The Weeknd was all about Selena Gomez's public cuddling ... until he noticed paparazzi watching.

Paps got the couple Tuesday showing some extreme PDA while strolling around Buenos Aires before Abel's gig later this week.

He seems down with her clinging onto him ... but watch what happens when he sees the camera guy across the street.

Dave Chappelle flexed his biceps in front of some huge stars at his Monday night concert.

Kanye, Kendall Jenner, Don Cheadle and Stevie Wonder were all front and center to watch Dave perform at The Peppermint Club.

On his way out Dave used his muscles to help a pap who ate it hard on the sidewalk.

BTW ... Dave's 2 new stand-up specials dropped on Netflix Tuesday. Soooo ... go peep that.

Ben Affleck was just like every other Los Angeleno Sunday trying to get around the L.A. Marathon, so of course ... he asked the paparazzi for directions.

The actor was out with his kids in the Pacific Palisades, when he realized he'd have to cross San Vicente Blvd. to head south ... but couldn't, 'cause it's part of the race course.

Who needs GPS when you've got eager paps standing by, and the exchange between them and Ben couldn't be more of a Southern Californian moment.

Kathy Hilton has some words of regret for falsely impregnating Jennifer Aniston.

Kim Richards and Kathy were out Wednesday night at Craig's with Kyle Richards and Kris Jenner ... along with a sea of paps.

Kathy -- who turned 58 and was out celebrating her birthday -- eats crow after her cake for the Jen tweet.

Louis Tomlinson did more than scrap with a paparazzo -- he also slugged the female witness square in the eye ... according to her.

Ana Becerra gave her side of the airport brawl, claiming she became a victim when Louis' gf went on the attack. She claims Louis jumped in to break things up, and she was shocked when he popped her in the face.

Becerra showed her injuries, allegedly from the fight and says she's planning to sue based on one simple principle -- men shouldn't hit women.

We broke the story ... Louis got into it with a paparazzo who was shooting the 1Der's gf, and then fought off Becerra -- who admits she too was shooting video with her phone.

Louis was arrested for battery and his case is in the hands of the L.A. City Attorney.

The paparazzo who Louis Tomlinson allegedly attacked has gloated that he sometimes berates celebrities and then watches them unravel on camera.

Karl Larsen -- the photog who says Louis smashed his head on the floor at LAX Friday -- went on 'Howard Stern' back in 2010 and boasted about his super aggressive tactics ... in particular his confrontation with Mel Gibson. At the beginning you hear Larsen say, "We're gonna be rich."

Larsen told Stern ... he sometimes lets celebs "dig their own hole."

Gloria Allred tells TMZ she now reps Larsen, though she wouldn't disclose the nature of the representation. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out a civil suit is on the horizon.

As we reported, Tomlinson was arrested and we're told the cops are going to refer the misdemeanor battery investigation to the L.A. City Attorney for possible prosecution.

As for Larsen, he made a name for himself shooting the now-famous photo of Paris Hilton being returned to jail after her DUI/probation violation case back in 2007.

Louis' team tells TMZ, "The paparazzi provoked and caused the altercation that occurred with louis. It's not the first time that a paparazzi has created an altercation with a celebrity. While the altercation was going on with the paparazzi, three other individuals were attacking his girlfriend during this incident and he came to her defense."

Louis Tomlinson wanted a photog out of his face at LAX, and the altercation ended with the photog smashing his head on the floor and Louis ended up in cuffs.

It went down Friday night at LAX baggage claim. We're told the 25-year-old singer was with his girlfriend and the photog was too close for Louis' comfort, so he allegedly pulled the photog to the floor by his legs. The photog fell backwards and struck his back and head on the floor.

It didn't end there. A female witness started recording Louis' GF as she tried to leave. The 2 women allegedly then got into a physical altercation.

The witness and the photog both made citizens' arrests.

Tomlinson was arrested for simple battery and booked at a nearby LAPD jail.

If there was any lingering doubt about Margot Robbie, it's gone now ... she IS Tonya Harding.

Paps got Margot on the set of the the biopic "I, Tonya," where she continued to channel the former Olympic figure skater both in costume and expression.

Looks like they're at about the part when Tonya's troubles begin.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West went out for Valentine's Day dinner and it was almost too much for paparazzi to handle ... because they almost came to blows over it.

Kimye hit up Carbone Tuesday night in NYC -- judging by the selfies Kim posed for with fans and Kanye's smile, seemed like a swell date night after nearly 3 years of marriage.

George Clooney and his wife, Amal, are expecting twins.

Julie Chen from "The Talk" is connected in Hollywood, and she just confirmed what we've been hearing ... they're pregnant ... reportedly with a boy and a girl, although George and Amal have yet to comment on the news.

Rumors started swirling Amal was pregnant when she showed up to a Netflix screening in London last month rockin' a baby bump ... and earlier this month looking bigger in Barcelona.

George and Amal got hitched in 2014 ... a long time coming for George, who once swore off marriage and kids as one of Hollywood's most notorious bachelors.

Justin Bieber showed up at a huge car auction to help fetch a fortune for a car he's probably more than happy to unload.

Justin arrived at the Velocity Barrett-Jackson auction Saturday in Arizona to help put his Ferrari 458 on the block. You heard him (below) talk about the car before the bidding starts.

Justin and the auctioneer reference the car's history ... among other things, it was nailed by paparazzi on an L.A. freeway. It was also the car Bieber's pal Lil Twist was driving January 1, 2013, when a photog, who was following him, was struck and killed by another car.

The Ferrari went for $434,500.

Caitlyn Jenner was left speechless from Donald Trump's inauguration in D.C. ... literally, she couldn't muster a word.

We got Caitlyn arriving at LAX Saturday, where paps swarmed her.

Selena Gomez found a new way to tell paps to talk to the hand ... but along the way, she pulled a Bieber and almost went off course.

Paps got Selena Sunday night leaving Terroni in L.A., and she really wasn't having it with their questions about backstabbing Bella Hadid by swooping in on The Weeknd.

She also looked a lot like her own ex trying to navigate to the car ... thank God for those handlers.

Justin Bieber had nothing to say -- at least to us -- about Selena Gomez hooking up with The Weeknd ... but he did almost lose his way.

We got the Biebs and Patrick Schwarzenegger at Catch Saturday night ... and as Justin was leaving, he gets disoriented when fans start asking for pictures. You'll recall, he's not that into it anymore.

Uma Thurman's custody hearing with her ex-fiance got off to a rocky start ... for the paparazzo trying to shoot her as she walked into court.

The video's pretty hilarious for everyone but the guy who went down ... hard. To her credit, Uma didn't laugh (out loud) and even took some time to help him up.

Diego Luna must think the paparazzi are with the Empire, and fans are his fellow rebels ... because he was slow to answer but quick on the draw -- with his pen.

We got the 'Rogue One' actor, who plays Rebel leader Captain Cassian Andor, at LAX Thursday where he got swarmed by an army of clones -- "Star Wars" fanboys -- who all wanted an autograph from the franchise's latest star.
