Sean Astin says if his mom, Patty Duke, were still alive today ... she'd be marching on Capitol Hill to demand answers why her name was fraudulently used to oppose net neutrality.
A little backstory -- Sean's bro, actor Mackenzie Astin, called out the FCC Thursday in a now viral tweet, asking why their mom's name was used in 3 separate comments in support of ending net neutrality more than a year after she died.
Hey, @AjitPaiFCC, today my mom would have turned 71. But she didn't. Because she died in March of 2016. Can you please take the time to explain to me how she made three separate comments in support of ending #NetNeutrality more than a year after she died?

So we got Sean at LAX Friday night and asked how he felt, and it's clear he's troubled by it ... and thinks the American public should be too.
As for what to do next, Sean says he's going to follow his brother's lead ... so the FCC better watch out.

KYLE Amazed by Wildfire Relief Efforts But Help's Still Needed!!!
KYLE's deeply moved by his hometown of Ventura banding together amid raging wildfires ... but says there's still a lot to do to help victims out.
We got the "iSpy" rapper at LAX Friday, and he tells us he's been floored by the humanity people have shown for those in need, but he's pleading to not let up ... and says he's got some big stuff planned to help out too.
As of Saturday, the Thomas Fire is the state's third largest in history and is still only 40 percent contained. Since the blaze began, it's destroyed over 1,000 structures (about 750 homes) and burned 260,000 acres.
More than 8,000 firefighters have been battling the fire, but like KYLE says ... it's going to take everyone chipping in to get through the disaster.

Omarosa I'm Back in D.C. ... No Questions, Please!!!
Omarosa has returned to Washington D.C. and, for once, she's trying to keep a very low profile ... and succeeding!
Nearly 48 hours after her exit from the White House ... Omarosa was back inside the Beltway. We spotted her right after she landed at Reagan National around 5:30 PM ET, but as soon as she saw us ... she bolted. Literally.
She made the most of her winter coat, bundling up and concealing her face -- and that was before she stepped outside. Seems Omarosa's trying to avoid questions about President Trump, or what happened Tuesday night at the White House.
As we reported, she'd love to score a new government gig. CIA, check out these covert moves.

Senator Gillibrand Trump is Trying to Silence Me ... With 'Sexist Smear' Tweet
Senator Kirsten Gillibrand is firing back at President Trump and vowing to keep fighting him ... on the heels of him saying she'd "do anything" for campaign cash.
We got the U.S. Senator from New York Tuesday morning on Capitol Hill, just a few hours after the President tweeted and called Gillibrand a "total flunky" who had begged him for donations. The shot many call "slut-shaming" came when Trump claimed the Senator "would do anything" for his money.
Lightweight Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, a total flunky for Chuck Schumer and someone who would come to my office “begging” for campaign contributions not so long ago (and would do anything for them), is now in the ring fighting against Trump. Very disloyal to Bill & Crooked-USED!
@realDonaldTrump
Gillibrand doesn't seem fazed, and dismissed Trump's tweet as a "sexist smear" -- and suggested he better not hold his breath waiting for her to back down.
Gillibrand called for 45's resignation Monday after Trump's accusers called for Congress to investigate him for sexual misconduct.

NYC Pipe Bomber to Trump 'You Failed to Protect' America
The New York City bomber allegedly went on Facebook just before setting off a homemade device and told President Trump he'd failed to protect the U.S.A.
According to the federal criminal complaint filed Tuesday against Akayed Ullah, the bomber took to the social media site with his message to the Prez while on the way to the Port Authority subway before the explosion.
Per the docs, obtained by TMZ, Ullah allegedly wrote ... "Trump you failed to protect your nation" ... which prosecutors say he posted Monday morning before the incident. They go on to say the message was written with ISIS in mind.
During a presser about the attack, US Attorney Joon Kim also revealed a search of Ullah's apartment uncovered a handwritten note that read, "Oh America Die In Your Rage."
As we reported ... Ullah was captured alive after detonating what many called a pipe bomb strapped to his person. Three other people were injured, leaving one temporarily deaf.
As for Trump ... he released a statement Monday essentially saying his travel ban was necessary to prevent attacks like this. Sounds like he'll have more ammo for that point now.

California Wildfires Burned Highway Bunny Recovering
The burned bunny rescued from one of California's wildfires -- seen in a viral video -- is recovering well and could be released back into the wild soon. Take that, 2017 bad news!
The female cottontail suffered burns to both her ears and feet and was taken to the California Wildlife Center in Malibu after hopping into the flames of the Thomas fire ... which has scorched about 230,000 acres in Southern California.
She was rescued by 21-year-old Caleb Wadman, the dude seen wearing a red sweatshirt in that video, and although the move was super risky, some say the furball wouldn't have survived if he hadn't intervened.

Elon Musk Over the Moon for Trump & Space ... Rep. Wilson Calls BS
Elon Musk doesn't care if President Trump or Buzz Aldrin himself says it -- he's all for sending humans back to the moon.
We got Tesla's CEO leaving No Name Club in WeHo Monday night and asked what he thought of Trump's Space Policy Directive 1, which orders NASA to start working on a program to send astronauts back to the moon and, eventually, Mars.
Elon might as well have screamed "To Infinity and Beyond," 'cause that's how giddy he is -- despite having huge political differences with Trump in the past.
Same can't be said for Rep. Frederica Wilson ... who's calling out 45 for throwing up a big space smoke screen.
Frederica was at Reagan National when she told us Trump's using NASA to distract from the Russia investigation -- but she believes there's NO chance it'll work.

Al Sharpton Feel Bad for Keaton But Tell His Mom to Cut Confederate BS
Rev. Al Sharpton says support for Keaton Jones should come with a big string attached ... now that it appears Keaton's mother has strong views about racism and the confederate flag.
Sharpton was outside NBC Studios in NYC when he told us the celebs who offered support, or even trips, to Keaton and his mom ... should demand Keaton teach his mother, Kimberly Jones, a thing or 2 about compassion.
The way Sharpton sees it, Kimberly wants the world to show her 11-year-old son sympathy for dealing with school bullies -- even though her confederate flag pics show support for slavery ... or as he puts it, "institutional state bullying."
To be clear, the civil rights leader isn't calling for celebs and non-celebs to abandon Keaton -- but he IS saying Keaton's mother needs to learn a lesson as much as the kids who bullied her son do.

Roy Moore's Wife We're Not Anti-Semites ... Some of Our Best Lawyers Are Jews
Roy Moore and his wife rolled out that old tried-and-true response to allegations they're anti-Semitic -- pointing out they employ Jews.
Kayla Moore was speaking at an event for her husband Monday night in Alabama, on the eve of the special Senate election, when she made the cringeworthy comment.
Kayla Moore, wife of Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore, accuses media of painting couple as anti-Semitic. pic.twitter.com/Vcczj6pNPv
@NBCNews
Kayla said the "fake news" would have you believe they don't care for Jews, and she wanted to set the record straight once and for all. Not sure this shout-out to their legal team will get the job done, but here it is.
Kayla added some of their closest friends are Jewish, too. Seriously. That's almost word-for-word how she said it.
As the Moore's inner circle might say ... oy vey!

Keaton Jones GoFundMe Problems Account On Hold, $58k Left Hanging!!!
There's a big hiccup in online fundraising efforts for Keaton Jones -- one GoFundMe page has been shut down altogether, and another's on hold with nearly $60,000 unspoken for.
GoFundMe tells us the page labeled "Stand Up for Keaton," which was opened 2 days ago, is no longer accepting donations. Since Keaton's anti-bullying message went viral over the weekend, the page has pulled in $58,249 in donations ... however the guy who started it is putting the charity on hold. GoFundMe says it needs to contact Keaton's mom, Kimberly Jones, to ensure she's the beneficiary ... since the guy who started the page doesn't know her. So far, the company's been unable to reach her.
There was a second GoFundMe page, purportedly started by Kimberly herself which solicited money for Keaton's Christmas gifts. Sources close to the situation tell us that was immediately shut down by GoFundMe due to fraud concerns -- namely, whether it was really started by Kimberly.
Further complicating the fundraising are social media postings from the real Kimberly Jones. As we reported ... photos of her with the Confederate flag and comments about whining "butt hurt Americans" have sparked an online backlash.
The guy behind the "Stand Up for Keaton" page even reacted, saying, "THIS IS NOT ABOUT THE MOM!!" He added he doesn't know the Jones family, but just wanted to help a kid who's been bullied.

NYC Pipe Bomber Captured Alive and Identified Inspired by ISIS
The guy who strapped a pipe bomb to himself and set it off in an NYC subway has been captured alive ... and police say it was "absolutely an attempted terrorist act."
The bomber, now identified as 27-year-old Akayed Ullah, was walking in one of the tunnels underneath NYC's Port Authority when the bomb went off. It appears something malfunctioned, or it was a very small explosive ... police captured the man at the scene.
NYPD says Ullah has been living in the U.S. for 7 years. He's a Bangladeshi immigrant, and police say the attack was definitely a terrorist act, inspired by ISIS.
FDNY says a total of 4 people were hurt in the bombing ... all non-life-threatening injuries. The Port Authority shut down all subways and the walking tunnels near the bombing.
Story developing ...

Terry Crews on P.O.Y. Honor TIME for Accountability Hollywood Needs to Be Disciplined
Terry Crews says he wasn't expecting to be in TIME's "Person of the Year" cover story -- but thinks the nod only helps his mission ... accountability in Hollywood.
We got the actor Sunday leaving LAX with his wife, Rebecca, and asked how it felt to be featured as one of the many "Silence Breakers" on the magazine's P.O.Y. cover this year.
Terry says he didn't see it coming, and explains why there needs to be more voices speaking out on sexual harassment ... and how this could be just the tip of the iceberg.
He also tells us why he's suing WME and their talent agent, Adam Venit, who allegedly grabbed his junk last year. Long story short ... Hollywood needs an ass-whoopin' on this issue ... and Terry's here to do the honors.

Ellen DeGeneres New Carpinteria Home Under Threat of Wildfires
4:50 PM PT -- Rob Lowe has evacuated his home due to the Thomas Fire.
Ellen DeGeneres' new beach side house is now under threat of being scorched by SoCal wildfires ... and it sounds like she's starting to evacuate.
Our house is under threat of being burned. We just had to evacuate our pets. I’m praying for everyone in our community and thankful to all the incredible firefighters. The live stream is on https://t.co/FTcKVvHO16
@TheEllenShow
Ellen tweeted Sunday that she just had to evacuate her pets from her recently purchased beach house in Carpinteria, for which she plunked down $18.6 million in October.
It's unclear if Ellen herself is being ordered to leave, or if she's already left, but it sure seems like the flames near her -- now dubbed the Thomas Fire -- are starting to get too close for comfort. So far, it's reportedly burned at least 200,000 acres in the area.
The fire has also spread to Montecito, which is home to tons of celebs who could potentially end up being affected, such as Oprah, Jeff Bridges, Drew Barrymore, Rob Lowe, and Patrick Stewart ... just to name a few.
Looks like Ellen is already taking precautions. Our advice to everyone else ... get out.

Bella Hadid Joins 'Free Palestine' Protest
Bella Hadid is very vocally making it clear she's pissed about President Trump officially recognizing Jerusalem as Israel's capital city.
The supermodel marched with "Free Palestine" protesters outside the U.S. Embassy in London. They chanted, "Hands off Jerusalem."
It's one of many such protests going on around the world after a Palestinian extremist group called for a "day of rage" in response to Trump's decision. It's unclear exactly how long Bella marched with the group. She'd been partying earlier in the evening at a nearby event.
Bella's action shouldn't be surprising. Her father, Mohamed Hadid -- who is Palestinian -- told us why he's disappointed by the Jerusalem move.

Dan Rather Burger Boner!!! Loses In-N-Out Virginity
Dan Rather just broke a BIG story that changes everything -- for him, at least, because the legendary newsman just bit into his first In-N-Out burger!
Dan was seriously moved by the experience after making the long-awaited fast food stop in the Bay Area. Yeah, he's 86 years old, but as he wrote ... "I can honestly say it was worth the wait."
The CBS news vet is touring to promote his book, "What Unites Us." Sounds like he found a new chapter in between the patties of a double-double: "When in doubt, I now will 'In N Out.' And a great milkshake can certainly be a big part of #WhatUnitesUs."
Don't forget the fries, Dan.

Kim Davis Gay County Clerk Opponent I'm Not Running Out of Revenge
The guy running against Kim Davis -- who once denied him a marriage license because he's gay -- says he's not gunning for her job out of revenge.
We spoke to David Ermold about his campaign for Rowan County Clerk in Kentucky. As we reported ... he actually had to turn in his candidate paperwork to Davis herself. We asked him what it was like coming face-to-face with her, and while he admits it was tense -- it doesn't sound like it was a battle royal.
Surprisingly, Dave doesn't have 1 mean thing to say about Kim, even though she screwed him. Like he says -- no grudges here, just time for a change in ideas ... and he certainly walks that walk.
