Tulsa Shooting Officer Charged with Manslaughter

The police officer who shot and killed Terence Crutcher Friday has been charged with first-degree manslaughter.

Prosecutors in Tulsa, Oklahoma announced the charge Thursday against officer Betty Shelby, who fired the lone shot that killed Crutcher. He was unarmed at the time of the shooting, and video of the incident showed he had his hands raised throughout most of the incident.

Shelby's lawyer says the officer opened fire because Crutcher was not following orders and had reached into his SUV window.

D.L. Hughley Calls Out Ray Lewis, Jerry Rice Where's The Outrage Over Terence Crutcher?!

NOW IT'S TIME TO GET UPSET

D.L. Hughley is demanding action from some NFL legends -- calling out Jerry Rice, Ray Lewis and others who condemned Colin Kaepernick ... and asking why they're not as upset about the shooting of Terence Crutcher.

Of course, Crutcher is the 40-year-old black man who was shot by a white police officer in Tulsa while his hands were raised and he appeared to be surrendering.

THE SHOOTING

"All the people from Jerry Rice to Jason Whitlock to Ray Lewis to Rodney Harrison who was so upset about Colin Kaepernick not standing up, I wish all of them were just as upset about Terence Crutcher getting shot down as they were about Colin Kaepernick not standing up," Hughley said.

For reference, here are the previous statements the NFL legends made about Kaepernick:

Jerry Rice -- "All lives matter. So much going on in this world today. Can we all just get along! Colin, I respect your stance but don't disrespect the Flag."

Ray Lewis -- "Listen I understand what you're trying to do, but understand, take the flag out of it. I have uncles, I've got brothers, going into the military, that said I will never see you again. To understand that I will always respect that part of what our patriotism should be. And that's the side that I think if Colin just really steps back, to effect change, to effect true change in what he's trying to say, if you don't have a real solution, if you ain't seen as a true activist, to go into hoods and do these things on a daily basis and not just jump up and just protest off this one thing because you're sick of it -- we've been sick of racism for 400-plus years."

Rodney Harrison -- "I think his heart is in the right place, I just think he was going about it in the wrong way. If he really wants to make change, sitting his butt down [during the anthem], that’s not going to change, that’s going to get people very upset and he has to understand that."

"And I tell you this, I’m a black man. And Colin Kaepernick -- he’s not black. He can not understand what I face and what other young black men and black people face, or people of color face, on a every single [day] basis. When you walk in a grocery store, and you might have $2,000 or $3,000 in your pocket and you go up in to a Foot Locker and they’re looking at you like you about to steal something. I don’t think he faces those types of things.”

Tulsa Shooting Video of Cops Killing Unarmed Man

THE SHOOTING

Video has surfaced showing an unarmed man getting shot and killed as he appeared to be surrendering to police.

40-year-old Terence Crutcher is seen outside his SUV, parked in the middle of a road Friday night in Tulsa, when cops converged on the scene.

A cop in a police helicopter says out of the blue, Crutcher looks "like a bad dude." It appears Crutcher was doing nothing to warrant that description.

Crutcher has his hands raised and then lowers them as he walks toward the vehicle. Police then taser him and shortly thereafter an officer fires shots. You see Crutcher drop to the ground.

The officer who fired the shots told the dispatcher she was not getting cooperation from him.

The Crutcher family lawyer says the man was in the middle of the road because he was having problems with the SUV.

Gene Simmons' hat is off to cops who captured the suspect in the NY/NJ explosions so quickly -- and he has a strong suggestion on how to squash the threat of more terrorism.

The KISS co-founder says it's time for America to embrace profiling because it's the best way for cops to thwart future attacks. His theory might sound Donald Trump-esque, but at LAX ... Gene seemed less than crazy about jumping on that bandwagon.

Check out the video -- he also had some choice words for Ahmad Rahami, and his potential prison life, now that he's been charged for the recent attacks.

Hint: Rahami won't be lonely if Gene gets his wish.

Harambe Forever Memorialized ... By Stoners

Harambe's legacy lives on ... thanks to potheads.

The gorilla that was shot and killed at the Cincinnati Zoo back in May now has his own marijuana wax -- Harambe OG.

The wax -- a THC concentrate similar to hash -- was created for Natural Remedies, a Colorado dispensary.

The lab manager who made the wax tells us he was blanking on a name, but became inspired by the products in the mix -- Gorilla Glue #4, Deadhead OG and Angel OG.

Gorilla + Dead + Angel. Ergo, Harambe.

Harambe OG was just released this week, and it's already selling like hotcakes.

Disney World Sued I Got Bit By A Snake In Your Pool Area!!!

Disney has more than alligator problems ... it's being sued by a Pennsylvania man who claims his right hand is now partially paralyzed, the result of a venomous snake bite.

Michael Barth says back in July 2013, he was swimming at one of the Orlando resort pools when the snake appeared. He says there wasn't a Disney employee in sight, so he tried placing a towel over the snake so it wouldn't attack kids and adults who were at the pool.

Michael says the snake bit him on his right thumb, and he ended up in ICU for 5 days, pumped with 16 vials of anti-venom. He says he now suffers numbness and lost use in his right hand.

It's interesting ... after Lane Graves was killed by a gator, the Disney Resort posted warning signs, cautioning guests of alligators ... and snakes.

Vegas Murder Suspect Breaks Handcuffs, Escapes Police ... In Ezekiel Elliott Jersey

THE ESCAPE

This is insane footage of a murder suspect breaking his handcuffs and escaping a Las Vegas police station on Friday ... while wearing an Ezekiel Elliott jersey.

The Cowboys fan is Alonso Perez -- who was arrested for allegedly murdering a man who didn't hold the door open for a woman at a McDonald's.

Perez was handcuffed and left alone at the Detective Bureau -- with no guard watching over him.

So, Perez used his body weight to twist the chain connecting the cuffs ... and pushed so hard, it eventually snapped.

He then used his chair to climb into the rafters and escaped the building ... then stole a truck that was left running nearby.

Fortunately, cops were able to locate Perez on Tuesday and he's now back in police custody.

North Las Vegas Police Chief Alexander Perez spoke to the media about the situation ... saying, "We're not perfect. The police are simply not perfect. However, we will learn from our mistakes so they are not repeated and that's the goal."

Ryan Lochte More Changes In Robbery Story

Ryan Lochte is changing his tune about the alleged Rio robbery ... sorta ... with new claims about the incident that don't exactly jive with the story he told Billy Bush.

First, Matt Lauer says Lochte now insists he did NOT have a gun pressed up against his forehead during the incident -- but rather, one of the gunmen was pointing the gun in his general direction.

Lauer says he noticed one other difference when he spoke with the swimmer on the phone Wednesday night.

Lochte now says he did not get "pulled over" by men posing as police -- but rather, 2 men approached their taxi while it was parked at a gas station, where Lochte had used the restroom. Lochte says the crew tried to tell the taxi driver to go, but he wouldn't.

Lochte says he feels the differences are nothing more than a "traumatic mischaracterization."

Lauer says he asked Lochte if he made the story up to cover up something else the swimmers were doing that night -- and Ryan adamantly denied that.

The man calls himself an "independent researcher" and makes it clear ... it is in Trump's interest to receive him when he reaches the top of the building. The guy says he's aware of the life-threatening peril but the message is just that important.

Rescue workers continue in vain to coax him down.
