Aaron Judge Goes Champagne Crazy ... After Wild-Card Win
Aaron Judge ain't a rookie when it comes to celebrating his first postseason win ... 'cause the star slugger brought out the big (gold) guns for the Yankees' victory over the Twins Tuesday night.
Judge and his teammate Didi Gregorious went all-out for the team's champagne celebration after winning their wild-card game 8-4 ... poppin' massive bottles of Ace of Spades.
FYI -- a regular bottle of Ace of Spades will set you back around $300 ... so it's an expensive booze shower.
But don't worry, the Yanks have a day off before taking on the Cleveland Indians in the ALDS on Thursday.
Congrats to the Yankees on winning the World Series tonight (via @YESNetwork) pic.twitter.com/1wAEjE6FIM

MLB Commish Rob Manfred Sox Guilty Of Stealing Signs ... Fined Undisclosed Amount
MLB commish Rob Manfred just dropped the hammer on the Red Sox ... fining the club an "undisclosed amount" of money for stealing signs using banned electronic devices.
Baseball investigators determined the BoSox violated MLB rules by "sending electronic communications from their video replay room to an athletic trainer in the dugout."
While Manfred did not specify the amount of the fine ... he did say the cash would go towards Hurricane Irma relief in Florida.
The Sox weren't the only ones lighter in the wallet ... the commish says he determined the Yankees broke a rule prior to the '17 season, so he fined them also.
The amount ... "lesser undisclosed amount" -- also going to storm relief.
We spoke with Manfred last week in D.C. while he was still conducting the investigation ... and he told us the scandal was just a "reflection of competitive activity between two clubs."

MLB Commish Rob Manfred On BoSox Cheating Claims: They Just Wanna Win!
Everybody relax ... MLB commish Rob Manfred says allegations the Red Sox stole signals from the Yankees with an Apple Watch just proves how competitive they are!!!
No, really ... that's what he told us!
We saw the Commish in D.C. this week and asked him about the biggest scandal in baseball -- claims a Red Sox trainer used an Apple Watch to relay Yankees signals to Boston players to give their hitters an advantage.
"Look, I think it's a reflection of competitive activity between two clubs," Manfred told TMZ Sports ... "I'm sure we'll investigate and reach a resolution that preserves the integrity of the game."
When asked if the Red Sox would forfeit the wins from the games in question, Manfred said, "I'm not gonna talk about potential discipline at this point. We haven't even completed the investigation."
The baseball boss did weigh in on another HUGE impact tech could have on the game -- and he definitely ain't about it ... at least not yet.

Kahnle and Yankees manager, Joe Girardi, were both ejected over the pitch -- but Cabrera was still unhappy and straight socked Romine behind home plate.
Pandemonium ensued ... the benches cleared -- and the Yanks relievers came SPRINTING from the bullpen to join the melee.
Cabrera and Romine were both ejected. The game is still underway ...

Reggie Jackson I Love Aaron Judge ... But Half A Season Doesn't Make Him Great
Aaron Judge is killin' it, but don't go retiring his number just yet ... so says Yankees legend Reggie Jackson, who told us the rookie phenom still has a lot more to prove.
Mr. October was RAVING about Judge when we ran into him at LAX -- saying he's showing serious signs that he could be one of the best to ever do it -- but notes, "One half season doesn't make a great player."
It's been a helluva 1/2 season -- already racking up 32 HRs (tied for the MLB lead).
But Reggie warns it doesn't get easier -- Judge is gonna have to make some key adjustments if he wants to be one of the greats.
BONUS -- Reggie also talks sex at the end of the clip ... by accident.
Still funny, though.

In fact, we spoke with the owner of the clothing company, RSVLTS, who tells us Sunday was the company's best sales day ever -- they sold more than TWICE as many shirts as usual (and usual is 100s of units).
Long story short ... Judge is just as hot in the fashion world as he is at the plate.

It's apparently the longest HR ESPN has recorded since 2009, and certainly the longest in the MLB this year. He's got 21 home runs for the 2017 season so far.
Judge is having a helluva week. He knocked out the hardest hit home run of the season earlier this week at 121 mph. See ya!

We also asked the Red Sox legend if Jeter will go down as the greatest Yankee of all time. Papi seemed to sign off on that.
And if baseball's not your thing -- Ortiz also gave us some recommendations on the Dominican food we HAVE to try.

Goose Gossage I Still Kinda Hate Bryce Harper ... But No Lie, Kid Can Play
Goose Gossage still really, really, really doesn't like Bryce Harper and thinks he's a "punk" ... but good news, Bryce ... Gossage doesn't hate you as much as he did back in March!
If you remember ... Goosage threw all kinds of shade on Harper a few months back ... calling him a "fool" and claiming Bryce has no respect for the game.
So, when we ran into the Yankees legend out in NYC ... we wanted to know if he's cooled on Harper ... and could maybe one day see a future with the Nats star in pinstripes.
Answer ... maybe? Gossage semi-unloads on Harper, calling him a "punk" ... but has to admit, the kid's got skills on the baseball diamond.
See ... time does heal some wounds ... kinda.

Yankees GM Brian Cashman Real Interest In Tebow 'Can't Deny There's Potential'
Tim Tebow came a lot closer to following in the footsteps of Babe Ruth and Mickey Mantle than we thought ... because Yankees general manager Brian Cashman tells TMZ Sports the team gave real consideration to signing the ex-NFL star.
"We certainly thought a lot about it," Cashman tells TMZ Sports ... "there’s a lot of characteristics about his reputation and character that are really attractive."
In fact, Cashman says the Yanks sent TWO scouts to Tebow's MLB workout in L.A. last month.
Of course, Tebow ended up signing a minor league contract with the NY Mets -- and Cashman says he thinks the guy could have real value as a baseball player down the road.
"He’s a legitimate athlete, no question about it. So you can’t deny there’s potential, something there. But it’s an uphill battle."
Cashman makes it clear he has nothing but respect for Tebow -- but explains why the Yanks ultimately decided he wasn't the right fit for pinstripes.

Yankees Hero Jim Leyritz I Woulda Let A-Rod Play ... He's Earned It
Jim Leyritz -- the guy who blasted one of the most famous home runs in Yankees World Series History -- says if he was running his ex-team ... he'd let A-Rod play as long as he wanted to.
A-Rod had said publicly that he wanted to play 3rd base during his final game Friday night -- but Yanks skipper Joe Girardi nixed the idea ... only allowing him to be a DH instead.
Some people are upset saying A-Rod deserved to go out on his own terms -- others say screw him, he's a cheater and doesn't deserve anything.
So, we put it up to Leyritz -- who played with Joe G. back in the day -- and he says in this situation, he disagrees with his old teammate.
"The guy's one of the greatest 5 players to ever play ... I would've played him until he wanted to stop."
Leyritz also says he thinks the decision may have been out of Joe's hands -- and even suggests Yanks brass took measures to ensure A-Rod wouldn't reach 700 home runs in pinstripes.
