Dustin Johnson and Paulina Gretzky had a self-proclaimed "American Bad Ass" at their wedding this weekend ... with none other than Kid Rock taking the stage to perform for the newlyweds.

DJ and the hockey legend's daughter tied the knot at a lavish event at Blackberry Farm resort in Tennessee on Saturday ... and Paulina shared a short video of the reception, which featured the controversial singer.

"You are the joy of my life @djohnsonpga," Gretzky said on Instagram. "Thank you @kidrock."

Now, KR has a history of being unapologetically himself on the mic -- dropping homophobic slurs and going after Oprah Winfrey in the past.

His performance over the weekend seemed to be free of controversy ... as Rock sang a cover of Chris Stapleton's "Joy of My Life."

The musical act might not be as random as you think -- Rock is tight with DJ and Wayne ... and they've hit the links together over the years.

DJ and PG got engaged back in 2013 and have two children together ... and they looked absolutely perfect on their big day.

NHL Legend Guy Lafleur Dead At 70

NHL legend Guy Lafleur -- a Hockey Hall of Famer and five-time Stanley Cup winner -- has died at 70 years old, his sister announced.

The former Montreal Canadiens forward passed away on Friday after battling a myriad of health issues, including lung cancer.

"Guy I love you," Lafleur's sister wrote in a heartbreaking post on social media Friday morning. "You are done suffering we will miss you greatly."

Guy is considered one the greatest hockey players ever -- after being selected with the No. 1 overall pick in the 1971 draft, Lafleur went on to star for the Canadiens for 14 years.

He made six All-Star teams with Montreal, tallied 518 goals and 728 assists, and helped the Canadiens hoist the Cup five times in the 70s. Lafleur also became the first player ever to score 50 or more goals in six straight seasons in his Canadiens tenure.

"We are deeply saddened to learn of the death of Guy Lafleur," Canadiens president Geoff Molson said. "All members of the Canadiens organization are devastated by his passing. Guy Lafleur had an exceptional career and always remained simple, accessible, and close to the Habs and hockey fans in Quebec, Canada and around the world."

Molson continued, "Throughout his career, he allowed us to experience great moments of collective pride. He was one of the greatest players in our organization while becoming an extraordinary ambassador for our sport."

Lafleur retired following the 1985 season and was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame three years later. He eventually came out of retirement to play for the New York Rangers and the Quebec Nordiques following his induction, before leaving the game for good in 1991.

Macklemore & Marshawn Lynch... We Won in Rap & NFL ... Time to Conquer the NHL!!!

Two famous Seattle ballers in Macklemore and Marshawn Lynch are now biz partners ... in a completely new field for both of them.

On Monday, the NHL announced the rapper and ex-NFL great are both minority owners of the NHL’s Seattle Kraken, the league's newest franchise.

Mack, a 4x Grammy Award winner, and Beast Mode, a Super Bowl champ and 5x Pro Bowler ... are almost getting in on the ground floor -- this is the Kraken's first season on the ice.

Team CEO Tod Leiweke admitted he was initially taken aback when the guys approached the team last summer, but their missions to uplift the Seattle community proved to be an invaluable addition to the organization.

Plus, Macklemore can always be a handy choice for pre or post game entertainment. The hometown hero says he has nostalgic ties to the team's arena.

Speaking of hometown, Macklemore will be using his association with the team to cross-brand with his Hip Hop-centric, youth development program, The Residency, to continue to foster kids in the area.

Macklemore also hasn't released an album since 2017 (he even used the LP's Skylar Grey collaboration "Glorious" for the Kraken promo video) so maybe the new side hustle will provide new inspiration.

Toronto Maple Leafs Fans Brutal Beatdown In Arena Stands ... Fight Caught On Video

A Toronto Maple Leafs fan ruthlessly pummeled another man -- raining punches down from the full mount position -- in one of the most violent fan fights ever, and the altercation was captured on video.

The fight allegedly went down during Thursday's Maple Leafs game against the Washington Capitals game at Scotiabank Arena in Canada.

The man on top delivers at least two punches to the face ... appearing to break the man's eyeglasses, while other fans attempt to stop the violence.

It's unclear why the fight started, but, the man doling out the beating is heard saying something about the man touching a woman inappropriately, yelling "you can't touch a girl like that."

FYI, the guy getting beat up is never seen on video doing anything out of line to a woman.

The man was also heard saying "I will f***ing kill you!" and "I'm not a fighter, but don't f***ing touch me!"

You wouldn't know the guy doesn't fight. He got himself into one of the most dominant positions in MMA -- full mount.

"Full mount" is a dominant grappling position where one opponent sits on top of another's torso. It allows the person in the superior position to attack with a flurry of big punches, effectively leaving the person on the bottom defenseless.

Peace was eventually restored, and the guy who received the punches was helped to his feet ... face bloodied, appearing dazed and wobbly.

We reached out to police in Toronto, the arena, and the Maple Leafs organization. So far, no word back from anyone.

There was a bit of good news, despite the violent scene ... the Maple Leafs beat the Capitals, 7-3.

MIke Bossy NY Islanders Legend Dead At 65 ... After Battle With Cancer

Sad news in the hockey world ... New York Islander legend and Hall of Famer Mike Bossy has passed away after battling lung cancer.

He was only 65.

The right winger -- who's the all-time leader in average goals scored per regular season -- announced his diagnosis last October on TVA Sports, a Canadian network he worked for at the time.

"Today, it is with great sorrow that I have to withdraw from your screens, for an obligatory break," Bossy said.

"A necessary stop during which I will have to receive treatment for lung cancer."

"I can assure you that I intend to fight with all the determination and all the passion that you have seen me display on the ice and in my game."

Tragically, Bossy passed away on Friday.

Bossy's hockey career started in 1977 and he instantly became a scoring machine on skates. He was a key factor to Islanders' four consecutive championships in the early '80s ... and he was named MVP of the 1982 Stanley Cup.

He broke several franchise records during his 10 seasons with New York -- including all-time regular-season goal leader (573).

Bossy also won NHL rookie of the year in 1978, was inducted into the HOF in 1991. He was was named one of the 100 Greatest NHL players of all-time in 2017.

"The New York Islanders organization mourns the loss of Mike Bossy, an icon not only on Long Island but across the entire hockey world," Lou Lamoriello, the Islanders President of Hockey Operations, said hearing of Bossy's death.

"Along with his teammates, he helped win four straight Stanley Cup championships, shaping the history of this franchise forever."

Bossy is survived by his wife -- who he met at a snack bar rink and married in 1977 -- two daughters and two grandchildren.

Evander Kane I'm Officially Single Again!!!

Evander Kane is a single man again ... TMZ Sports has learned a judge just ruled he and Anna Kane are officially done.

Court docs show a Santa Clara County, CA judge made the ruling on Wednesday -- saying Evander is now single once more.

Evander and Anna married in 2018 and had a daughter together ... but their relationship soured a short time later -- and has recently gotten very ugly.

Anna filed for divorce from Evander in July 2021 -- and the two have accused each other of heinous things in separate court filings in the ensuing months.

Wednesday's ruling did not resolve any of the issues raised in the case other than their marital status. Alimony, child custody and other key issues in their divorce all will be figured out at a later date.

The ruling, though, did open the door for Evander and Mara Teigen's relationship to progress further.

As we reported, Evander linked back up with Mara following Anna's divorce filing ... and Mara announced a short time later she was pregnant with Evander's child.

Evander has made it no secret he's wildly in love with her -- saying "there's no one like you" in an Instagram post dedicated to her the day after Valentine's.

No word if Evander has plans to marry Mara ... but as a single man now, Evander is now free to pop the question if he wants.

BOOS FOR BIEBER

Justin Bieber might need a lesson in "know your audience" ... 'cause fans booed the hell out of the singer during his tour stop in Montreal on Tuesday for dissing the hometown Canadiens.

Bieber -- a MASSIVE fan of the Habs' hated rivals, the Toronto Maple Leafs -- showed love for his team right before his final song of the night ... saying, "How about those Leafs though, huh?"

The "Ghost" crooner even gave a shoutout to his close buddy for scoring a goal against the Canadiens on Saturday ... saying, "Auston Matthews is really doing some work here in Montreal."

Of course, the Canadiens are hot garbage this season ... sitting at the very bottom of the standings with an 18-38 record, despite beating the Leafs over the weekend.

Biebs made sure to let the crowd know he was well aware of their struggles this season ... adding, "How's that playoff spot looking for you guys this year?" and "Maybe next year, maybe next year."

The fans weren't having it -- letting the boo birds fly and even shouting expletives as Bieber continued to diss the hometown team ... even starting a "Go Leafs, Go" chant.

The stunt comes one week after the Leafs debuted their Bieber-designed Drew House jerseys ... which they wore on the ice for their Next Gen game.

Bruins' Taylor Hall Sucker Punches Leafs Defenseman ... After Being Shoved Into Boards

Boston Bruins star Taylor Hall -- a former league MVP -- was so pissed about being shoved into the boards during a game Tuesday night ... he retaliated by sucker punching the dude who pushed him.

The wild scene all went down late in the second period of the Bs' tilt with the Maple Leafs -- after Ilya Lyubushkin hurled Hall face-first into the wall as the Boston winger was trying to cross the midline.

You can see in footage of the play, Hall clearly thought the shove was unnecessary and dirty -- so he ran up from behind Lyubushkin and socked him in the jaw.

The Leafs defenseman went down hard -- and stayed on the ice for several seconds before he wobbled off into the locker room.

No word on if Lyubushkin suffered any serious injuries in the play -- but he was unable to return to the game. Toronto said in a statement afterward that the 27-year-old was being held out for "precautionary reasons."

The NHL, meanwhile, has already announced punishment for Hall over the swing -- saying it's fined the 30-year-old $5,000 "for roughing" Lyubushkin.

Lyubushkin's team was able to get the last laugh on Hall on Tuesday, though, coming away from the game with a 6-4 win.

Eugene Melnyk Ottawa Senators Owner ... Dead At 62

Ottawa Senators owner Eugene Melnyk has died from an illness, the NHL team announced on Monday night. He was just 62 years old.

According to the hockey club, Melnyk passed away following a battle with an undisclosed disease. The team noted he fought the illness "with determination and courage."

Melnyk -- a billionaire who made his fortune, in part, in the pharmaceutical and medical sales industry -- bought the Senators back in 2003 for $92 million ... and quickly found success.

The team made the Stanley Cup Final in 2007 -- and is now, according to Forbes, worth around half a billion dollars.

"While successful in business, it was our game and his Senators that he was most passionate about," NHL commissioner Gary Bettman said in a statement Monday following the owner's death. "Eugene was often outspoken but he maintained an unwavering commitment to the game and his roots and he loved nothing more than donning a Senators sweater and cheering on his beloved team."

"On behalf of the entire National Hockey League," Bettman continued, "I extend my deepest sympathies to Eugene’s daughters, Anna and Olivia, his extended family, and all those who benefited from his generosity."

NHL star and Senators team captain Brady Tkachuk also mourned the loss of Melnyk on Monday ... saying in a tweet, "The Ottawa community will miss you greatly."

In addition to his role as the Senators honcho, Melnyk was also successful in the horse-racing world ... with many of his horses winning coveted titles in Canada.

Connor McDavid Gives Pep Talk To 5-Year-Old Fan ... Battling Brain Cancer

The Edmonton Oilers gave a five-year-old battling stage four brain cancer the moment of a lifetime when they let him be their flag bearer for the night ... and star player Connor McDavid provided him with a pep talk right on the ice!!

The emotional scene went down Thursday night as the Oilers took on the San Jose Sharks ... with passionate fan Ben Stelter getting honored before the game.

Unfortunately, the tumor returned in December.

And now, Ben is starting another round of radiation in the near future ... so the Oilers wanted to show the youngster some love and support.

"It was an honor to have such an inspirational #Oilers fan as our @Scotiabank Skater," the org. wrote on social media.

Keep fighting, Ben!! Amazing moment.

Golden Knights' Brett Howden Leaves Game On Stretcher ... Scary Collision On Ice

Scary moment in the NHL -- Vegas Golden Knights center Brett Howden left Thursday night's game on a stretcher ... after colliding into the sideboards following a hit from the Nashville Predators' Filip Forsberg.

The incident took place in the first period ... as Forsberg and Howden were both trying to secure the puck, but things went wrong.

In a video of the collision, Forsberg loses balance as he's trying to make a play ... and his momentum carries him into Howden, who then goes headfirst into the wall.

Forsberg's teammates had a front-row seat to see it all unfold ... and their faces told the story of just how scary the wreck was.

Officials did not penalize Filip over the play ... as the whole thing appeared to be unintentional.

Forsberg immediately sprang to his feet to check on Howden ... as players and fans in the arena expressed the same concern.

Emergency personnel managed to get to Howden quickly ... putting the 23-year-old on a stretcher. He was taken to the hospital for further medical treatment.

The good news -- Howden appeared to be responsive following the hit ... raising one of his arms as he left the ice.

He is reportedly in stable condition.

Get well soon, Howden.

"I’m grateful to the Leafs for the chance to team up again to create something so authentic for the team and its fans."

NHL 'Concerned' For Russian Players ... They're In 'Extremely Difficult Position'

NHL officials say they're straight-up "concerned" for Russian players in their league ... explaining in a statement Monday that "they and their families are being placed in an extremely difficult position."

Amid a Russian invasion into Ukraine, Russian NHL players have faced hate from fans all over the globe ... with some of the league's top talent reportedly even receiving death threats.

In fact, the messages to players have gotten so bad, TSN hockey insider Darren Dreger reported Monday that the NHL has bulked up security across the league for players in wake of it all.

In its statement Monday, the NHL seemed to acknowledge the need for added protection ... saying, "We also remain concerned about the well-being of the players from Russia, who play in the NHL on behalf of their NHL Clubs, and not on behalf of Russia."

The league did admonish Russia for its attack ... and said it is in the process of pausing its relationships with Russian business partners and suspending its Russian language media sites.

"The National Hockey League condemns Russia's invasion of Ukraine," the league said, "and urges a peaceful resolution as quickly as possible."

Maple Leafs' Rodion Amirov Top Prospect Diagnosed With Brain Tumor ... Out For Season

Sad news in the hockey world ... Rodion Amirov, the Toronto Maple Leafs' first-round pick in 2020, has been diagnosed with a brain tumor and has been ruled out for the season.

Leafs general manager Kyle Dubas announced the diagnosis on Wednesday morning ... saying the tumor was found while the 20-year-old was recovering from an injury he suffered at the beginning of this season.

"During the course of his recovery from this injury," Dubas said, "he developed some new, unrelated symptoms that required ongoing extensive investigations over the last few months."

Dubas says the prospect -- who plays in the KHL, one of the best pro hockey leagues in the world -- is now undergoing treatment at a German medical facility and he'll miss the rest of the 2021-2022 season.

"Our medical staff has been involved throughout the process alongside [Rodion's KHL team] and we are in direct contact with the facility on an ongoing basis to monitor his treatment and care," Dubas said.

"Rodion has the complete support of the Toronto Maple Leafs organization and we will continue to ensure he receives the best care possible throughout this process."

Amirov is in good spirits despite the news -- his agent, Dan Milstein, said he's working out every day and skating three times a week.

"I want to stay positive, and I want people to think positively about me," Amirov told Sportsnet.

"There are many other people that have their own sicknesses or illnesses. I want to show by example that I can give people hope."

Amirov -- the 15th overall pick in the 2020 NHL Draft -- scored one goal and tallied three points this season.

Machine Gun Kelly Defends Hockey 'Halftime' Gaffe ... You Know What I Meant!!!

020722-machine-gun-kelly-kal
KNOW WHAT I MEAN?
@machinegunkelly / Instagram

Machine Gun Kelly is clapping back at all the haters making fun of him for not knowing there's no halftime in hockey ... saying, "You know what I'm saying!"

The "My Ex's Best Friend" artist was trolled relentlessly on Saturday after he tweeted that he'd be performing at "half time" of the NHL All-Star Game.

Hockey fans proceeded to ride Megan Fox's future hubby hard ... getting after him for not knowing there's three periods in the sport.

Finally, after two days of online bashing ... MGK just released a video explaining himself, essentially telling people to get off his back.

"I know nothing about sports!" MGK said. "But you know what I'm saying! You know what I'm saying? When they're not playing, I'm going to be performing. You know what I'm saying?!"

We get it ... it's confusing, most sports do feature four quarters with one halftime -- and the idea of two intermissions instead of one half is a little strange.

Either way ... MGK killed the intermission show -- so dude's kinda earned the right to call the stoppage of play whatever he wants.
