Colorado Shooter Video Urged Cops to Breach Home ... So He Could Blow It Up

The Daily Beast

The Colorado gunman who shot and killed 5 people at a nightclub egged on cops to enter his mother's home back in 2021, but vowed to blow the place sky high -- further begging the question: why wasn't he disarmed under the state's red flag law???

In the video, Anderson Lee Aldrich can be seen pacing in the house wearing tactical gear -- claiming he'll set off the alleged explosives if officers breach the building.

He then shouts out, urging cops to enter -- adding, "Let's f***ing see it!" -- as we reported, Aldrich later exited the house and turned himself over to cops. No bomb was found in the home.

PREVIOUS ARREST

Aldrich was initially charged with 2 felonies, which were later dropped ... though it's unclear why.

Incredibly, Colorado's red flag law was never enforced ... which gives authorities the power to obtain "extreme risk protection orders" and take any weapons from a potentially dangerous person.

Many are now saying the law being enforced last year could've prevented the deadly massacre at Club Q over the weekend.

Elon Musk Tells Twitter Staff Content Moderation Council Is Powerless ... It's All Me!!!

I HAVE FINAL SAY
TMZ.com

Elon Musk's Content Moderation Council will be nothing more than a paper tiger, because the Chief Twit himself told his staff ... the ultimate power on what goes on the platform and what doesn't rests squarely with him.

New video obtained by TMZ shows Elon talking to bird app staffers Saturday in a company Zoom chat. At one point, EM touched on the Council he promised late last month.

Watch ... Elon says there will, in fact, be a Council -- but he makes it clear it's advisory only ... he will pick the members and can either accept or reject their advice ... he'll make the call.

Since announcing the Council -- which was seemingly meant to calm the waters with folks concerned about misinformation/hate speech on the platform -- Elon has made A LOT of sporadic decisions about how Twitter will work, and who gets to tweet.

He's suspended users and then reinstated them, seemingly on a whim. Over the weekend he asked users to vote on whether Donald Trump should be reinstated -- a slim majority turned thumbs up and Elon gave the green light for his return.

112222_tv_clips_elon_kal
ELON'S IN CHARGE

Two points -- first, Elon never said he'd adhere to the will of the majority ... and that's consistent with his view of the Council. Second, Trump has said he'll decline the invitation, but the reality is ... he'll almost certainly return because that's where he can reach voters.

Twitter's been the Wild West in the Musk Era thus far, and it sounds like he's gonna keep playing Sheriff, Mayor and Governor.

University Of Idaho Murders Dog Found Alive At Gruesome Crime Scene ... Now Living With 'Responsible Party'

The savage killer/killers of 4 Idaho college students spared the life of a dog at the house where the frenzied attack unfolded.

The Moscow Police Department released a statement Monday night, explaining the pooch was found uninjured the night the University of Idaho students were fatally stabbed with a combat knife. The dog was initially placed in the care of Animal Services, and then handed over to a "responsible party." Further details about the canine were not disclosed.

Meanwhile, police dismissed media reports theorizing that the quadruple homicide might have a connection to the recent killing -- and skinning -- of a mini Australian shepherd named Buddy, miles from the crime scene.

Dead animals were also discovered on another residential property, but they were victims of "wildlife activity," cops said.

Moscow PD investigators have been working with the FBI and Idaho State Police to identify the still-at-large assailant/assailants. They opened an FBI tip line requesting anyone with information on the slayings to contact them immediately.

As we reported, police found the bodies of the students inside the home after responding to a 911 call on November 13. Two surviving roommates were also present, but they were apparently asleep and not involved in the attack.

They later called friends to the house because they thought one of the victims had fallen unconscious and wouldn't wake up. Multiple people inside the house spoke with the 911 operator, using one of the roommates' cell phones.

The authorities have maintained the attack was targeted, but they have yet to pin down a specific motive. They also have not located the murder weapon, which is believed to be a military-style knife similar to the one used by Sylvester Stallone's character, Rambo, in the 80s film, "First Blood."

Colorado Shooting Trans Woman Stomped Gunman With Heels ... During LGBTQ Club Shooting

UPDATE

7:47 AM PT -- 11/22 -- A drag queen who says she was performing at Club Q the night of the shooting has tweeted out and corrected Richard's story, saying it was a trans woman, and not a drag queen, who stomped Aldrich out. She continues, "I also want to make it clear, I don’t think Richard knew that she’s not a drag performer. But now that we know, let’s correct it."

UPDATE

A drag queen is one of the heroes who saved an untold number of lives after a gunman opened fire at a Colorado gay nightclub ... stomping on the gunman with her high heels.

Army vet Richard Fierro -- who'd gone to Club Q in Colorado Springs with his family Saturday -- pounced on suspected shooter Anderson Lee Aldrich when the bullets started to fly ... this according to the NY Times.

Fierro clearly knew the drill -- subdue and disarm. As he struggled with Aldrich on the ground, he screamed for backup.

That's when a drag queen at the club ran over and began pummeling the shooter with her high heels. This gave Fierro a clear path, beating Aldrich with his own gun and repeatedly punching him into submission.

Fierro told the NYT he thought he killed him.

Cops swooped in and took Aldrich into custody. Fierro was also taken into custody amid the chaos, but was released an hour later. By all accounts, he's a hero, as is the drag queen.

And there's a tragic twist ... Fierro's daughter's boyfriend Raymond Green Vance, was killed in the massacre.

Idaho Murders 911 Call Came from Cell Phone of Surviving Roommate

Turns out the 911 call that reported the slaughter of 4 University of Idaho students came from the cell phone of one of the surviving roommates ... but police aren't saying who called.

The City of Moscow PD clarified its prior statements late Saturday, acknowledging the phone that was used to make the call, but adding, "the identity of the caller has not been released."

It's unclear why cops don't want the ID known, but they have gone back and forth about whether the community is safe, given that the killer/killers are still on the loose.

Police have said they don't believe the surviving roommates were involved in the stabbings. What's puzzling ... authorities believe the murders occurred sometime around 3 AM, but the 911 call wasn't made until noon -- 9 hours later.

Weirdly, the 911 call -- logged at 11:58 AM, November 13 -- requested assistance for an unconscious person ... yet police say it was a bloodbath inside, with blood seeping through the walls onto the exterior of the house.

A big clue seems to be a series of calls made shortly after the victims returned home ... one of them called a guy named Jack a total of 7 times while another tried 3 times, but police offered no further information.

Detectives are on the hunt for surveillance video from 3 AM to 6 AM Sunday, November 13. They're looking at nearby businesses and homes in the area.

It appears some of the victims put up a fight, given they had defensive wounds. Police believe the victims were asleep when the attack began. Police said early on this was a "targeted" attack.

Cops have not found the murder weapon, although they have checked local businesses to see if a Rambo-like knife had been recently sold.

Two of the victims were at a food truck shortly before then went home for the night and just a few hours before they were murdered.

CBS News Suspends Tweets Company-Wide ... Amid Twitter Uncertainty

CBS has started what could be a devastating ripple effect on Twitter ... hitting the pause button, indefinitely, on posting new tweets amid uncertainty under Elon Musk's stewardship.

The network's news division, CBS News, announced Friday it'd be suspending all Twitter activity from its official profiles as it continues to monitor things. CBS News says it's doing this out of an abundance of caution and in light of all the tumultuous updates.

Word of CBS News' decision was first reported Friday during that night's broadcast of "CBS Evening News with Norah O'Donnell," during which reporter Jonathan Vigliotti seemingly announced the move on behalf of the entire company. CBS confirmed it shortly thereafter.

Vigliotti was reporting on the rumored chaos at the bird app's HQ ... where a majority of employees are said to have quit recently, leaving Twitter as a bare-bones operation and at risk of completely shutting down. That hasn't happened quite yet, but the fear is there.

CBS News's last original tweet links to a story about ex-WH Press Sec. Jen Psaki's failed effort to quash a subpoena she's been roped into. The account also retweeted a TV segment discussing the DOJ's new special counsel investigating Trump. Both of those were posted almost a full 24 hours ago, and CBS News hasn't tweeted anything new since.

Ditto for local affiliates, it seems. KPIX -- the Bay Area's CBS News arm -- hasn't tweeted anything since yesterday either ... and that policy seems to apply to most, if not all, of CBS's stations across the country. We should note, they're still posting stories to their home pages.

The reason this is a big deal -- assuming it carries on for an extended amount of time -- is because Twitter has become the go-to source for news ... not just for users, but for news organizations themselves. A lot of outlets rely on Twitter to get news out quickly, not to mention the traffic captured as one of the key social media sites and the wide reach it carries.

CBS News refusing to tweet is a major statement, and if it catches on among other big publishers ... it could make Twitter even less relevant, sparking a true mass exodus.

Meanwhile, Elon is still amusing himself with his by-the-people Trump Twitter poll ... and pulling together a new plan on code with whatever staff he has left. Good times, indeed.

Raleigh Christmas Parade Out-Of-Control Truck Kills Dancer Stopped by Bystanders

UPDATE

12:27 PM PT -- Multiple reports now confirm the girl who was hit by the runaway truck has died.

A truck that had malfunctioned during a parade route in North Carolina hit a young woman in a freak accident ... only to have been stopped in its tracks by a group of brave men.

This incident went down Saturday morning near downtown Raleigh, where the annual Christmas parade was being held. Around 10:25 AM ET, a lifted pickup truck that was pulling one of the floats failed to slow down as it was trailing a dance group full of young people.

The driver was reportedly blasting his horn and shouting at people to clear the lane, as he had lost control of the vehicle and couldn't stop. It seems the brakes may have failed.

Videos of the truck wading through is absolutely terrifying, as no one seems to know what's going on or if it's part of the parade or not. It definitely wasn't ... and the truck rolled on and began picking up speed. Some of the dancers were reportedly as young as 5 years old.

Reports say the truck started to hit a downhill area just after the intersection of Hillsborough Street and Boylan Ave. -- and after the crowd realized what was happening ... cops and other bystanders sprung into action, running in front of the truck and pushing back on it.

About 6 men, including 2 cops, halted the truck to a standstill ... at which point the driver was able to exit. Some damage had already been done though -- at least one girl, who was with the dance troupe, was struck and hospitalized. The extent of her injuries are unknown.

The rest of the parade was canceled and an investigation is underway.

University of Idaho Murders Two of the Slain Students Frantically Called Friend ... Just Before All 4 Were Slaughtered

Two of the slain University of Idaho students made a series of frantic phone calls to their friend just before all 4 victims were massacred, this according to one of their relatives.

Kaylee Goncalves, 21, was found butchered with Madison Mogen, 21, Ethan Chapin, 20, and his girlfriend, Xana Kernodle, 20, following Sunday's savage attack inside an off campus residence in Moscow, Idaho. The killer/killers have not been identified and are still at large.

Kaylee’s sister, Alivea, sat down Friday with "Inside Edition" and revealed her sibling initially placed 6 CALLS to a pal named “Jack" between 2:26 AM and 2:44 AM. Then Madison phoned Jack 3 times before Kaylee gave it one more shot. Jack apparently never answered.

Also Friday, the Moscow Police Department and Latah County Coroner released new details on the probe ... the victims were each stabbed several times as they awoke from their sleep. Some of them had defensive wounds. None were sexually assaulted.

Police believe the two surviving roommates did not participate in the slayings and were also sleeping at the time. Luckily, the pair escaped unharmed, but they did not call 911 for whatever reason. The name of the 911 caller -- who phoned police 9 hours AFTER the murders -- has not been publicly released.

As we reported, investigators believe the attack was targeted, but have not pinpointed an exact motive. They have been searching high and low for the murder weapon -- a combat knife similar to the one used by Sylvester Stallone's character, Rambo, in the '80s film, "First Blood."

Elizabeth Holmes Sentenced to 11 Years In Prison

Elizabeth Holmes has been sentenced to 11 years behind bars in her fraud trial.

The founder of the failed blood-testing start-up, Theranos, was sentenced on Friday by a judge in a federal court in San Jose, California. She was given 11.25 years behind bars and 3 years of supervised release. The sentence will begin April 2023.

FACING THE COURT

As we've reported, Holmes was convicted on of 4 of 11 charges she was facing in her fraud trial earlier this year -- one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and 3 counts of wire fraud.

She was charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud and multiple counts of wire fraud for deceiving investors, patients and advertisers ... all in search of money and fame. She was found not guilty on 4 counts ... the jury couldn't reach a verdict on 3 of the counts.

During the trial, Holmes testified that she had good intentions and put her trust in the scientists behind the start-up company. It was also revealed during sentencing she's pregnant with her second child ... she also addressed the court, getting emotional and took responsibility for Theranos -- apologizing to investors.

Holmes also recited a quote from the poet Rumi, saying, "Yesterday I tried to change the world. Today I'm wise, and want to change myself."

The billion-dollar company promised it could perform cheaper and easier blood testing, but it was later revealed its devices could only successfully complete 12 tests ... instead of Elizabeth's claim of 1,000. The company shut down 3 years later.

There's been a documentary, a best-selling book, a podcast and a drama series -- "The Dropout" --- all centered around the company's downfall.

She started the company when she was 19 ... back in 2003.

Taylor Swift Resale Seats Hit $20K+!!! After Ticketmaster Cancels Tour's Public On-Sale

Taylor Swift fans lucky enough to get their hands on presale tickets could cash in for tens of thousands of dollars now -- the resale market is absolutely exploding in the wake of Ticketmaster canceling the public sale.

We've checked out seat maps on StubHub in some of the biggest cities Taylor will hit next year on her Eras tour, and the pricing is insane. Mind you, Taylor's doing multiple shows in each city -- so, the following astronomical costs are PER ticket for Saturday shows (typically the most popular) in each city.

Fans hoping to score tickets for Taylor's SoFi Stadium in L.A. show will fork over a minimum of $400, and that's behind the stage ... while the most expensive seat is currently listed at $4,549.

You can score some nosebleeds for $765 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, or shell out $11,475 for the floor.

However, those prices pale in comparison to the $22,500 you'll pay to see Taylor from the front row at Gillette Stadium in suburban Boston, and the "cheap" seats are $675. There's also Soldier Field in Chicago, where you can sit in the nosebleeds for $800 and land a floor seat for around $5,000.

As we reported, Swifties spiraled this week after Ticketmaster seemingly botched the presale -- causing millions of fans to wait online for several hours to secure seats to Taylor's first tour in years. Turns out they're the lucky ones.

Far more fans got zippo, and will now have to pay through the nose. Honestly, they'll be the ones singing "Look what you made me do" ... to Ticketmaster!!!

Things got so bad, Ticketmaster announced Thursday the general public on-sale, scheduled for Friday, was canceled "due to extraordinarily high demands on ticketing systems and insufficient remaining ticket inventory to meet that demand."

NASA's finally heading back to the moon ... its new rocket has finally successfully launched -- and without a hitch -- after months of delays due to a slew of issues.

The Artemis I mission kicked off early Wednesday morning at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, FL ... beginning a 25-day mission that'll set the company back 4 billion big ones.

The Orion capsule sits on top of the rocket ... and it'll detach and soar about 60 miles above the moon before coming back to Earth. Don't worry, though -- the only passengers on this test flight are mannequins.

As we reported, there's a lot riding on this mission -- it's the first launch of the massive, most powerful rocket ever ... and it could forge a path for astronauts to revisit our moon as early as 2024.

DOCKED FOR THE DAY
NASA

The launch was set to go down at the end of August, but had issues left and right -- including a thunderstorm, lightning bolts striking towers near the rocket, and even a fuel leak.

Looks like NASA's pulled it together -- all that's left now is for folks to start conspiracy theorizing it's not REALLY the moon Artemis is orbiting.

Ticketmaster Clears Up Swift Concert Chaos ... Hang In There!!!

Ticketmaster is in shambles over fans trying to snag Taylor Swift tickets -- and the company's message to frustrated customers is ... bear with us!

The singer's Eras concert is all the rage, and it shows after Ticketmaster's site experienced all kinds of issues Tuesday as folks tried to get their hands on presale passes ... which kinda broke their page, leaving tons of would-be buyers in limbo.

Swifties were up in arms, and Ticketmaster heard all the outrage ... because they issued a statement to calm the waters. Right off the bat, they note there's unprecedented demand for tickets and those who are still in the queue to buy should remain there to the end.

TM says they're still pushing through all the orders they have, but it's just taking time ... ensuring anyone in line will get attended to eventually.

Those on the West Coast, however -- who had their own window today to snatch up tickets at 10 AM PT -- were bumped out to later in the day ... 3 PM PT. There's also another sale window through Capital One that's being rescheduled entirely ... for tomorrow at 2 PM.

Despite all the chaos, Ticketmaster says all presale codes sent out will still work, even now.

Wings Over Dallas Airshow Goes Wrong ... 2 Planes Collide Midair, Crash

UPDATE

7:56 AM PT -- 11/13 -- The Dallas County Medical Examiner has confirmed that all 6 crew members died in the mid-air plane collision.

UPDATE

1:32 PM PT -- Air Force officials tell TMZ ... there were 6 people total affected by the crash, although their status remains unclear at this point. 5 crew members were on the B-17, and one was on P-63.

An apparent tragedy is unfolding in Dallas, where two planes collided while in the air and then hit the earth in a fiery crash ... this amid a performance for Veterans Day weekend.

The horrific incident unfolded Saturday around 11:30 AM PT outside of the Dallas Executive Airport, where a WWII-themed airshow was being put on for the public ... Wings Over Dallas. It looks they were flying aircraft from back then ... single-engine bombers and the like.

The FAA says the planes in question were a Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress and a Bell P-63. As the B-17 (the larger aircraft) is heading toward the airport, the smaller P-63 seems to come out of nowhere and clips the back of it ... which sends both of them plummeting.

Tons of people were filming this moment, BTW, and you can hear their utter shock when the two planes collide and start going down. They're even more freaked out when they each hit the ground and fireballs explode in the air. Almost immediately, you can also hear sirens.

There are several angles all over the internet -- it looks like the larger plane was split in half on impact. This was happening relatively close to a crowd of people too ... who were watching from the outskirts of the airport. A man came on the intercom and tried keeping everyone calm, telling them to remain in place and refrain from too much cell phone activity.

It's unclear for now how many people were onboard each plane, or what sort of injuries were sustained. We know first responders are on the scene, and the area's been roped off.

We're reaching out to officials in Dallas to get an update on the status of things. An investigation by the FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board is underway.

FL Airport Bust Gun Stuffed in Raw Chicken!!! TSA Stops Fowl Play

TSA agents in South Florida aren't pullin' anyone's wing after confiscating a raw chicken -- one that turned out to be fully loaded.

The Transportation Security Administration posted the raw crime Monday ... showing the offending bird stuffed with a handgun after it was seized at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.

The bird seemed to be completely packaged, with the firearm wrapped up tight in plastic and then jammed into the bird ... a pretty dangerous spin on the whole Turducken craze.

Chickens -- raw or cooked -- are ok to travel with passengers, according to TSA's guidelines, but obviously, firearms inside said chicken ... ain't gonna fly.

FYI -- the airports in FL have seen a MAJOR spike in illegal guns at security checkpoints ... with 700 total found across the state so far this year, but we're guessing nothing like this.

Important PSA in November: check your bird carefully before cooking and carving!!!

The dramatic footage started circulating Monday ... it wasn't clear when the attempted heist went down.

Prosecutors said the suspect, whose name was not released since he's a juvenile, was part of a retail theft ring in Bellevue.

Nancy Pelosi is going after Elon Musk for using his newly-purchased social media platform to push conspiracies about the Paul Pelosi attack ... calling the new Twitter owner destructive.

The Speaker of The House sat down for an interview with CNN's Anderson Cooper, and she laid into Elon and former President Donald Trump when Anderson asked her about influential folks spreading misinformation about the attack on her husband.

Nancy referenced the incendiary tweet Elon posted and deleted ... the one where Elon alleged there may be more to the story than meets the eye, adding a link to a fringe site with a salacious headline about Paul and his attacker.

She told Anderson it's "really sad for the country" to see people with large platforms -- like Musk and Trump -- "separate themselves from the facts and the truth in such a blatant way."
