Jessica Simpson was swarmed by paparazzi Monday night, and it understandably left her a little "deer-in-the-headlights."

Jessica and hubby Eric Johnson left Craig's in West Hollywood and the scene looked more like a pap frenzy at LAX.

Eric guided Jessica to the car, and she decided to ride shotgun.

London's Fashion Week turned into a contact sport when British model Jourdan Dunn ended up in the middle of a brawl ... complete with a nasty knock down punch!

Dunn and a couple of male friends were cruising out of Loulou's nightclub Monday night, and it appears a photog pissed off one of her pals. It's unclear exactly what started the fight, but check out the video -- it is crystal clear what ended it.

10:40 AM PST: A rep for Columbus Short tells TMZ, "[Short's] arrest was NOT due to an outstanding warrant ... . It appears that this is a citizen's arrest as a result of an issue between Mr. Short and his bail bondsman."

Columbus Short had a few party crashers during his album release celebration Tuesday night ... bounty hunters and sheriffs who were there to arrest him.

Short was picked up in a club at Universal Studios CityWalk in Los Angeles ... just as he was about to do a soundcheck.

It seems Short was arrested because he failed to appear in one of his domestic violence cases and the judge issued a bench warrant.

In the video, Short is arguing with one of the bounty hunters ... saying they freaked him out and he was afraid for his life.

We're told the bounty hunters were there because they'll get a cut of his $500,000 bail. We're told the bounty hunters swooped in because they believed Short was about to flee the county.

Lil Eazy-E got in Snoop Dogg's grill about UCLA football ... days before Snoop's son Cordell Broadus bailed -- but he says the Doggfather kept the whole thing on the QT.

We broke the news about Cordell quitting Bruins football to Lil E and he was shocked and heartbroken. Shocked because he was just "talking mess" about the USC-UCLA rivalry to Snoop at the "Straight Outta Compton" premiere last week.

Dr. Dre's son, Curtis Young, ain't no thespian ... which is why he's cool getting passed over for his dad's part in "Straight Outta Compton."

Kelly Rutherford left the courthouse visibly upset after having her kids ripped from her arms in court.

The "Gossip Girl" star was understandably distraught after the hearing, choking up as she tried to explain how she was feeling. Rutherford could only muster, "I have no words" ... before she broke down in tears.

After the judge's ruling, Rutherford was forced to turn over her two kids, sending them back to Monaco.

The next court hearing is scheduled to take place September 3 in Monaco.

"Flashdance" star Jennifer Beals is taking heat for leaving her German Shepherd in a hot car, and the excuse is puzzling.

Beals was in the Dunbar neighborhood of Vancouver Wednesday when she left her pooch in her SUV with the window open only a crack.

A guy happened to notice just as Beals was returning to her car, and he confronted her, saying it was dangerous to leave the dog in the car with the temp at 77 degrees.

Jennifer's response ... "In Dunbar, it's ok."

The incident was reported to the SPCA and their Chief Prevention Officer's response was even more curious: "The sun shines in Dunbar just as much as it shines everywhere else."

Nipsey Hussle may have dodged a bullet Tuesday, because cops missed what could have been an obvious offense ... all contained in a double cup.

Hussle got into it with a paparazzo, and it got so heated police were called.

As Hussle jawbones with cops, the telltale double cup sits right by his feet. It's possible it's not sizzurp, but not probable.

You may recall, Hussle was arrested last month for possession of codeine without a prescription.

Jimmy Fallon jumped onstage with U2 -- injured finger and all -- and absolutely stole the show ... for at least one song of the Madison Square Garden gig.

Fallon started out by busting on Bono, The Edge, and himself ... for their rash of injuries, saying ... ""I'm a big fan of Irish people who fall down and hurt themselves"

But when the band kicked into their hit, "Desire" -- Jimmy went into lead singer mode ... first sharing the mic, and then taking over and doing a spot-on Bono impression.

Sitcom legend Jimmie "JJ" Walker is shocked by the outrage over Bill Cosby ... because he thought it was common knowledge Cos was nailing women on the side.

The ex "Good Times" star was out in L.A. when a photog asked about the Cosby scandal. Walker admits he was surprised to hear Cosby used Quaaludes and other drugs on women, but claims he witnessed Cosby hooking up all the time.

Walker, who's worked with Cosby on a movie and on the comedy circuit ... said, "I actually thought everybody KNEW about all these women."

As for Cosby bouncing back from the controversy -- Walker's got an opinion, and it ain't "Dyn-o-mite!"

French Montana is putting ruthless, murderous drug lord El Chapo up on a pedestal -- and the video of his shout-out to the notorious fugitive ... is ridiculous.

French was out in Hollywood Wednesday night when a photog asked if El Chapo is still kingpin in the drug game. His bizarre answer included the word, "idol."

Seems weird to show love to a guy responsible for the deaths of thousands of people.
