Donald Trump fue comparado con el Pato Donald por "esquivar" el debate presidencial del Partido Republicano del miércoles por la noche. La disidencia vino de su ex amigo convertido en rival republicano Chris Christie.

Christie salió en contra del 45º presidente poco después de la primera pausa publicitaria durante el segundo debate del Partido Republicano en la Biblioteca Ronald Reagan en Simi Valley California.

En un momento dramático, el ex gobernador de Nueva Jersey miró fijamente a la cámara y se dirigió directamente a Trump, diciéndole: "Donald, sé que estás mirando, no puedes evitarlo".

Christie continuó: "No estás aquí esta noche, no por las encuestas ni por tus acusaciones. No estás aquí esta noche porque tienes miedo de estar en el escenario y defender tu historial".

Y continuó: "Estás eludiendo estas cosas y déjame decirte lo que va a pasar. Si sigues haciéndolo nadie te volverá a llamar Donald Trump".

Entonces Christie dio el remate: "¡Vamos a llamarte Pato Donald!" (Donald Duck).

El gobernador de Florida Ron DeSantis también tuvo algunas palabras para Trump y el actual presidente Joe Biden, afirmando que está "completamente desaparecido en acción de liderazgo".

En cuanto a Trump, DeSantis arremetió contra el ex Presi por saltarse su segundo debate republicano, diciendo que se lo debe al pueblo estadounidense para defender sus antecedentes.

DeSantis luego culpó a Trump por la alta inflación en el país debido a los 7,8 billones de dólares en deuda que agregó a la economía mientras estaba en el cargo.

Two teens stole an SUV and went for a joyride in Florida, but they got into a wild, high-speed police chase and ended up under arrest.

Sunday's dramatic pursuit was captured on aerial footage from a police helicopter as marked vehicles followed the juveniles in a red Toyota along the Tampa freeways, going at dangerous speeds. Earlier that day, the suspects had stolen the vehicle, which was left unlocked with the engine running in a driveway.

In the footage, the helicopter cop talks over the radio with another officer, confirming the color of the SUV and that it's traveling in the left lane.

The video then jumps to another highway, where police cruisers surround the Toyota and try to corral it.

But, the SUV drives off the road and onto a grassy embankment, managing to escape, though it's only for the moment.

While continuing its pursuit, one cop car performs an approved police maneuver called PIT, plowing into the Toyota, which spins around and comes to a stop on the thoroughfare.  (PIT stands for precision immobilization technique, which is used as a tool to end police chases.)

Deputies exit their vehicles and point their guns at the teens, ordering them out of the SUV.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said they arrested the 15-year-old driver who was charged with aggravated battery on law enforcement deadly weapon, grand theft motor vehicle and fleeing to elude high speed. The 14-year-old passenger was charged with grand theft auto.

La dramática persecución del domingo fue captada en imágenes aéreas desde un helicóptero de la policía mientras vehículos señalizados seguían a los menores en un Toyota rojo por las autopistas de Tampa a velocidades peligrosas. Los sospechosos habían robado el vehículo ese mismo día. Lo dejaron abierto con el motor en marcha en una entrada.

En las imágenes, el helicóptero policial se comunica por radio con otro oficial, confirmando el color del carro que está viajando en el carril izquierdo.

El video salta entonces a otra carretera, donde patrullas de policía rodean el Toyota y tratan de acorralarlo.

Pero el sospechoso se sale de la carretera y llega a un terraplén cubierto de hierba logrando escapar, aunque sólo por un momento.

Mientras continúa la persecución, un carro de policía realiza una maniobra policial aprobada llamada PIT, arrollando al Toyota que gira y se detiene en la vía pública.  (PIT son las siglas en inglés de técnica de inmovilización de precisión, que se utiliza como herramienta para poner fin a las persecuciones policiales).

Los agentes salen de sus vehículos y apuntan con sus armas a los adolescentes, ordenándoles que salgan del todoterreno.

La Oficina del Sheriff del Condado de Hillsborough dijo que detuvieron al conductor de 15 años de edad, quien fue acusado de agresión con agravantes en aplicación de la ley arma mortal, robo de vehículo de motor y huir a alta velocidad. El pasajero de 14 años de edad fue acusado por el robo del carro.

A pair of tickets to Ford's Theatre on the night of Abraham Lincoln's assassination have sold for an absolute fortune.

The 2 front-row balcony tickets, said to be in very good condition, made $262,500 through RR Auction, which closed the rare lot over the weekend -- they're dated "APR 14, 1865" and specifically say it's for "Ford's Theatre" in Washington, D.C.

Whoever owned the tickets would've been sitting in section D in seats 41 and 42. That would've put them on the opposite side of the theater from Lincoln's balcony seats, and given them an unobstructed view of the former president's assassination.

As you know, John Wilkes Booth -- who was an actor -- used his knowledge of the theater space to sneak into Lincoln's booth during the 3rd act of "Our American Cousin," shooting him in the head right next to First Lady Mary Todd ... days after the Civil War ended.

BTW, there aren't a whole lot of tickets from that fateful night still out there -- one of them is known to be at Harvard’s Houghton Library, and it's only half of the full ticket. The one at Harvard was even used to verify the balcony tickets that sold at auction.

Randolph White, sitting alongside his wife, Carrie, tells TMZ ... he could've been killed by the missing F-35 jet that practically crash-landed in his South Carolina backyard on Sunday -- calling it a real "near miss."

He thinks officials and the military should go through a thorough investigation and find out what the hell went wrong ... and he even wants whoever's to blame to be held responsible for the potentially fatal catastrophe.

As we reported, Randolph gained traction online for the hilarious way he described the fighter jet crashing nearby -- calling the sound it made something "between a screech and a whistle" before giving his own, wild impression.

BTW, Randolph gave us a new version of the sound ... and it's just as great.

Randolph tells us he's not all that interested in his internet fame, but Carrie and their kids sure are loving it! The guy admits he isn't used to his celeb status, but he'll take it.

FYI, 911 audio revealed the pilot ejected out of the aircraft and landed in someone's backyard ... apparently hurting his back. As you can imagine, the dispatcher was pretty confused about the rare call-in.

Humans are one step closer to figuring out the mysteries of the universe -- and it's all thanks to a NASA capsule that just got back with some space soil ... from a long way away!

The capsule was shot down from a larger mother ship spacecraft called OSIRIS-REx, which got launched into the sky a whole 7 years ago ... with the idea being that it'd travel billions of miles to reach a huge asteroid named Bennu, which while far ... it's still within reach for us.

NASA wanted to study debris from this asteroid, which is said to be very, very old. Scientists say the samples collected are going to help us understand more about our origins, not to mention other discoveries about our solar system and maybe even the galaxy at large.

It took a while, but the capsule finally touched down Sunday ... landing in a Utah desert, where NASA deployed helicopters as part of a recovery team. Seems they wanted to be extra careful with this thing -- even when they got back to the lab, it was hazmat suit galore.

As for what exactly the samples consist of ... it's mostly just rocks and dust, but considering it comes from an asteroid that likely traveled from a far distance, precaution is necessary.

While this is the first such asteroid mission for NASA, Japan's space agency has already beat us to it ... a couple different times, actually. Still, it's a major accomplishment for the U.S. -- and just another example of people venturing out into space more and more now.

USC head coach Lincoln Riley has lifted the controversial ban he placed on journalist Luca Evans this week ... after the two had a "long conversation" about the Trojans' beef with the beat writer.

Riley and his team initially suspended the Orange County Register reporter after they said he violated their media policies when he documented the pre-press-conference mannerisms of a Trojans player in a recent article.

The school said Evans shouldn't have written about the student-athlete's actions ... explaining they happened outside of the Trojans' allotted media availability period. Riley then suspended Evans for two weeks in response.

But, following days of backlash, Riley agreed to talk with Evans on Wednesday ... and on Thursday, he decided to remove the punishment.

"We had a very candid and productive conversation," Riley said. "We agreed that we both could have handled the situation differently. I appreciate Luca recognizing the policies we have in place to protect our student-athletes and acknowledging to adhere to those in the future."

"We welcome Luca back to practice and look forward to his continuing coverage of the Trojans."

Added Evans, "I respect and understand the program's outlined policies regarding media access, and any missteps came through the intent of doing my job and pursuing relationship-building and storytelling."

"I will continue the same reporting an writing with fairness, accuracy and depth, and we reached an agreement to lift the restriction on access."

Chicago has been plagued by carjacking crimes in recent years ... and now video has emerged showing just how harrowing the experience can be for a victim.

Surveillance footage, obtained by the Daily Mail, captures the moment a man sitting in a parked car is targeted by gun-wielding assailants who arrive in two other vehicles and block him in at an intersection on September 2.

The man tries to drive away, but he's trapped. One suspect darts out of his car, pointing his gun at the driver. Gunmen from the second vehicle jump out and converge on the motorist as well.

You can't hear what's being said, but it's a good guess the suspects are ordering the man to get the f*** out of the car so they can steal it.

And eventually, that's what happens. The bad guys drive away in their cars, as well as the one they just jacked from the driver, leaving him face down in the middle of the street.

Luckily, the man wasn't hit by a passing automobile. He got up and ran away but did not report the terrifying ordeal to Chicago PD.

Por suerte el hombre no fue atropellado por un automóvil que pasaba. Se levantó y huyó, pero no denunció la aterradora experiencia a la policía de Chicago.

Dos personas han fallecido tras ser alcanzadas por un rayo en una playa de México, y el espeluznante incidente fue grabado en video.

El terrible suceso ocurrió en Michoacán este lunes, ubicado en la costa del Pacífico, cuando el clima se puso muy complicado. En el video se puede ver a alguien recogiendo un quitasol, justo antes de que caiga el rayo.

Después de que la primera persona es golpeada, se puede ver cómo el rayo parece viajar por la arena hasta alcanzar a la segundo. Ambos colapsaron tras recibir el impacto, causando gritos de horror en las personas que estaban en el lugar.

2 people are reportedly dead after being hit by a bolt of lightning on a beach in Mexico ... and the horrifying incident was caught on video.

The ordeal went down in Michoacán Monday, along the country's Pacific coast -- as the weather got super nasty. You can see someone packing up an umbrella, just before the strike.

After the first person is hit, you can see the lightning appear to travel along the sand to the other person ... both of them collapse, causing nearby folks to scream in horror.

According to Spanish outlet MARCA, the victims were a man and a woman -- one was a tourist, and the other sold hammocks. The outlet says the woman was killed instantly at the scene, and the man later died at the hospital while receiving treatment.

Odds for a person to get hit by lightning are rare, at about 1 in 15,300.

A Connecticut man tried to stop two carjackers from stealing his Aston Martin sports car ... but his heroics fell short and ended with him getting a video-recorded beatdown.

Check out this Ring camera footage, which captured the intense battle between the masked thieves and the courageous man in his garage at his Westport home on Sunday afternoon.

As you can see, the man is sitting behind the wheel of his luxury vehicle when the suspects brazenly walk in and confront him.

One perp throws open the driver's side door and orders him out, but he refuses and the two get into a tussle.

The other perp hurries over to help his buddy, but the man is able to briefly fend them off.

Turning more aggressive, the assailants yank the man out of his seat and toss him to the ground before jumping into the car.

As they're about to pull away, the man stands up and starts fighting with the driver while screaming out for someone to call the police.

That only makes the thieves angrier, and they begin pummeling the man as the video cuts off.

A rep for Westport PD said the suspects sped away in the car and are still at large.
