BYU Cheerleading Coach KO'ed By Flying Water Bottle ... At End Of Utah Game

BYU's cheerleading coach says she was knocked out by a flying water bottle at the end of the Cougars' game against Utah on Saturday ... and now, she says cops are on the hunt to find the fan who threw it.

The object was apparently hurled in disgust by a Utah supporter who was upset over the way BYU had pulled off a stunning, come-from-behind, 22-21 victory over the Utes at Rice-Eccles Stadium.

In video obtained by the Deseret News, you can see just after BYU had kicked the game-winning field goal with just seconds left on the clock ... a water bottle came flying in from the stands and pelted Jocelyn Allan right in the face.

The wideout made the revelation to ESPN's Lisa Salters ... just minutes before he was cleared to go in the Fins' "Monday Night Football" matchup with the Rams at SoFi Stadium.

Salters said on the game's broadcast that Hill told her he first sustained the ailment during training camp ... but once Miami-Dade officers ripped him out of his sportscar and threw him in cuffs back on Sept. 8 -- it got much worse.

An Oklahoma City cop is facing backlash after he aggressively threw an elderly man to the ground during a traffic dispute ... reportedly causing a number of upsetting injuries.

In a new video making the rounds online ... the officer is seen issuing a traffic ticket to a 70-year-old man, named Lich Vu, and his wife in Oklahoma City. The scene starts off calmly enough ... with the officer explaining to Vu that he was being cited for an "improper U-turn," even though another driver struck his vehicle.

While Vu tries to explain himself, he is repeatedly interrupted by the officer ... leading the elderly man to tap the cop on the chest and say, "Shut up."

1:28 PM PT -- Sources close to Alfonso tell TMZ ... the ankle injury is indeed minor, and he's returning to production today to finish the special. We're also told he plans to participate in filming the 500th episode of "Dancing with the Stars" Tuesday.

Alfonso Ribeiro won't be "Dancing with the Stars" for a little while it looks like ... 'cause he injured his ankle while filming a dance number at Disney World -- and, TMZ has it on video.

The actor -- who hosts the reality dance competition show -- was filming an ABC holiday special at the Florida theme park when eyewitnesses tell us he stepped on one of the trolley rails and rolled his ankle.

10:32 AM PT -- Great news ... Dylan Holloway is back at the St. Louis Blues' facility following his scary incident Tuesday night -- and it seems he could return to the ice as early as this week.

Holloway addressed media members Wednesday morning -- roughly 12 or so hours after he was rushed to the hospital -- and he looked to be in good spirits.

He told reporters the puck hit a major nerve in his neck, which caused him to lose consciousness -- but tests have all come back OK since.

The L.A. Dodgers fan who had a firework explode in his hand during a viral World Series celebration-gone-wrong last week has lost two of his fingers, his dad announced this week.

Kevin King Sr. told Fox 11 Los Angeles his 25-year-old son, Kevin King Jr., is now without the pointer finger and the middle finger on his left hand ... and has already undergone two surgeries to repair the damage the firework caused.

Unfortunately, King Sr. said King Jr. will require a third procedure soon.

The Dodgers say Shohei Ohtani WILL play game 3 of the World Series -- despite partially dislocating his shoulder -- the question is, how effective can he actually be?! TMZ Sports talked to an orthopedic sports surgeon about the injury.

"Ohtani's apparent shoulder injury during the last game of the World Series was diagnosed as a shoulder subluxation," Dr. David Abbasi told us, adding, "That is not as severe as a shoulder dislocation."

FYI, a subluxation is where the ball (humeral head) of the shoulder joint partially slips out of the socket ... compared to a full dislocation where the ball fully slips out of the glenoid cavity.
