Israeli Teenage Girl Mom Distracted Her With Taylor Swift Concert ... When Hiding From Hamas
An Israeli teen girl and her family hid from Hamas terrorists for hours on end ... and her mom kept her mind distracted by focusing on an upcoming Taylor Swift concert.
13-year-old Renana Botzer Swissa told CBS News she rushed into her family' safe room Saturday with her parents and grandmother as Hamas aggressors raided the settlement of Kfar Aza -- near the Gaza border.
Swissa says her mom, Ilanit, used Taylor as a means of distracting her teenage daughter from the potentially fatal possibilities that could arise if they were found ... telling Swissa to think about the Europe concert in June as something happy to look forward to.
She says the thought of seeing Taylor live gave her hope that they'd make it out of the unspeakable evil alive, but admits terrible thoughts were still looming over her -- including worries that she'd be kidnapped, raped, or even killed.
Swissa also made a promise to her mom, saying she'd let her give her kisses if they survived ... this after she apparently had been playfully getting annoyed by all the smooches she'd been given.
Since making it out of the safe room alive 16 hours later, Ilanit says she's been giving her daughter nothing but kisses.
As you know, the destruction has continued to intensify in the Middle East since Hamas first attacked Israel on Saturday -- the current total death count is reportedly over 3,000, which includes 27 Americans.

Disturbing Video Israeli Diplomat Stabbed In China ... Knife Suspect Limps Away
The growing conflict in the Middle East seems to have spread to China as terrifying video emerged of a knife-wielding assailant stabbing an Israeli Embassy worker outside in broad daylight.
The frenzied attack unfolded on a Beijing sidewalk Friday after Hamas' ex-leader ordered a global 'Day of Jihad,' calling on all Muslims to show support for Palestinians -- under the leadership of Hamas terrorists -- in their fight against Israel.
Check out this footage, obtained by the South China Morning Post ... the Israeli diplomat is rolling around on the ground trying to fend off the maniac, who is wildly stabbing him with the knife. The suspect clumsily gets to his feet and again stabs the diplomat in the chest. You can hear the victim scream, "Why, Why?"
After that, the attacker limps away, nursing an injury to his leg that has bled through his pants. The video cuts off as he's fleeing. It's not clear if he was arrested.
As for the diplomat, he was rushed to a local hospital, where he was listed in stable condition. The extent of his injuries was not disclosed.
Meanwhile, Israeli military officials issued a warning to Palestinians to leave the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip, while continuing to drop bombs in the area.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared war on Hamas after the terrorist group launched a sneak attack, killing more than 1300 Jewish men, women and children.

NYT's Kashmir Hill AI Firm Already Has Your Face & Data ... Push Back Or Kiss Privacy Goodbye!!!

Pairing facial recognition with AI is a dream come true for law enforcement, but it could also be a nightmare for privacy as we know it -- which is why an author says it might be time to pump the brakes on the technology.
Kashmir Hill, a New York Times tech reporter, joined us Thursday on "TMZ Live" to tell us about the facial recognition databases lurking in the shadows, how the technology works and what its implications are for the future.
Google and Facebook first developed facial recognition tech in early 2017, but Silicon Valley's major players didn't dare unleash it on the public ... though Kashmir says another company, Clearview AI, picked up the baton and pushed the boundaries.
Kashmir wrote a book about the topic, "Your Face Belongs to Us: A Secretive Startup's Quest," and she says Clearview AI's database scraped the internet for photos of human faces -- without consent -- amassing 30 billion images and counting. Those numbers make it likely your face is already in their database.
There are some practical, and good, uses right now -- the tech is being used to solve crimes, and it was recently used to identify folks who stormed the Capitol during the Jan. 6 insurrection.
However, Kashmir paints a picture of a dystopian future where the tech completely strips away privacy for everyone ... which, for example, could make for some embarrassing trips to the pharmacy.
It's not all doom and gloom, she explains why society doesn't have to lay down and let facial recognition tech change our lives for the worse.

She says she took their child and bolted out of the building, hiding for 27 hours before they were found and rescued ... but her husband, Yahav Winner, didn't make it out with her.
Shaylee was holding out hope Yahav had also survived, but the interview took an incredibly grim turn when -- as the camera was rolling -- her family got the horrifying call that he was dead.

SHERRI SHEPHERD ¡¡¡BARBARA WALTERS ADORABA VER A RICHARD PRYOR!!! Comparte secreto flechazo
Sherri Shepherd Barbara Walters Loved View of Richard Pryor!!! Shares Hook-Up Secret
It's true, true ... Barbara Walters "loved a brother," and not just any Black man -- according to Sherri Shepherd "The View" creator hooked up with Richard Pryor!
The story comes up on Wednesday's episode of "Sherri," as she reunites with Joy Behar, and they discuss some stories from their time together at "The View" -- one in particular about when Sherri caught wind of Barbara's old tryst with Richard.
Sherri says the late comedic great Paul Mooney told her, back in the day, he'd walked in on Barbara and Richard doing the deed. Sherri admits she couldn't wait to share her juicy gossip with Joy, but asked her to keep it on the DL.
As you can imagine, that didn't happen -- you gotta see Sherri describe the moment they ended up confronting BW about her Richard "relations."
Fact is, Barbara did seem to have a type. In her memoir, she copped to having an affair, back in the '70s, with Sen. Edward Brooke from Massachusetts -- and both Joy and Sherri recalled how Barbara LOVED cozying up to Colin Powell whenever he was a 'View' guest.
Who knew Barbara was so down?!?

Hamas Attack Footage Armed Terrorists Ride Into Kibbutz ... Fatally Shoot Israelis In Car
Heavily armed Hamas terrorists were captured on film riding their motorcycles into an Israeli village and then shooting up a vehicle, killing everyone inside.
New surveillance video shows the terrorists wielding machine guns as they roll up to the Be'eri kibbutz (community) to indiscriminately murder and decapitate more than 100 Jewish civilians, including babies.
The footage, obtained by CNN, was shot after the terrorists broke through barriers separating the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip from Israel during Saturday morning's sneak attack on the Jewish state.
After their arrival at the kibbutz, two Hamas militants are seen on another clip trying to crawl underneath a security gate to get inside.
When that doesn't work, they duck into a security booth waiting for someone to come by to open the gate.
Soon enough, a car drives up with several people inside. The terrorists jump out and spray the occupants with bullets, killing them.
Meanwhile, Israel has been conducting airstrikes in the Gaza Strip after declaring war on Hamas following Saturday's devastating attack.
The death toll is staggering with over 1,200 slain in Israel and 950 in Gaza, where the Palestinians live under Hamas leadership.
President Joe Biden confirmed at least 14 Americans were murdered in the fighting, while others were being held captive, although the exact number was not known.

Gigi Hadid Condemns the Murders in Israel ... It's Not Part of the Free Palestine Movement
Gigi Hadid is breaking her silence on the slaughter in Israel ... condemning the murder of "innocent people" ... while pledging her ongoing support for Palestine.
The supermodel shared her thoughts on Tuesday, saying she has "deep empathy and heartbreak for the Palestinian struggle and life under occupation," while underscoring "a responsibility to my Jewish friends to make it clear, as I have before: While I have hopes and dreams for Palestinians, none of them include the harm of a Jewish person."
Gigi, who is of Palestinian descent, goes on to say "The terrorizing of innocent people is not in alignment with & does not do any good for the 'Free Palestine' movement." She goes on to say, "The idea that it does has fueled a painful, decades-long cycle of back&forth retaliation."
She bristles at "the false idea" that being Pro-Palestine is antisemitic.
She ends the post, saying, "every human deserves basic rights, treatment and security; no matter their nationality, religion, ethnicity or where they were born."
Gigi and her sister, Bella, have been criticized for sharing their anti-Israeli thoughts online -- especially in a 2021 post that claimed Israel wasn't a country, but instead a colonized land.
Bella has yet to speak out about the fight in the Middle East, but as you know, many stars have already shown support since Saturday's attack -- most in favor of Israel.

Titan Sub More Wreckage & Human Remains Found Months After Implosion
The remaining chunks from the Titan sub are still being picked up from the ocean floor, even months after it imploded and killed all passengers aboard.
More material from the tragedy was recovered last week, but just got announced Tuesday by the U.S. Coast Guard -- which says their marine safety engineers have scooped additional pieces of the submersible from the depths of the Atlantic Ocean.
As far as what exactly they recovered ... the sub's titanium endcap, among other unidentified parts. The Coast Guard says it also found more "presumed human remains." The remains are going to be transported for further analysis.
This marks the second plunge the U.S. Coast Guard has undertaken ... the first was done way back in June, when the 5 people inside were confirmed to have perished. During that initial outing, much of the submersible was found ... and it looked awfully crumpled.
Remember, the whole point of the mission -- through private company, OceanGate -- was to take tourists down to see the famous sunken ship. While it had completed successful dives in the past ... this one proved to be ill-fated and deadly.
OceanGate's CEO, Stockton Rush, was among those onboard. The other passengers who died included Paul Henri-Nargeolet, Hamish Hardin, Shahzada Dawood and his son Suleman.
It's unclear if any more voyages are going to happen to look for any outstanding pieces of wreckage -- but at some point ... the Coast Guard is expected to hold a press conference to address all their findings.
