Nine months after Elon Musk hooked up a remote Amazon tribe to the internet, there's been some major issues -- mainly a porn addiction ravaging the community's young men.

The Marubo tribe's elders have come forward to admit that while the Tesla founder's Starlink service was initially a huge celebration for them, it's all turned into a mess ... 'cause some of the previously chaste tribe's men are now displaying "aggressive sexual behavior."

One tribesman, Alfredo Marubo, spoke to The New York Times about it ... saying some men are even sharing explicit videos in group chats, and he's concerned they're gonna want to mimic the graphic content they're seeing on screen.

4:22 PM PT -- And just like that, the FDA advisers who were mulling over using ecstasy to treat people with PTSD just suggested it ain't happening ... voting against it.

In a 10-1 vote -- with the one person voting for MDMA's use -- the recommendation fell flat ... although the FDA has the final decision. They often run with the committee's vote.

A pharmaceutical version of MDMA, also known as midomafetamine, could become a new treatment for PTSD ... as advisers for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration are considering whether to recommend it for approval.

The panel gathered Tuesday to discuss a treatment developed by Lykos Therapeutics ... which has conducted 2 controlled trials to test how MDMA might help those suffering from PTSD, in addition to therapy.

Of course, MDMA is more widely known as the party drug molly, or ecstasy.

Folks in New York and New Jersey are bracing for the imminent arrival of the Joro spider, a giant venomous species of 8-legged critters known for their ability to parachute around town. They've been spreading up the eastern seaboard, heading directly for the Northeast.

Get a load of this ... female Joro spiders have leg spans reaching up to 4 inches, and are known to use their silk webs to make balloon shapes that allow them to be carried through the air.

Rex Heuermann -- the suspected Gilgo Beach serial killer -- will be hit with a new charge tied to his murder case ... TMZ has confirmed

Sources with direct knowledge tell us Heuermann will be arraigned in Riverhead, NY on Thursday -- and while the exact details aren't official yet ... we're told he's expected to be hit with yet another murder charge ... his fifth in the sweeping case.

Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond Tierney told CBS News Monday ... "There were a number of necessary investigative steps that were taken, we've pointed out just some of them. Thursday, you will see the fruits of that investigation." The identity of the new alleged victim has yet to be released.

2:24 PM PT -- Donald Trump just addressed the media after leaving court -- and as expected, he called the verdict rigged ... continuing to insist he hadn't done anything wrong whatsoever.

KTLA weatherman Mark Kriski is recovering from a medical emergency -- as the beloved broadcaster suffered a mild stroke ... according to his wife, reporter Jennifer Gould.

Jennifer tells TMZ ... Mark suffered the stroke early Monday morning at their L.A. home. He was hospitalized, but she says he's on the road to recovery.

While he's still hospitalized, she says Mark is communicative, joking around and, generally, in good spirits. KTLA broke the news and just announced it on the air.
