An Amazon worker tried to shoot his coworker this week in Ohio ... but, somehow he missed at point-blank range -- which all ended in tragedy when he was gunned down by cops.

Cops identified Ali Hamsa Yusuf -- a 22-year-old Amazon security guard who brought a gun to work -- as the man who tried to shoot his supervisor ... which was captured on surveillance footage.

Check out the clip ... Yusuf takes the gun out and tries to fire it right behind his boss -- but the gun jams. He inspects it, fixes the issue and fires again successfully.

Tinker Bell's not getting the boot from Disneyland -- even though a crap ton of people are under the misconception she is ... all 'cause of baseless fan theories that have run amok.

You may have heard about this in recent weeks -- namely, reports that have suggested that the live version of the Tinker Bell character at Disney parks in the U.S. was persona non grata going forward ... and that they were putting her on the shelf for being "problematic."

This all stems from a NYT story that detailed an internal study Disney did a few years ago analyzing which of their characters didn't hold up to modern-day standards ... and Tink was one, as their own people felt she wasn't a good role model for girls in the 21st century.

McDonald's is admitting that not every kid who has a Happy Meal is beaming with joy ... emphasizing this point with a major redesign to their iconic Happy Meals, for a week anyway.

The company's UK division officially removed the smile from millions of Happy Meal containers in solidarity with Mental Health Awareness Week, which runs from May 13 to May 19. They're also dropping "Happy" from their famous menu item ... calling it "The Meal."

The redesign, brought about by Leo Burnett UK and Ready 10, is meant to reflect a recent study ... which found that 48% of kids in the UK feel pressured to be happy all the time.

Magician David Copperfield is shooting down the claims of 16 women alleging he engaged in sexual misconduct or inappropriate behavior with them -- and he says law enforcement's already cleared his name.

The U.K. Guardian's U.S. bureau detailed the allegations after an investigation it says found 3 women who've accused Copperfield of drugging them before engaging in non-consensual sexual activity with them.

According to the report, 4 women accused him of groping or coercing them to touch him in a sexual manner during live performances on stage.

The suspect in a terrifying choking and sexual assault -- captured on camera -- is in police custody, thanks to the man's mother.

NYPD arrested 39-year-old Kashaan Parks Saturday, and booked him for rape, strangulation, assault, sexual abuse, public lewdness and harassment. Police released video of the alleged crime last week, showing the suspect walk up behind the unsuspecting victim and throw a belt around her neck.

The woman was choked unconscious, according to police, before the suspect dragged her in between 2 cars and sexually assaulted her.

Long before the 4th of July, the skies over America are filling with beautiful colors, courtesy of a massive solar storm -- but before you get too awestruck by the beauty ... Bill Nye the Science Guy has a warning.

The Northern Lights, or Aurora Borealis, are normally only seen over places like Alaska, Canada and Scandinavia -- extreme northern latitudes -- but on Friday night the dazzling colors were seen dancing in the sky as far south as Texas and Alabama.

The rare phenomenon really was a thing to see, and social media feeds were filled with the images everyone was capturing into the wee hours of Saturday morning.
