At least, that's the case for Conor McGregor ... who got a sweet surprise after earning the top spot on Forbes' annual list of the World's Highest-Paid Athletes this week!!

Conor showed off a custom cake and some gold balloons that he was gifted for raking in a reported $180 MILLION this past year ... and the UFC superstar was clearly stoked about it!

McGregor posed for pics with it all ... holding a pair of balloons that read "#1" and "PROUD OF YOU."

The cake was pretty cool too ... it featured Conor on the cover of Forbes -- with some chocolate and strawberries!!

And, yes, there were bottles of Proper 12 involved.

The only downside of it all for the 32-year-old fighter? He says he couldn't take a bite of the cake because "I am making weight" for his upcoming July fight with Dustin Poirier.

Trey Lance will DEFINITELY be poppin' bottles for his 21st birthday this week -- 'cause E-40 just gifted the new 49ers rookie QB with a TON of his signature booze!!!

FYI -- the Bay Area rapper is a HUGE Niners fan, and was stoked when S.F. selected the former North Dakota State star with the 3rd overall pick in last month's draft.

So much so, in honor of Lance joining the squad -- and to celebrate his 21st birthday on Sunday -- E-40 hooked him up ... BAY STYLE!!!

TMZ Sports has learned the 53-year-old delivered NINE bottles of his own booze to the new S.F. rookie -- including 3 bottles of his E. Cuarenta tequila, 3 bottles of his Earl Stevens Selections Wine and 3 bottles of his Tycoon Cognac.

As for why 3 each ... we're told the number just felt right given Lance was the #3 overall pick.

E-40 even wrote a personalized note to Lance to pair with the drinks ... writing to the rookie, "Welcome to the Bay and happy birthday King."

"Know this is a big moment for you, so wanted to send over some bottles from my brands for you and your family to celebrate!"

"Best of luck this season. Go Niners!"

Gov. Phil Murphy wants to see 4.7 million NJ residents vaccinated by the end of June, and he's offering liquid encouragement to get it done -- and, not shockingly, he says his plan's working, so far.

Murphy joined "TMZ Live" Tuesday to tout "Operation Jersey Summer" ... his campaign to help the state reach its vaccination goal. There's a long list of initiatives but he says the one getting all the buzz, pun intended, is the shot and free beer program.

The Gov. says that with the Garden State having one of the strongest and fastest-growing craft beer industries, it only made sense to incentivize residents with a free beer at any of the nearly 50 participating breweries ... IF they can prove they got vaccinated in May.

It's that simple ... and Murphy says so far the program's a hit with the young crowd, which he hopes will keep the state's rate of vaccination going in the right direction. He added that even though infection rates are dropping, and more people are getting out and about in warmer weather ... he doesn't want residents getting complacent.

That being said, Murphy does have one dispute with the shot and beer program. Watch the clip ... he was joking, but there's some potential for version 2.0 of "Operation Jersey Summer." Just sayin, Gov!!!

Meek Mill's inviting just about everyone to celebrate his 34th birthday in the 305 ... but the club hosting the bash says Tekashi 6ix9ine is persona non grata.

Meek's just hours away from kicking off his so-called 'Meekend' with a huge birthday soiree Friday night at LIV Nightclub in Miami -- and party organizers are prepared to stop Tekashi, who's also in South Florida, if he tries to reheat his old beef with Meek.

The folks at LIV are all too familiar with Tekashi's rep as an instigator, which is why a source at the club tells us if he and his team show up, they'll be booted before they can get inside the bash.

As we reported, the last time Meek and Tekashi were in Miami they came within an inch of trading blows. Meek had just left KOMODO and was getting into his car when Tekashi appeared and started talking smack.

Things got pretty tense ... and Tekashi at least made it look like he wanted to lunge at Meek. Y'know ... the ol' "hold me back" routine.

Chris Brown threw an enormous soiree to celebrate his birthday ... but things got so out of hand cops stepped in and pulled the plug.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... LAPD received multiple calls about loud music and cars double-parked all over Chris' neighborhood in the San Fernando Valley. He turned 32 on Cinco de Mayo but neighbors apparently reached a boiling point in the wee hours of the morning.

We're told cops showed up to the crib Thursday around 2 AM and talked to CB's security. Our sources say the music was turned down but that also spelled the end of the shindig ... which cops estimated had between 400 and 500 guests in attendance.

As you can see from the video ... LAPD showed up in force, with squad cars all over the place directing a massive traffic jam as limos and fancy cars zig-zagged their way out. We're told parking tickets were also issued to improperly parked cars.

You can see a helicopter also hovered above the area ... even more noise for those sleepy neighbors. Cops are all too familiar with CB's crib. In fact ... our sources say 4 police cars and a supervisor were sent over given the troubled history surrounding the pad.

As we've reported ... cops did a welfare check after Chris posted his address on social media during his February 2019 beef with Offset. Cops were also called after CB threw a massive yard sale at his pad back in November 2019.

Kylie Jenner made a big gesture for her baby daddy, Travis Scott -- flying across the country to be by his side as he celebrates his birthday.

She zipped over to Miami Sunday, and joined Trav for a group dinner at Komodo. Our sources tell us they rolled through with their entourage and security detail ... and broke bread at a private table.

She was on hand for the post-dinner clubbing too, and didn't try to hide her appearance either.

In fact, she captured some flirtatious horseplay between them both ... which, at first glance, suggests something's up.

On her IG Story, Kylie recorded Travis dancing up near her ... and her playing footsie with him. He dished out some affection too, grabbing a hold of Kylie's leg and giving her several love taps.

You could see all this and think ... yeah, they're fully back together. Or it could all be friendly -- it's hard to really say at this point.

Chris Hemsworth threw one helluva soiree down under ... and got his pals like Matt Damon to dress right white for the occasion.

The "Thor" star and wife Elsa Pataky showed off what looked like an incredible shindig Sunday in Australia's hot town of Byron Bay. The star-studded affair was a white-themed party, so everyone showed up in their best duds.

That included Matt, who showed up in a white hoodie and white jeans. Matt's in Australia filming alongside Chris in the new 'Thor' film.

Chris' other famous brother, Liam, was also there ... in tow with his model GF, Gabriella Brooks. Elsa posted video of her and Chris arriving at the party busting moves as they walked into the bash. She captioned the video, "With those dance moves how could I say no! #whiteparty."

The Melbourne folk band The Teskey Brothers provided the night's entertainment.

Chris' other brother, Luke, also showed. Ditto Luke's wife, Samantha and Matt's wife, Luciana Barroso. It should come as no surprise an invite was extended to his personal trainer, Luke Zocchi. Chris' stunt double, Bobby Holland Hanton, also hit up the party.

Kamaru Usman was ready to party his face off after practically knocking Jorge Masvidal's face into space during UFC 261 ... and he did that and then some at a post-fight rager.

The Nigerian mixed martial artist swung by Myth Night Club late Saturday night after beating the brakes off Masvidal at the nearby VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, FL ... and club-goers were definitely ready to embrace the welterweight champ.

Usman was dressed to impress as well ... rocking a clean suit and some shades. He was ready to boogie too -- the guy didn't shy away from the dance floor, or the DJ booth.

We're hearing Usman showed up near closing time ... when DeeJay Capone was still blasting music. After the normies were kicked out -- an after-party proceeded ... which is what you see here in the video of the event we obtained. Looks like a good time was had by all.

The man had every reason to celebrate ... this after knocking out Masvidal cold with a clean, hard punch to the jaw. The KO went down in the second round, about a minute or so in.

Masvidal was actually laughing at Usman seconds before he got his clock cleaned ... and the crowd was absolutely stunned at how it all unfolded.

The undefeated YouTuber-turned-boxing superstar hosted his closest friends -- and really anyone else looking to party -- for a big shindig at Gianni Versace's famed former digs in Miami on Sunday night ... and it looked like a damn circus!!

The official afterparty was thrown by Michael Mak -- founder of Celebrity Sports Entertainment -- and there were some big time celebs in the house ... including Cuba Gooding Jr., Logan Paul, Larsa Pippen and Brandon Marshall.

There was a red carpet, an endless supply of booze, music and even the Problem Bot (Jake's robo mascot) made an appearance.

On top of that, there was a boxing ring set up inside the mansion -- we're guessing for party purposes, not fighting.

Jake even hopped on the mic at one point and started rapping along to Drake songs ... before performing one of his originals.

Of course, Jake's been on Cloud 9 since destroying the former MMA champ and Olympic wrestler in the ring at the Triller Fight Club in ATL on Saturday night ... and considering the fight only lasted 2 minutes, he didn't need much time to recover.

The 24-year-old rightfully enjoyed his big win with back-to-back nights of celebrating ... and there's no end in sight.

One of Colton Underwood's first orders of business as a new openly gay man was to hit the town and dip his toe into the scene -- but it looks like he got distracted along the way.

The former 'Bachelor' -- who just came out publicly last week -- went to a gay bar in Denver Sunday ... a place called Charlie's, which seems like a pretty happening place complete with a dance floor, private booths and bumpin' music.

All that was in full flex while Colton was there ... but based on these pics and video we got of him there, dude was more interested in his phone, at least for part of the night.

Anyway, eyewitnesses tell us CU was at Charlie's with his friend, and mentor of sorts, Gus Kenworthy. The Olympic skier's kinda showing Colton the ropes in the community ... and will be featured on Colton's Netflix docuseries.

Pharrell Williams now has his very own hotel where you let the good times roll -- and that's exactly what Hollywood's finest flew out to do ... with some of the biggest names in tow.

The singer/producer was on hand Friday in Miami with his biz partner, David Grutman, for the launch of their joint venture ... a little place they call the Goodtime Hotel, which is right by the beach.

It's been a long time in the making, but it officially opened for the weekend -- and not a moment too soon either ... Florida was already pretty open, but the flood gates for normalcy are just about at full capacity lately, and you could tell by the atmosphere.

Folks were out and about partying it up for the celebration ... including some major A-listers, like Kim K, Chris Rock, Vanessa Hudgens, Rick Ross, Bad Bunny, Cuba Gooding Jr., Maluma, Victoria Beckham and more.

Speaking of VB, word is the hotel launch was actually meant to be in conjunction with David Beckham's season opener for his Inter Miami CF pro soccer team. He's pretty tight with Grutman and co., so they threw down in honor of both momentous milestones.

It's been a while since we've seen so many stars come together like this -- of course, the vaccine rollout is in full flux ... so we might have to get used to this sorta sight again.

Arnold Schwarzenegger opened up his L.A. mansion to some combat sports legends -- Mike Tyson and Henry Cejudo -- and even let 'em swing around his legendary "Conan" sword!

Mike and Henry flew in on Tuesday to shoot an episode of Mike's "Hotboxin" podcast -- and Arnold couldn't have been a better host!

He played some chess with Mike. He let Cejudo flex with his famous bodybuilding statue.

And, after they left Arnold's home -- Mike and Henry decided to play a little golf at another location while Mike puffed away on a big ol' joint.

What a fun day!

Afterward, Cejudo -- one of the greatest UFC fighters ever -- thanked Arnold for welcoming him into his home.

"It’s an [honor] to be invited to the man’s house who’s cut from the same cloth as me," Cejudo posted.

"[Arnold], you are The American Dream."

There are pics of Mike Tyson and Arnold hanging out together from way back in the '80s -- but it's unclear if they were friends or just friendly ... considering they were both mega-stars back then and probably ran into each other at events.

Things are getting back to normal -- look no further than celeb hotspot The Nice Guy as Kendall, Kylie, Drake, Justin Bieber and more were all together under the same roof again.

It looked like a scene straight out of 2019, with expensive cars on the curb, flashing camera bulbs and some of the most famous celebs on the planet gathering Thursday in West Hollywood.

Inside, Kendall -- who was joined by her NBA superstar bf Devin Booker -- poured shots of her new 818 tequila from behind the bar ... it appears the A-listers had the whole place rented out for themselves.

Chris Brown, Tyga, MGK, Megan Fox and Drake were there too, in fact, Drake had such a good time, he wanted to take it with him, leaving Nice Guy with a drink in hand.

Tom Brady admits he REGRETS drunkenly throwing the Lombardi Trophy from boat to boat during that legendary floating Super Bowl parade

... but hey, things happen when you're completely sloshed!

"First of all, there was not a lot going through my mind at that point," Brady told Michael Strahan on 'GMA.'

Remember, Tom and the rest of the Tampa Bay Bucs hit the Hillsborough River back in February to celebrate their Super Bowl LV victory over the K.C. Chiefs.

The booze started flowing ... and the QB started throwin' (trophies).

"I mean, that was not smart for a couple of reasons," a sobered up Brady says.

"One is, if we drop it, that's a little bit of a problem. But, the worst thing that could happen is the edges on that trophy are so sharp -- and had those things clipped one of my boys in the other boat, it would have been an ugly, ugly parade."

He's right -- but fortunately, his sure-handed teammates caught the trophy with no problems.

Brady says of the event, "From what I remember, yes it was pretty cool."

During his interview with 'GMA,' Brady also opened up about why he wants to continue playing the NFL.

Remember, in the wake of winning his 7th title, Gisele had asked him, "What more do you have to prove?"

"I don't think proving it for me is the motivation," 43-year-old Tom told Strahan ... "I still want to play, I got like a little sickness in me that just wants to throw a frickin' spiral, you know what I mean?"

"Once you stop you can't go back and do it, I got some more football [left in me] I mean not a lot, and I know that, but what I got left, I'm gonna go I'm gonna give everything I got."

Baylor fans partied HARD after their men's basketball team blew out Gonzaga ... setting couches on fire in the streets and letting off fireworks -- and video from the scene is WILD!!!

Just minutes after the Bears took down the Zags, 86-70, to win the NCAA Tournament in Indianapolis on Monday night ... it didn't take Baylor's students long to celebrate.

Those who watched the game at McClane Stadium on campus stormed the field in epic fashion ... and then they took to the roadways near the school.

Later, they lit LEGIT fireworks -- and cheered like crazy when the explosions popped off above!!

As for their safety ... don't worry -- reporters on the scene said the Waco Fire Dept. was there to take care of any out-of-control blazes, while police officers monitored the situation as well.

Meanwhile, inside the arena, the players danced their faces off ... and Baylor's most famous football alum, Robert Griffin III, cheered from the stands too!!!

BTW -- if you're in the "Act like you've been there before crowd" ... might be time to dip out of that one -- 'cause the men's hoops championship Monday night is the first in school history.

You wouldn't know COVID is out of control in Europe and, in particular, Spain, looking at this concert Saturday night with thousands of folks packed into a concert hall.

To be specific ... 5,000 fans showed up in Barcelona for the biggest commercial event in all of Europe since the pandemic exploded more than a year ago.

The fans came to see Love of Lesbian, and there were some precautions, as in masks. As for social distancing ... not so much. Concertgoers did get tested Saturday AM. The way it worked ... if they tested negative, they got a code on their cellphones which they then presented at the door.

The event had the seal of approval from Spanish Health authorities, along with folks from the Fight AIDS and Infectious Diseases Foundation.
