22 people were injured and an 18-year-old woman was killed.

Law enforcement sources tell us Rojas admitted smoking marijuana before driving, and when he was captured he told cops he wanted them to shoot him.

Roger Ailes Dead at 77 After Suffering Fall

2:20 PM PT -- The coroner just release Ailes' cause of death, saying he died of complications from bleeding on the brain.

Roger Ailes -- architect of FOX News -- has died, and TMZ learned his passing came days after a serious fall.

Sources tell TMZ Ailes fell at his Florida home 8 days ago and hit his head. We're told Ailes fell unconscious and his condition went downhill. Our sources say he was put into an induced coma and died Thursday morning.

Ailes was suffering from numerous and serious health problems, which we're told contributed to his death.

Elizabeth Ailes says, "I am profoundly sad and heartbroken to report that my husband, Roger Ailes, passed away this morning."

"Roger was a loving husband to me, to his son Zachary, and a loyal friend to many. He was also a patriot, profoundly grateful to live in a country that gave him so much opportunity to work hard, to rise -- and to give back."

"During a career that stretched over more than five decades, his work in entertainment, in politics, and in news affected the lives of many millions. And so even as we mourn his death, we celebrate his life."

Ailes launched the careers of some of the biggest names in news including Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, Megyn Kelly and Greta Van Susteren.

Ailes was forced out of FOX News after allegations of sexual harassment surfaced. He resigned in July.

WHAT'S THE BIG DEAL?!
SIRIUSXM

Howard Stern returned to the airwaves Monday and he was pretty dumbfounded -- why all the fuss over a day off?

The self-proclaimed "King of All Media" addressed what many considered a controversial day off last week. You'll recall the Internet went into a frenzy Wednesday when Stern was a no-show for his SiriusXM radio show.

There was a bunch of speculation as to why Stern took the day off, including a death in the family. Fans were stunned ... claiming Stern's NEVER taken a day off before.

But the shock jock addressed the subject head-on Monday ... clarifying that it wasn't a personal day. It was a sick day.

Not to worry ... it's clear he's fine, since he joked about the bizarre episode.

Spirit Airlines Pissed Off Passengers Brawl After 11 Flights Canceled

Spirit Airlines shoulda seen it coming -- a group of angry passengers escalated their rage into a full-on brawl that included cops following the airline's cancellation of 11 flights at a Florida airport.

The incident went down Monday at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport where a damn near riot unfolded after passengers started yelling and pounding on the counter.

Attempts by security to calm the masses failed before cops stepped in ... only for cops to then get dragged into the melee. At least 3 people were reportedly arrested.

Spirit -- which also had 26 flights delayed -- is in the middle of a union dispute with the Airline Pilots Association and its pilots, who refused to fly out of protest.

A spokesman for Spirit tells us, "We are shocked and saddened to see the videos of what took place at Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport. This is a result of unlawful labor activity by some Spirit pilots designed to disrupt Spirit operations for our customers, by canceling multiple flights across our network."

Donald Trump 'I'm President! Can You Believe it?'

NOT TOO SHABBY
FOX News

President Trump didn't shy away from gloating after the House passed the GOP's new health care bill -- and, in fact, decided it was the perfect time to point out ... he's the president.

Yeah, it was kinda weird when Trump said, "I'm the president. Can ya believe it?" It might have been a rhetorical question, but we're guessing it had most of his critics shouting at their TVs.

Trump's braggadocious point -- Look at me, and look at what I've accomplished already.

Suck it, 100 days ... is what we imagine he's saying in his head.

Mark Zuckerberg Guess Who's Coming to Dinner?

Mark Zuckerberg completely shocked an Ohio family by crashing dinner at their house to talk politics ... among other things.

Daniel Moore tells TMZ ... he got a call last week from a Facebook staffer who asked if a "wealthy philanthropist who works in California" could come over for a meal. He was told the mystery guest was traveling around the country to meet middle class families so he could figure out how to invest his money.

Moore says it was a "jaw-dropping moment" when Zuckerberg was the one to appear at his door Friday night.

We're told they discussed many topics -- including why the Moore family voted for Donald Trump -- and Zuck was respectful and agreeable on many things ... like there being a lack of high-paying manufacturing jobs.

And in case you're wondering ... Zuckerberg told them he has no political aspirations right now.

Mark had the food catered for the family by a local restaurant -- chicken, baked fish, salad and sweet tea -- and even brought them some wine and cannolis for dessert.

Zuckerberg announced in January he's challenging himself to visit with people in all 50 states this year to see how they live.

He can check Ohio off the list.

We got the "This is Us" and "The People vs. O.J. Simpson" star out in Bev Hills, and he says one of the biggest differences between then and now ... people actually believe there's a problem.

As you know, today marks the 25th anniversary since the not guilty verdicts in the Rodney King LAPD police officer trial, which almost immediately triggered the riots.

Master P Biopic Director Saves Wheelchair-Bound Man From Burning House

THE HERO IN ACTION

Production on Master P's biopic indirectly saved the life an elderly man when a house went up in flames.

The movie's director, Jeff Reyes, tells us he was scouting shoot locations in New Orleans a couple weeks ago when he and his cinematographer came upon the burning building. He says they asked if anyone needed help, and were told a wheelchair-bound man was trapped inside.

Reyes, who was in the Army, says they covered themselves to fight off the smoke, and then rushed inside to find the guy. They lifted him out of his chair and carried him to safety outside. Much of the rescue was recorded by a witness.

The title of the Master P flick is "King of the South." At least one NOLA resident would say that applies to Reyes too.

Pro Golfer Matt Goggin United Went All Dao On My Clubs!

Matt Goggin wants justice for his broken golf clubs -- he's just afraid to demand it from United Airlines for fear of getting manhandled a la Dr. David Dao.

The Australian pro golfer's pissed off about 3 of his clubs getting snapped at the head. As he put it ... it's the first time in more than 20 years his gear got destroyed in flight.

Naturally, Goggin was looking to give someone an earful -- if only he had flown a different airline. He tweeted, "I was going to complain but I must admit I'm a little intimidated by @united."

He's obviously referring to the infamous video of Dao getting jacked up.

Lucky for Matt, TaylorMade Golf responded and promised to replace the clubs. As for United? Maybe they've just got bigger fish to fry.

Dr. David Dao's Lawyer Repping Mom from American Airlines 'Her Concern Was Her Child'

BEDLAM ONBOARD

Dr. David Dao's lawyer from the United incident is now on board for the mom from the American Airlines incident, but it sounds like this one ain't going to court.

Attorney Tom Demetrio went on "Today" Monday morning to announce he's representing her, and clarifies she was not actually struck by the stroller, but says the flight attendant came damn close to hitting his client's baby.

He admits the fact that neither mother nor child were actually struck means a lawsuit probably won't happen. As we reported, American suspended the employee, apologized for his actions and upgraded the mother to first class for the remainder of her trip to Argentina.

Meanwhile, Demetrio says Dr. Dao is still hurt from the United confrontation, and confirms what we already suspected ... they're filing suit.

Bill O'Reilly Pope Meeting Not Enough to Save Job

Bill O'Reilly had what turned out to be an 11th hour meeting with Pope Francis -- but even shaking hands with His Holiness wasn't enough to spare his gig at FOX News.

Bill was in St. Peter's Square Wednesday morning -- he'd been on vacation -- when he got an audience with the Pontiff. Just a quick meet and greet really ... handshake, exchange of salutations.

But put yourself in Bill's shoes at the time -- wouldn't ya have to ask for a prayer or two?

As we reported ... FOX News announced O'Reilly would not return to the network after about 70 advertisers pulled out amid allegations of sexual harassment against him.

Only so much a Pope can do.

Roddy White Retires ... Officially

It's officially over for Roddy White -- the NFL wide receiver just announced his retirement from pro football after 11 years with the Falcons.

White was cut from the Falcons in March 2016 after a pretty stellar career in ATL -- 4 Pro Bowls, over 10,000 receiving yards on more than 800 catches and 63 TDs. He was hoping to sign with another team in 2017 but never caught on.

Now, the WR is hangin' up the cleats officially ...saying, "I'm officially retired from football and welcome the second phase of my life."

He added, "I would like to thank Arthur Blank and the falcons organization for a great 11 years. The city of Atlanta I love y'all so much."

White is now beginning his career as a high school football coach and says, "I'm going to have a lot of fun with these young kids and win some games."

United Airlines CEO Apologizes to Dao, Passengers ... We'll 'Do the Right Thing'

United Airlines' CEO is taking a much more apologetic stance about the doctor who was forcibly dragged off a United plane, and promising to make big changes.

Oscar Munoz issued a statement saying ... "The truly horrific event that occurred on this flight has elicited many responses from all of us: outrage, anger, disappointment. I share all of those sentiments, and one above all: my deepest apologies for what happened." He extended the apology to Dr. David Dao and all passengers on the Sunday flight.

Munoz went on to say United takes full responsibility for the incident, and promises to look into better methods to deal with anything like this in the future.

On Monday, as the backlash against United was building, Munoz emailed all employees to say he fully stood behind the crew members' actions in dealing with Dao.

His tone's changed now, saying ... "It's never too late to do the right thing" and "we are going to fix what's broken so this never happens again." Interestingly, he says they'll review polices on incentivizing volunteers in overbooking situations.

Translation: Offering more money could be an easier way to diffuse these matters.

-- Russia ... she blames Putin for meddling in the election and having an aversion to strong women

-- Misogyny ... she thinks a lot of people just couldn't handle a woman Prez

-- FBI Director Comey ... she says he torpedoed her with his email probe 2 weeks before the election

-- WikiLeaks ... she says the leaks and Comey were like a 1-2 punch

She does admit she could have done some things better.
