Rock legend Jon Bon Jovi had the magic words to help one woman in distress Tuesday evening ... seemingly convincing the stranger not to jump off a bridge.

Here's what went down ... the "It's My Life" singer was filming a music video for his song "People's House" on the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge in Music City around 6 PM, when JBJ noticed a woman in need of help.

Check out the video ... the woman in question appeared to be gearing up to jump off the famed bridge -- but Bon Jovi then approached her and spoke to her, convincing her not to end her life.

One of the pilots involved in the Delta Air Lines runway collision had no clue he hit another plane ... new audio reveals.

In audio from the cockpit, a pilot asks ... "We just hit something on the taxiway, could you tell us what it was?"

The culprit was another Delta Air Lines passenger jet ... and air traffic control responded, "The whole tail of that CRJ is off."

An officer fired at an armed man who cops say was trying to carjack a woman at a Walmart drive-thru ... and the dramatic scene was captured on body cam footage released by Kentucky's Louisville Metro Police.

In the clip captured August 28, you can see the female driver manages to escape her car as the suspect Randall Allen makes his way into the passenger seat ... where cops are heard issuing multiple commands for Allen to get out.

Allen is heard saying he can’t move his hand ... but the cops eventually fire through the windshield, hitting him multiple times before pulling him out of the car. Cops say he had a gun in his pants and report a second gun was found inside the car.

11:02 AM PT -- Delta released a third update to this morning's runway collision.

"No customer or crew member injuries have been reported, and operations are continuing as normal at the Atlanta airport."

9:59 AM PT -- Delta released an updated statement after this morning's collision.

“At approximately 10:07 a.m., the wing of an Airbus A350 taxiing out as DL295 from Atlanta to Tokyo-Haneda made contact with the tail of an Endeavor Air CRJ-900, DL5526 to LaFayette, Louisiana, on an adjacent taxiway, resulting in damage to the tail of the regional jet and the wing of the A350.

"There have been no reported injuries at this time and customers are being transported back to the terminal where they will be reaccommodated on alternate flights.

"There were 221 customers on DL295 and 56 customers on DL5526. At this time, no additional operational adjustments are expected.

"Delta is cooperating with the NTSB and other authorities on this incident.”

Two Delta Air Lines planes collided on a runway in a shocking scene at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport Tuesday.

The morning incident reportedly occurred when one flight was taxiing on the runway, about ready to take off for Louisiana.

According to eyewitnesses, the other plane clipped the back end of the flight ... terrifying people onboard.

The family of accused Apalachee High School shooter Colt Gray is calling out bullying at the hands of the suspect's father, Colin Gray.

A relative of Colt's mother said the Gray patriarch felt his 14-year-old was too "tender" and began calling him names -- "sissy" and "bitch" -- to underscore his disdain ... this according to the NY Post.

The relative claims Colin bought his son an AR-15 style rifle for XMAS to "toughen him up." The rifle is the weapon Colt allegedly used when he shot up his high school, leaving 4 dead and 9 injured.

Newly released body cam shows the teen charged in the Apalachee High School shooting telling cops he did not threaten to open fire in his previous school ... while his father claimed to take gun safety with his son very seriously.

The Jackson County Sheriff in Georgia released the footage late Monday of an investigator visiting Colt Gray and his father Colin -- who's now facing manslaughter charges for the 4 Apalachee High killings -- in May 2023. Law enforcement was investigating an alleged threat the then 13-year-old had made on the social media platform Discord.

The teen fully denied making the menacing remarks about his previous school, telling the cop, “I don’t know. Maybe they misheard somebody else. No, I swear.” He also said he had deleted his Discord account.

The mother of alleged Georgia school shooter Colt Gray made a frantic phone call just before he opened fire, telling school officials she got a call from her son and she feared the worst.

Marcee Gray got a text from her son, which read, "I'm sorry, mom," according to Colt's grandfather, Charles Polhamus, who spoke with the New York Post.

Marcee was with Charles when she got the text, and she frantically called Apalachee High School and told a counselor this was an "extreme emergency."

The father of the alleged Georgia school shooter reportedly took only his most precious possessions when the family was evicted -- his guns ... abandoning the dogs and family photos.

Colt Gray, the suspected shooter accused of gunning down 4 people at Apalachee High School in Winder, Georgia, appeared in court this morning ... and it was a shocking sight to see a 14-year-old accused of such heinous crimes.

The alleged shooter arrived in an olive green jumpsuit at the Barrow County Courthouse in the rural Georgia town on Friday morning alongside his lawyer ... 2 days after authorities say he opened fire at the school, killing students Mason Schermerhorn and Christian Angulo, and teachers Richard Aspinwall and Christina Irimie. Nine others were injured.

The judge read off the 4 felony murder charges against Gray, and then asked if he could read and write in English -- which he answered in the affirmative.

Karen Read's breaking her silence ... admitting she was angry with Boston cop John O'Keefe the night he died -- but, says that doesn't mean she ran him over with her SUV.

Read -- who is scheduled to be retried for O'Keefe's death in January 2025 -- sat down for an interview with ABC News ... saying John really upset her after a night of drinking in 2022, and she angrily left him at a friend's house.

Two men from the UK are critically wounded after a shooting outside a Hollywood hotspot, where Ray J's estranged wife, Princess Love, stepped in to help one of the victims.

TMZ obtained video of a bloodied man on the ground outside Status Restaurant & Lounge -- a male suspect, reportedly wearing a white T-shirt and gray shorts, opened fire late Wednesday night.

The scene is tough to watch -- showing the man writhing on the ground with a trail of blood nearby ... and Princess Love and another bystander are crouched next to him.

2:18 PM PT -- The Atlanta division of the FBI confirmed the agency investigated threats made by then-13-year-old suspect Colt Gray via Discord in May 2023. The threats ... which included pictures of guns ... were to commit a future school shooting -- but no mention of when or where.

The FBI referred the threats to the Jackson County Sheriff's Office ... and deputies visited the home to interview the suspect and his father. The suspect denied making the threats ... and although there were guns in the home ... the father told deputies Colt did not have "unsupervised access."

It was determined there was no probable cause for arrest or any other action.

The suspect charged with murdering four people at a Georgia high school this week was banned from Discord for violating their extremism policy.

A rep for the popular messaging platform tells TMZ ... an account believed to be connected with Colt Gray was created in early April 2023 and banned just six weeks later for violating the platform's anti-extremism policy.

We're told "Discord’s Safety team immediately responded to law enforcement," provided all necessary info for their investigation, and removed the user from the platform.
