Paul Walker would NOT have been cool with Roger Rodas pushing the Porsche Carrerra GT to dangerous speeds the day they died ... that according to Paul's father.

Paul Walker Sr. says he's heard all the rumors about his son being into street racing -- but insists that's simply not true, because ... "He did not ever want to hurt anybody."

In the clip, Paul Sr. does admit his son loved going fast in cars, but only under specific conditions .. which he describes.

Paul addressed the media outside his home, saying he's never experienced anything like this in his life. "It's hard ... every now and then I'll really break down."

Matt Damon finally said what everyone in Hollywood has been thinking -- Paul Walker's death is "f**king horrible."

Damon was arriving at LAX with his wife yesterday when he was asked about the tragedy involving the "Fast and the Furious" actor ... and was as brutally honest as he could be.

Damon said the two knew each other -- though it's unclear how well. It doesn't appear the two ever worked together.

Still, Damon's words couldn't ring more true -- Walker was known around town as one of the nicest guys in the biz ... and was attending a charity event at the time of the fatal crash.

Moments before Paul Walker took what turned out to be a fatal ride -- he posed proudly next to the exotic car that exploded on impact in the deadly accident.

Paul was photographed with the red 2005 Porsche Carrera GT that belonged to his friend Roger Rodas. They were attending a fundraiser in Santa Clarita, CA.

We're told the photos and video were taken about 30 minutes before the accident.

As TMZ first reported ... Paul had put together the charitable event -- through his Reach Out Worldwide organization -- to support typhoon relief efforts in the Philippines.

Paul was the passenger in the Porsche when Rodas lost control and slammed into a tree. The car exploded, and the Sheriff's Department says speed was a factor.

Here's something crazy -- the Australian hotel Justin Bieber tagged up this week has ZERO plans to scrub off his crappy artwork from its walls ... in fact, a rep tells TMZ, they're stoked the Biebs left his mark.

We posted the video Wednesday, showing Bieber spray-painting hideous multi-colored monsters onto a wall at the Brisbane hotel where he was staying.

You'd think the hotel would be pissed, but it's not -- the rep for the QT Gold Coast hotel tells us, "It was a coup for the hotel to have Justin want to paint a piece of art in appreciation of his stay."

The rep adds, "This piece of art is now available to be viewed by fans of the artist and we believe that it is a wonderful addition to the colourful Gold Coast arts scene."
