Joan Jett, Mayim Bialik Bet The Farm for a Meet-N-Greet ... Help Us Save Livestock!
Here's an odd pairing -- '80s rock stars, current TV stars and possibly you ... hooking up to protect farm animals. Any takers?
The celebs are auctioning off meet-and-greets to raise funds for a NY based nonprofit called Farm Sanctuary -- and they've got quite a stable of talent.
Joan Jett, Richard Marx and Mary Chapin Carpenter are on board -- along with Mayim Bialik from 'Big Bang Theory,' Emma Kenney from "Shameless" and "Downton Abbey" star Lesley Nicol.
The music stars are throwing in concert packages, and there's some other cool memorabilia up for auction, too -- like a Moby autographed guitar, and a Jason Mraz guitar string bracelet. Yup, that's a thing.
We're told everyone involved is seriously down for Farm Sanctuary's cause -- defending livestock from cruelty. Joan's even visited their shelter.
Old MacDonald would be proud!

Nick Cannon It's a Doggone World Because I Ain't Over Mariah
Mariah Carey is still Nick Cannon's dream girl ... at least she is in his latest music video, which features a diva doggie version of his ex.
Nick just dropped his Ncredible Gang vid for "Dream Girl" featuring Jeremih and Ty Money. We're told the song's definitely about Mariah -- Nick even sings "ain't over my ex."
Gotta love the concept -- Nick got adorable pooches to stand-in for the humans. Mimi, Nick and even their twins, Monroe and Moroccan, have doggie doppelgangers. Nick's is easy to spot -- he's the one in a turban. And watch for the Migos cameos as chihuahuas ... with locks!!
We'll say it ... this is bitchin'.

Chris Brown Chill Out ... Monkey Is Mine, Not Royalty's!!!
Chris Brown knows better than to give Royalty a pet monkey ... which is why he didn't.
Sources close to CB tell TMZ ... the baby capuchin monkey everyone saw his 3-year-old daughter cradling actually belongs to Chris. We're told he bought the exotic pet about 2 months ago ... and her name's Fiji.
As we reported ... Chris got skewered online for appearing to have bought Royalty the monkey ... with scores of fans saying the monkey posed a danger to Royalty, and belongs in the wild.
We're told Fiji's permanent address will be CB's crib, and that's the only place Royalty will get to see her. The monkey's not allowed to go to her mom, Nia Guzman's house. While that might ease safety concern's for Royalty, Fiji still won't be in the wild.
Our sources say Chris really wanted her because his idol Michael Jackson had Bubbles, the chimp. It was pretty obvious he was heading down this path when Chris flipped over one of Mally Mall's pet primates.

Carrie Fisher's Dog Gary Doesn't Just Heel, He Heals ... Says New Owner
Carrie Fisher's French bulldog, Gary, is more than a famous pooch looking to make a buck -- he's downright therapeutic for Carrie's throngs of fans ... and his new owner's seen it happen, firsthand.
We got Carrie's former assistant, Corby McCoin, leaving Basix Cafe in West Hollywood ... with Gary, of course. We asked her about the standoff with Disney and Carrie's family -- primarily her daughter Billie Lourd and ex-husband Bryan Lourd.
We broke the story ... Billie and Bryan think Gary's public appearances cheapen Carrie's legacy, and want Corby to keep Gary out of the spotlight.
Corby says she isn't in it for the money, but adds it's clear to her now ... Gary provides emotional support to fans who are missing Carrie.

Ellen DeGeneres New Carpinteria Home Under Threat of Wildfires
4:50 PM PT -- Rob Lowe has evacuated his home due to the Thomas Fire.
Ellen DeGeneres' new beach side house is now under threat of being scorched by SoCal wildfires ... and it sounds like she's starting to evacuate.
Our house is under threat of being burned. We just had to evacuate our pets. I’m praying for everyone in our community and thankful to all the incredible firefighters. The live stream is on https://t.co/FTcKVvHO16
@TheEllenShow
Ellen tweeted Sunday that she just had to evacuate her pets from her recently purchased beach house in Carpinteria, for which she plunked down $18.6 million in October.
It's unclear if Ellen herself is being ordered to leave, or if she's already left, but it sure seems like the flames near her -- now dubbed the Thomas Fire -- are starting to get too close for comfort. So far, it's reportedly burned at least 200,000 acres in the area.
The fire has also spread to Montecito, which is home to tons of celebs who could potentially end up being affected, such as Oprah, Jeff Bridges, Drew Barrymore, Rob Lowe, and Patrick Stewart ... just to name a few.
Looks like Ellen is already taking precautions. Our advice to everyone else ... get out.

Carrie Fisher Beloved Dog, Gary Caught in Emotional Tug of War
Carrie Fisher's French bulldog, Gary, is one of the most popular pooches on the planet, but his public appearances have upset Carrie's family ... TMZ has learned.
As you'll recall ... when Fisher died, Gary went to her assistant, Corby McCoin. There have been numerous stories out that Carrie's daughter, Billie Lourd has the pooch, but it's not true. Corby has had the dog since Carrie died.
Now here's the conflict -- Corby wants to take Gary to various functions, including ComicCons, where people can interact with Gary and somehow feel closer to Carrie. We're told people over at Lucasfilm contacted the folks at ComicCon and asked them to block the appearance, which they did.
There was another event last April in Orlando which held a "Star Wars" celebration. We're told Mark Hamill wanted Gary to come out on stage with him. We're told the P.R. Dept. for "Star Wars" shut it down because Billie didn't want it ... and there have been other failed attempts as well.
Sources connected to Billie tell TMZ ... she and her dad, CAA head Bryan Lourd, fully understand how much Gary meant to Carrie, but when she died Gary was really nothing more than a dog, and they didn't want the animal to define the memory of Carrie ... they felt it cheapened it.
We're also told Bryan asked Corby to delete Gary's Instagram, which has more than 160,000 followers ... again, because he feels it cheapens Carrie's legacy.
We're even told Bryan offered Corby $250 a month in return for not parading Gary around, possibly for money, but Corby declined.
We broke the story ... 'Last Jedi' director Rian Johnson says the upcoming film will pay homage to Fisher's beloved dog, so no matter what -- he's still got some time left in the limelight.

Chris Brown My Baby Girl's Monkeyin' Around!
Chris Brown could've done a puppy or kitten, but instead he went exotic for Royalty's early Christmas gift, and hooked her up with ... a brand new monkey!!!
Chris' daughter got cozy with her gift, cradling what looks like a baby capuchin monkey. Dad joked with Royalty that her new "baby" would get bigger than her -- which seems like maybe a good reason NOT to give her a monkey.
But for now, it is super cute ... especially when it's this tiny and in diapers.
Royalty seems stoked, but a lot of fans let Chris have it on social media -- pointing out the exotic pet is better off in the wild, instead of his home.

Lisa Vanderpump Doggy Fashion Lawsuit Tossed
Lisa Vanderpump's lawyers didn't screw the pooch on the lawsuit she was facing over doggy clothing -- it's been dropped for good.
The suit -- filed by dog boutique Fifi & Romeo against Lisa -- has been dismissed with prejudice, meaning they can't refile it. Looks like Lisa might have thrown them a bone, as in a few bucks, because F&R asked the court to toss the case.
We broke the story ... the boutique sued Lisa for allegedly failing to promote their company after they agreed to dress Giggy for events and photo shoots.
We've reached out to both Lisa and F&R to see if they did in fact reach a settlement. No word back from either side.

Olivia Munn's Dog Gets a Leg Up on Airport Greeter
4:30 PM PT -- Olivia is leaping to Chance's defense and says he was merely pulling the ole "scratch me on my leg" move.
"Chance, nooooooo!!!"
... Is what Olivia Munn probably should have shouted as her rescue dog greeted a greeter at LAX by marking his territory and peeing on her left leg.
Munn was flying out of the airport Wednesday for Thanksgiving with Chance and her other dog, Frankie. Clearly, one pooch is more of a bad boy (but they're both good boys).
Olivia didn't seem to notice and the LAX employees didn't seem to mind ... so airport crisis averted.
The actress and her pups strolled away afterward, all smiles.

Khalid Jumps Through Hoops To Adopt New Puppy
Khalid just got himself a new dog -- but the adoption was no walk in the park ... not even close.
Sources close to the adoption tell TMZ Khalid got put through the ringer Saturday -- with a 4-hour long interview and vetting process at L.A.'s Bark n' Bitches.
We're told BNB had the R&B singer fill out extensive paperwork and provide references to make sure he was up to the task -- considering he's only 19 and constantly touring the country. Lucky for Khalid, we're told his manager offered a glowing reference on the spot, and he was approved.
In the end, he walked out with a 9-week-old pit bull mix named Roxy. We're told his total cost was several hundred bucks ... including treats, tags, toys and a bed.
Puppy love ain't cheap or fast.

Verne Troyer Who's A Good Boy? You're No Dog Meat!
Every dog has its day, but it has a better day when Verne Troyer shows up with a bag of treats!
Verne visited the Animal Hope and Wellness Foundation Tuesday in Sherman Oaks. The place is awesome ... it rescues doggos from the Asian meat trade, and the ones in these pics just got flown in from Korea 24 hours earlier.
Verne greeted the pups -- including the ones nearly taller than him -- because his personal assistant volunteers at the rescue shelter. He didn't adopt one himself, but we're told Verne made sure they were all well fed.
So doggone great!

Mira Sorvino & Christopher Backus Son Gets $100k For Dog Bite Attack
Mira Sorvino and Christopher Backus' 11-year-old son just scored a big payday for suffering a traumatic dog attack when he was a young child.
According to new legal docs ... Mira took her son, Johnny Backus, with her to a house she was looking to buy on a night in September 2013 when the owner's dog went after him, biting and lacerating his legs and knees. Johnny -- who was 7 at the time -- had to be treated and stitched up at the hospital.
According to the docs ... Mira's son has recovered from the injuries but was left with some scarring. He was also traumatized and became fearful of dogs. His doctor says he's regained some confidence by being around his family's dogs.
Christopher sued for the dog bite attack on behalf of Johnny, and it's now been settled for $100k. After Johnny's medical and legal expenses it comes to $67k ... still pretty good for an 11-year-old.

Scumbag Australian Jockey Punches Horse In Stomach Gets 2-Week Suspension
Here's a disgusting video of a lowlife jockey socking a horse in the stomach before a race in Australia, and we're warning you, it's pretty tough to watch.
It went down in Port Lincoln, Australia when jockey Dylan Caboche got aggravated with his horse, pre-race dismounted and put a right uppercut to the animal's midsection.
What's worse it that you can see the scumbag Caboche was still holding his jockey whip in his hand, making the punch actually more of a jab with the end of the piece of equipment.
Caboche received a 2-week suspension for his actions, and while his horse Reneldasgirl seemed to be okay, but it's amazing that this type of animal abuse didn't warrant a more stiff penalty.
Disgusting.
A local jockey has been suspended for two weeks for punching his horse before a race in Port Lincoln. Details in 7 News at 6pm. pic.twitter.com/7pnpCY68CI

Sean Penn Rough Outside, Softy Inside Puppies & GFs Do That
Sean Penn's known for playing the bad boy, but his mushy side's a real thing too -- just add puppies and his gf, Leila George.
Sean and Leila were dog shopping Sunday in Louisiana at a local breeder who specializes in Goldendoodles and Retrievers. Cue the awwws.
The couple played with the pups for about an hour, and Sean got in plenty of cuddling -- but we don't know if the pooches moved the needle enough for him to purchase.
This is the first time we've seen Sean since he attempted to block Kate Del Castillo's Netflix documentary about El Chapo. We broke the story ... Sean was worried she'd implicate him as a snitch, and potentially put a target on his back.
The doc aired, but nothing eases fear like puppy love.
