentiment -- though he said that if refs call things differently based on the game's situation, it could have even more drastic implications.

"You say, 'Let the players decide the game,'" Blandino said. "The problem with that is you tell the officials that and then the officials say, 'K, we're not going to call anything in the last two minutes.'"

"The players, the coaches will understand that and say, 'Hey, we're going to get away with -- we're going to play more aggressive, we're going to push the envelope.' And then the game, it's going to be decided unfairly for a different reason."

Bottom line, Blandino emphasized the call just had to be made ... even if some Kansas City fans might never accept it.

Cowboys Vs. Eagles Fans Get In Wild Fistfight At Game

RIVALRY RUMBLE

UPDATE

10:02 AM PT -- A spokesperson for the Arlington Police Department tells TMZ Sports ... no arrests were made, explaining, "it does not appear either of the men involved or the vendor whose items were knocked over contacted us to file a report with us."

Two fans at the Cowboys vs. Eagles game got into a wild brawl ... and things turned so violent during the fight, the combatants almost destroyed thousands of dollars worth of memorabilia.

The scrap went down during the Cowboys' win over Philadelphia ... when a man wearing a Raiders Michael Crabtree jersey got into it with a Dallas fan.

It's unclear what started it all ... but video from the scene shows the two were throwing some serious haymakers at each other -- before they spilled into a pop-up shop full of rare, signed jerseys, photos and more.

Thankfully, while the two were going at it, none of the items appeared to be damaged.

The guys, however, continued to slug each other even after they moved on from the memorabilia tent ... punching each other in the face over and over again.

No word on if any arrests were made -- the footage of the tilt cut out before the fight concluded -- but it seems bystanders ultimately stepped in to calm things down.

As for the action on the field at AT&T Stadium -- there wasn't much of a fight there ... the Cowboys won by 20 in a game that never really felt close.

Cowboys Coach Mike McCarthy Undergoing Appendix Surgery ... Eagles Game Status In Question

The Dallas Cowboys might be without their head coach for their huge matchup with the Eagles this weekend ... 'cause the team says Mike McCarthy is slated to undergo surgery later Wednesday that could keep him from the sidelines on Sunday.

The Cowboys revealed McCarthy will have a procedure on his appendix after he was diagnosed with acute appendicitis following some abdominal pain he was suffering from earlier Wednesday morning.

The team says the 60-year-old is scheduled to be released from the hospital before sunrise Thursday ... and, somehow, he "anticipates coaching" against Philadelphia -- this despite kickoff being roughly 100 hours away.

While he's out, the Cowboys say their three coordinators will run team practices.

Of course, it'd be a big blow for the Cowboys if McCarthy cannot ultimately make it to AT&T Stadium ... because, after all, the contest is quite possibly the biggest regular season game the team has had in the last few years.

If Dallas wins, both teams will sit atop the NFC East with 10-3 records. If it loses, however, it will not only be two games behind Philly in the standings, it will also lose out in a tiebreaker scenario.

Kickoff is slated for 5:20 PM.

Bradley Cooper I'd Choose Eagles SB Win Over Oscars ... 'I'm Not Lying'

EASY CHOICE
The Howard Stern Show / SiriusXM

Bradley Cooper says he'd trade away not one, not two -- but THREE Oscars in 2024 if it meant Jalen Hurts and the Eagles were this season's Super Bowl champions instead.

The A-list actor -- whose Oscar-worthy film, "Maestro," is set to drop next month -- made the stunning claim to Howard Stern earlier this week ... after the radio host posed a "Sophie's Choice" style question on-air.

"I really want you to answer this in a serious manner," Stern said to Cooper. "You win the Oscar not only for Best Director [for 'Maestro'] but Best Actor, and Carey Mulligan wins Best Actress."

"Or," Stern continued, "the Eagles have a Super Bowl victory."

Without hesitation, Cooper said, "Eagles Super Bowl victory. Eagles."

"I know," he added while shaking his head. "I'm sick."

When Stern asked if Cooper was lying, he repeated that he truly wasn't fibbin'.

It's an eyebrow-raising statement, to say the least ... considering Cooper's never won an Academy Award despite being nominated nine times -- and the Eagles just won a ring in 2018 (which he got to witness in person).

But, Bradley was adamant he'd still take a title for his beloved team over some golden hardware for his mantle.

Of course, it really might not be farfetched to think Bradley was telling the truth ... after all, he's been seen at Philly games regularly this season, including on Sunday, when he went crazy celebrating their overtime win against the Bills.

The Birds still have a few months left to wrap everything up, but one thing's clear -- Cooper will be there rooting every step of the way ... maybe more so than anyone on the planet.

Bills' Shaq Lawson Apologizes For Shoving Eagles Fan ... Claims Man Made Death Threats

UPDATE

11:35 AM -- Shaq Lawson is apologizing for his role in the incident ... claiming he only took action after the man directed death threats at Bills players and their families.

"Those of you who know me know that I'm all about the fans, and I have a lot of respect for the game I play and my opponents," Lawson said on Monday. "Before the game started yesterday, there was a fan behind our bench, who was making life threatening remarks towards us and our families."

Lawson claims the players alerted stadium security about the situation, but the fan was not removed from his seat and continued to heckle their sidelines.

"Eventually, our emotions boiled over, and I made a mistake," Lawson added. "For that, I apologize, but there are certain lines that should not be crossed."

A confrontation between Bills players and one Eagles fan on Sunday grew so contentious ... it actually ended with Shaq Lawson shoving the Philadelphia supporter.

It all happened just before Philly beat the Bills at Lincoln Financial Field ... when a throng of Buffalo players got into a verbal argument with a man in the stands wearing an Eagles-colored beanie.

You can see in video shot by a bystander, Bills defensive lineman Jordan Phillips first got into the man's face ... while Lawson, Greg Rousseau and Ed Oliver joined in on the spat just steps behind.

The guys traded words for several moments ... when, suddenly, Lawson can be seen on the video putting his right arm on the man, jolting him backward. The parties, however, were quickly separated by stadium security after the shove.

Neither the Bills nor the NFL has publicly commented on the altercation.

Meanwhile, Buffalo fell to 6-6 with the overtime loss ... while the Eagles moved to a league-best 10-1.

Chiefs' Marquez Valdes-Scantling I Promise To Be Better ... After Game-Losing Drop

Marquez Valdes-Scantling is breaking his silence after dropping the potential game-winning touchdown pass on Monday night ... promising on Tuesday to "be better" -- while accepting criticism.

The Chiefs wide receiver took to his X page to deliver his first public thoughts since the game-altering play against the Eagles at Arrowhead Stadium ... and he made it clear, he's ready to deal with all of the fallout from not catching Patrick Mahomes' deep ball late in the fourth quarter of the key contest.

"I'm grateful, I'll be better," he wrote. "And I appreciate the criticism and the support."

"God put this on me because he knew I could handle it," he added. "Gratitude for everything that comes with it."

Of course, MVS was obviously having a hard time dealing with the misplay just minutes after it happened ... as cameras caught him slamming his helmet against a stadium wall.

The play would have given Kansas City a 24-21 lead -- and would've most likely led to the Chiefs earning the win and an 8-2 record. But, after the drop, they lost 21-17, and are now in danger of missing out on the No. 1 seed in the AFC.

Seems, though, Valdes-Scantling is ready to move on ... and, fortunately for him and all of Chiefs Kingdom, K.C. only has six days off before it hits the field again against the Raiders.

Travis Kelce To Jason Kelce Jokes About Chiefs' Loss ... 'That Was A Late Birthday Present For You'

Travis Kelce was able to have a little fun Monday night despite a crushing loss to the Eagles ... telling his big brother, Jason Kelce, the defeat was "a late birthday present" for the Philly star.

Travis shared the lighthearted moment with Jason just seconds after Philadelphia pulled off the 21-17 upset at Arrowhead Stadium ... roughly two weeks after Jason turned 36 years old.

"Love you, big guy," Travis said after throwing out the quip to the offensive lineman. "Get home safe."

Of course, Travis was anything but smiles just minutes earlier ... as he was one of the reasons Kansas City ended up falling in the contest.

Playing without his new girlfriend, Taylor Swift, in attendance ... Travis logged only 44 yards on seven catches -- and while he did score a touchdown, he had a critical fourth-quarter drop and fumble.

To make matters worse, the Eagles trolled him and Swift a bit after the L ... posting a green friendship bracelet on their X page with the caption, "In our winning era."

The loss marked the first time Travis has ever fallen to his big brother in an NFL game ... although, fortunately for the star tight end, the Chiefs are still very much alive in the race to make a deep postseason run.

And, with Philly at 9-1 and the Chiefs at 7-3, there seems to be a very good chance there's a Super rematch coming on the horizon.

TAYLOR SWIFT & TRAVIS KELCE PARENTS MEETING Now On Hold ... As Tay Makes Up Rio Show

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's parents are putting their plans to meet for the first time on the back burner, due to a change in the popstar's schedule.

As we expected, Taylor will not be able to attend the Chiefs vs. Eagles game Monday night, which is where the families were going to meet. Instead, she'll be performing the Rio de Janeiro concert that was originally scheduled for Saturday night ... the one she postponed for the "safety and well-being" of fans amid soaring temperatures.

The schedule shift means Taylor can't play "Meet the Fockers" in Kansas City, and sources familiar with the situation tell us it just didn't make sense for the parents to meet with Taylor absent and Travis busy on the field.

Remember, we were told last week the plan was for Andrea and Scott Swift and Donna and Ed Kelce to be under one roof at the same time. The plans weren't set in stone, perhaps because everyone realized Taylor's schedule could change.

It would have been a fitting family get-together with Travis's Chiefs, and his bro Jason Kelce's Eagles meeting in a Super Bowl rematch -- and, of course, the Eagles used to be Taylor's fave team and her dad's too. Both of their loyalty seems to be swaying now that she's dating Travis.

For now, the big family meet-up will have to wait. There's always the upcoming holiday season for them to make it happen.

Donna Kelce Surrounded By Cops In K.C. ... Huge Police Escort Ahead Of Chiefs Vs. Eagles Game

Donna Kelce is proving yet again she's just as big a celeb as her two NFL star sons ... receiving a police escort in Kansas City on Monday that included FOUR armed officers.

Jason and Travis' mom got the secret-service-like protection just hours before her two boys will square off at Arrowhead Stadium ... as she was doing some promo work at a nearby Raising Cane's restaurant.

Mama Kelce -- rockin' a half green, half red shirt to represent both her sons' teams -- was working the register and the drive-thru at the eatery ... before cops made sure she got out of the joint unscathed.

Donna, however, didn't appear nervous about the attention at all ... in fact, she was seen smiling and waving to a mob of fans -- all while flanked by policemen.

Of course, Donna has got to be used to all the love at this point ... 'cause after bursting onto the scene during last year's Super Bowl -- she's become an even bigger star following her elbow-rubbing sessions with Taylor Swift at Travis' Chiefs games this year.

Kickoff for the Jason vs. Travis game is in just a couple hours, and while Swift won't be there -- you can bet Donna's going to be getting plenty of camera time on the ESPN broadcast ... with or without a throng of security guards in tow.

Kansas City Chiefs Fans Line Up Hours Before Eagles Game ... Battle Near-Freezing Temps To Tailgate

It might be Monday morning, raining and nearly freezing in Kansas City ... but Chiefs fans are still pouring out in droves to support their team before their huge matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles.

According to reporters at Arrowhead Stadium, Patrick Mahomes fanatics showed up to the site of arguably the biggest game of the NFL's regular season some 12 hours before it began ... this despite it being a workday with some pretty crappy weather.

You can see in images taken by KCTV5's Nathan Brennan, a line of cars filled with Chiefs fans stretched all the way into the street outside the stadium -- even though it's about 40 degrees out.

Plenty more are expected to be on their way soon, too.

Of course, it's hard to blame them for the excitement ... after all, the "Monday Night Football" matchup features two of the best teams in the league -- and it's also a rematch of Super Bowl LVII.

The Chiefs are currently 2.5-point favorites ... though many believe the Eagles -- who are 8-1 this season -- are the better squad.

Kickoff is slated for 8:15 PM local time ... getcha popcorn -- and, for those in K.C., your umbrellas and mittens -- ready!!

TAYLOR SWIFT Y TRAVIS KELCE SE ESPERA QUE LOS PADRES SE REÚNAN PARA EL JUEGO DE LOS CHIEFS VS. EAGLES
