Carrie Fisher Daughter Will Care for Beloved Dog Gary
Carrie Fisher's cherished dog -- a 4-year-old pooch named Gary -- will now be cared for by Carrie's daughter ... TMZ has learned.
Family friends are telling us Billie Lourd will take custody of the French bulldog, which was by Carrie's side on the plane from London to LAX when Carrie's heart stopped. The pooch also visited Carrie at UCLA Medical Center.
Billie already has a French bulldog named Tina, that's best friends with Gary. We're told she wants to make sure the 2 get along in the long term and she's able to handle the added responsibility.
A family source told TMZ, Carrie always wanted Billie to take Gary if something happened to her. If, for some reason, Billie can't care for Gary for the long haul, the dog will remain in the family.
The dog was like a child to Carrie, who carted her best friend almost everywhere she went ... even interviews.
Gary was adopted as a service pet to help Carrie with her bipolar disorder.
Saddest tweets to tweet. Mommy is gone. I love you @carrieffisher

Kelly Osbourne Get That Aggressive Pit Bull Off My Flight!!!
Kelly Osbourne claims a pit bull attacked her Pomeranian at LAX and it was therefore unfit to fly on the same plane with her dog ... but her complaint fell on deaf ears.
Kelly claimed the pit went after her pooch in an LAX parking lot, and coincidentally the owner of the other dog was on the same flight to NYC as Kelly, and she wanted to bring the dog.
We're told JetBlue did a once-over on the pit bull -- a 1-year-old rescue with service dog credentials -- and determined it was safe to board.
The owner and pit bull were seated about 10 rows behind Kelly and there was no further incident.
In the end, the Pomeranian -- which was not hurt -- won. It flew first class.

Anna Faris Coughs Up $5k in Lost Chihuahua Caper
Anna Faris paid thousands of bucks as a penalty for giving the family dog away.
Anna sent a $5,000 check to Kinder4Rescue earlier this month for giving away Pete the Chihuahua she shared with hubby Chris Pratt ... without notifying the rescue org.
Pete apparently escaped or was thrown out of his adoptive home and surfaced on the streets looking like skin and bones.
A microchip led Kinder4Rescue back to Anna, and the org demanded the $5k penalty she agreed to pay if she gave the dog away without prior notification.
Pete's still hangin' at Kinder4Rescue ... in search of a new home.

Tennessee Wildfire Massive Bald Eagle Evacuation Underway at Dollywood
9:55 AM PST -- Dolly just released a statement on the fire, saying, "I am praying for all the families affected by the fire and the firefighters who are working so hard to keep everyone safe. It is a blessing that my Dollywood theme park, the DreamMore Resort and so many businesses in Pigeon Forge have been spared."
Dolly Parton's Dollywood is under siege from wildfires which have triggered a rescue mission for several bald eagles inside one of the theme park's sanctuaries.
Dollywood, which is near the fires raging in Gatlinburg, TN, is also home to the American Eagle Foundation -- a group dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating birds of prey. The group shelters nearly a dozen bald eagles, and we're told staffers rounded up 50 of the birds Monday night.
We're told there are still a handful left to be captured and moved. The foundation's President, Al Cecere, tells TMZ the sanctuary's location puts the birds at serious risk for smoke inhalation. They'll remain at a nearby convention center until the air is clear and the park is safe.
Dollywood evacuated guests Monday, but so far firefighters have kept the flames at bay.

Ace of Diamonds Strip Club County Gave Us a Monkey Spanking Thanks to Mally Mall
WARNING STRIP CLUB BALLERS: Another Mally Mall-like stunt could mean curtains for your favorite Ace of Diamonds dancers.
The L.A. County Dept. of Public Health tells TMZ it issued an official warning to the popular strip joint to never allow animals inside, EXCEPT for service animals and police dogs accompanied by law enforcement. If it happens again, AoD could be shut down.
The ultimatum came after Mally hit the club with a capuchin monkey as his wingman. We're told Health Dept. inspectors paid the club a visit, and didn't find anything fishy. They did leave a bunch of "No Animals" stickers.
No offense to the average strip club patron, of course..

Anna Faris $5k Fine After Adopted Pooch Found On the Streets
Anna Faris owes an animal shelter $5,000 for breaking a signed adoption agreement ... according to the shelter, which says her Chihuahua was found homeless and in bad shape.
Kinder4Rescue owner Laurel Kinder tells TMZ ... Faris signed a contract when she adopted the dog, named Pete, 4 years ago agreeing to pay the fine if she ever turned it over to a new owner. The rule was created so they could always keep track of where the animal ends up.
The North Hollywood shelter says it got a call Friday from a nearby vet saying someone had found Pete emaciated, wandering the street. When the vet ran his microchip, Kinder4Rescue and Faris' names came up. Faris hasn't answered the shelter's calls.
We spoke to sources connected to Anna and Chris Pratt and they say the couple is out of state, but they've gotten wind that Pete was found, and intend to make arrangements for the dog to be brought home. We were also told they had found a "nice family home" for Pete.
It's unclear if that new home was temporary or permanent.
As of now, Kinder is putting Anna on its do-not-adopt list. Anna will have to prove she's been actively looking for Pete to get out of the fine.
Kinder is also thinking of suing for breach of contract.

Cara Delevingne You Got a Cute Dead Dog Here, I Painted a Picture of Him
Cara Delevingne was devastated when her dog died 2 years ago ... and didn't look much happier this week when she got a postmortem print of the pup.
Artist Andrew Gonzalez gave Cara a digitally made portrait of her French Bulldog, Mouse, this past Thursday -- where he's seen on a cloud with a pair of wings ... eating bacon.
Gonzalez had given Cara a portrait of herself in 2014, right around the time Mouse passed. This time, he says security let him hand the newest one off to her personally before the opening of the Westfield World Trade Center H&M store in NYC.
He says Cara almost broke out in tears, telling him she'd hang it up at home -- and thanking him with a hug. From the looks of her face, though, we're guessing she was less excited than last time.

Anthony Bourdain Bites Back at Dog Meat Heckler with Perfect Comeback
Anthony Bourdain shut down a protester accusing him of eating dog meat in the most Bourdain way possible.
Anthony was in the middle of his live show, "The Hunger," earlier this week in San Francisco when the woman charged the stage. AB was just trying to do a little promotion for his new book, 'Appetites' ... co-authored with Laurie Woolever -- but the protester had other plans.
For some reason she was convinced he enjoys a fine cut of Fido, but the audience had Bourdain's back -- not that he needed it ... his puppy-related rebuttal is hysterical.
We got Anthony the next day and he reiterated -- he's never had a bite of man's best friend. As for the puppy line ... obviously a joke too. Hecklers beware!

'Criminal Minds' Ex-Exec My Pooch Didn't Bite Your Caboose ... It Was Just a Scratch!!!
An ex-showrunner over at "Criminal Minds" has a situation on his hands that's less feet-kicking-legs and more teeth-biting-ass ... according to an alleged victim.
Construction worker Timothy Swing tells us he was working this week at the home of former "Criminal Minds" executive producer Edward Bernero when 1 of Ed's 3 Dobermans sank its teeth into his right butt cheek.
Tim says he got a tetanus shot at urgent care, and Edward offered him $3k to make the whole thing go away.
Here's the problem ... Tim says he was poised to rake in almost $13k from the 5 month gig before getting chomped on day 2 ... and Ed never made good on the payment.
Ed has a very different story. He says Tim called the dogs over and started playing with 1 before another jumped on him from behind and scratched him -- that's it. Ed says he felt bad and wanted to help with the bill, until Tim demanded $3k.
Meanwhile, Tim tells us Ed has reached out and offered him some cash ... in return for a promise not to sue.

ABC News Sued You Jacked My Fat Cat And It's Gonna Cost You a Chunk!
ABC News lifted a photo of NYC's fattest cat and posted it without permission ... according to the photographer who's now suing the network.
Stephen Yang is a professional photog who typically licenses his pics, but in his lawsuit he says ABC News used his shot of Samson -- dubbed the largest cat in NYC at 28 pounds -- and never paid him a dime.
According to the docs ... Samson got famous for his size, and also because his owner, Jonathan Zurbel, takes the enormous pussycat all over Brooklyn in a pet stroller. So hipster.
Yang says all that attention is why ABC News posted its story on Aug. 12th with his jacked photo. The story's been shared more than 900 times on Facebook, and Yang is suing for a cut of ABC's profits.
We've reached out to the network, so far no word back.

L.A. County's Dept. of Public Health confirms it's investigating Ace of Diamonds for possible violations after it got wind of Mally Mall bringing his capuchin monkey to the joint Monday night.
Official safety codes prohibit live animals inside any food facility except if it's a service animal or police dog. The owner of AoD's building has a license to serve food ... although AoD doesn't serve grub.
We've reached out to the club, but no word back yet.
For his part, Mally Mall thought Bubbs was a huge hit at the club ... as he told us on "TMZ Live."

The Game was also taking in the action at AoD, without a primate, but you can see ... he still did alright.

Mark Harmon Hey Pooch ... Take a Bite Out of Crime ... Not the Crew!!!
'NCIS' star Mark Harmon has a dog that attacked a crew member on set, but the dog has a pretty solid defense.
Sources connected with production tell TMZ, Harmon's dog is a 3-year-old pit bull mix that he rescued as a pup. His name is Dave.
Mark frequently brought Dave to the set, which was a dog-friendly environment. Other cast and crew members brought their dogs as well.
We're told a week ago one of the crew members was roughhousing with Dave ... something he did a lot, when the pooch became scared and attacked.
Our sources say the crew member needed 16 stitches to close the wounds, but returned to the set and is fine.
As for Dave, he hasn't been back to the set, but he's fine and, as we said, has a plausible defense.
