Patrick Mahomes Yo no odio a Aaron Rodgers!!!
Rezando por lo mejor 🙏🏽" (Hate that man... Praying for the best).
Rezando por lo mejor 🙏🏽" (Hate that, man... Praying for the best).

8:48 PM PT -- Jets head coach Robert Saleh just met with media members following his team's improbable win over the Bills ... and he said Aaron Rodgers suffered an Achilles injury and "it's not good."
6:15 PM PT -- The New York Jets just announced Aaron Rodgers has been ruled out for the rest of the game ... but the good news?? The QB's x-rays came back negative.
Well ... this sucks.
NFL superstar Aaron Rodgers went down with an apparent injury during the first game of his New York Jets career on Monday Night Football ... bringing his big debut to a screeching halt.
Rodgers was getting drilled on numerous occasions as the Jets started their first offensive drive of the matchup against the Buffalo Bills ... with several defensive players making their way to the backfield and knocking him down.
But just 6 minutes into the game, #8 took a hit from former first-round pick Leonard Floyd that would prove to be a major blow ... 'cause even though he was initially able to get back up on his feet, he sat back down on the grass with a concerned look on his face.

Rodgers was then assisted off the field alongside medical staffers ... and was later taken away on a cart as Zach Wilson took over under center.
Jets coach Robert Saleh told ESPN's broadcast team Rodgers appeared to have hurt his ankle ... although the extent of the injury is unknown at this time.
It will be a huge bummer for the Jets if Rodgers is forced to miss time ... as the team's acquisition of the Super Bowl champ had the entire league expecting a turnaround this season.

Dallas Cowboys' Drew Pearson Fired Up After Giants Win ... Jets Going Down Next!!!

Exclusive

The Dallas Cowboys' win streak over New York teams won't just stop at one ... at least, that's according to Drew Pearson, who tells TMZ Sports his old squad is going to beat up on the Jets this weekend.
Pearson made the claim just hours before Aaron Rodgers was forced out of Monday night's win over the Buffalo Bills with an Achilles injury ... but regardless of who's under center in NY, the Hall of Famer seemed super confident in his prediction.
"[New York will] bring the circus with 'Hard Knocks' and all that," he said. "They're coming to see us -- but we're going to send them home hard knocked. Knocked out!"
Of course, Pearson is biased -- he played all 11 years of his NFL career with the Cowboys and he's remained a huge fan even in retirement ... but he said Dallas' 40-0 win over the Giants was just that impressive.
.@dallascowboys special teams & Defense was enough to turn the lights out EARLY on the Giants #BaldysBreakdowns pic.twitter.com/COr5N7qqd8
— Brian Baldinger (@BaldyNFL) September 11, 2023 @BaldyNFL
In fact, the ex-wide receiver called the victory "one of the most impressive performances I've seen from the Dallas Cowboys in a long time."
Pearson praised the Cowboys' efforts in all three phases of the game -- offense, defense and special teams -- calling it "a total team performance."
Pearson, however, isn't ready to dub Dallas the Super Bowl favorites just yet ... saying the improvement of the other three teams in the NFC East means the Cowboys will have to bring it every week going forward.
But, he's clearly giving the Cowboys the edge against the Jets on Sunday afternoon in Texas no less -- perhaps with or without Rodgers.

DraftKings Apologizes For 9/11-Themed Parlay
DraftKings issued a mea culpa on Monday morning ... after the gambling site posted a 9/11-themed parlay that many viewed as insensitive.
The bet that fans could place money on was called "Never Forget" ... and it allowed people to wager on if the New York Mets, New York Yankees and New York Jets would all win on Monday -- the 22nd anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks in NY.
Immediately after it was posted, though, it was ripped by social media users ... who called it tone-deaf and crass.
In wake of the backlash hours later, DraftKings pulled it from its site ... and issued an apology.
"We sincerely apologize for the featured parlay that was shared briefly in commemoration of 9/11," a DK spokesperson said in a statement to the Boston Globe. We respect the significance of this day for our country and especially for the familys of those who were directly affected.”
The Jets are slated to play the Bills at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on "Monday Night Football." Meanwhile, the Mets will take on the Diamondbacks at Citi Field in New York -- while the Yankees will face the Red Sox at Fenway Park in Boston.

Aaron Rodgers Loses Auburn-Cal Bet To Teammate ... War Eagle?!?
Cal's loss to Auburn on Saturday stung in more ways than one for Aaron Rodgers ... 'cause it appeared he and his Jets teammate had a wager on the game -- one that resulted in the quarterback having to reluctantly wear some Tigers gear on Sunday.
The Golden Bears -- who Rodgers played for from 2003 to 2004 -- fell to Auburn, 14-10, in Berkeley ... and it seems Rodgers had a bet with C.J. Uzomah over it all ... 'cause roughly 24 hours after the L, the signal-caller was seen in the NY locker room with a whole lot of of orange on.
Uzomah, who played for the Tigers from 2011 to 2014, filmed Rodgers' surprising 'fit ... and his chuckle and comments on the vid indicated he got the best of Rodgers in a gamble on the game.
"Aaron," he said in the clip, "you love it. Say, 'War Eagle.' Just one time."
Rodgers, decked out in an AU cap and a War Eagle shirt, refused to do so ... shaking his head while giving his tight end a thumbs down.
Auburn loved the video so much ... the school even re-shared Uzomah's clip on its IG page.
"The newest fan of Auburn Football 🤣" AU wrote. "Sorry @aaronrodgers12, looks like @cj_uzomah won this one 👀."
Uzomah and Rodgers will have to put their college rivalry aside quickly ... the guys are set to take on the Bills on Monday night in what will be Rodgers' Jets debut.

Aaron Rodgers I Saw A UFO In 2005 ... Like A Scene Out Of 'Independence Day'
Aaron Rodgers has been seeing things before he ever dabbled in psychedelics -- the New York Jets quarterback went in depth about the time he believes he saw a UFO on "Hard Knocks" this week ... saying he felt like he was in a movie!!
The four-time MVP opened up on the 2005 experience on the season finale of the Max series Tuesday night ... when he was staying with his old college teammate, Steve Levy, in New Jersey prior to the NFL Draft and heard an alarm going off outside.
Naturally, the guys left the house to investigate ... and Rodgers couldn't believe his eyes.
"Did we just see what we think we just saw?"

Aaron Rodgers details a UFO sighting 🛸
Stream the #HardKnocks finale now on @StreamOnMax pic.twitter.com/reQgankPod
"Up in the clouds, we heard this sound and we saw this tremendously large object moving through the sky," Rodgers said. "And it was like a scene out of 'Independence Day,' when the ships are coming into the atmosphere and they're creating this kind of like explosion-type fire in the sky."
"And we just saw this incredibly large object and froze, as anybody would because what the hell was going on? And eventually it went out of sight and nobody said a word."
Shortly after, the signal-caller says he heard the sound of fighter jets zooming above them ... as if aircrafts were chasing whatever they just saw.
"Again, we just stood there in just disbelief for another few minutes," Rodgers added. "Nobody said a word. Then we all looked at each other like, 'Did we just see what we think we just saw? What was that?'"
Rodgers -- who did his research on the subject after a lack of media coverage on the incident -- seemingly believes it was, in fact, a UFO ... because he heard an alarm go off at a nearby nuclear power plant, which tracks all the information he's gathered.
"And if you know anything about UFOs, there are a lot of sightings around nuclear energy, around volcanoes, around power plants," the Super Bowl winner said.
Rodgers admits he doesn't know "whatever the hell it was" ... but "it was definitely unidentified, it was definitely flying and it was definitely a large object."

Book your tickets to Las Vegas in February, Jets fans ... 'cause your team is going to the Super Bowl there this season!!!
... at least, that's according to New York legend Joe Klecko, who tells TMZ Sports he truly believes, with Aaron Rodgers now under center, his old team will make it to the Big Game this year.
"I do think they will," the newly minted Hall of Famer said out in NYC this week. "Absolutely!"
"With our four-time MVP, how could you not go to the Super Bowl!?"
Of course, while Klecko is biased (he played for the Jets for 11 seasons) -- he didn't always feel Rodgers would be the game-changer for his former squad.
Back in February, he said on The Mike Francesa Podcast that he actually preferred it if the Jets would have gone after Derek Carr instead of Rodgers.
Seems, though, after watching the quarterback completely submerge himself into his new team and city ... Klecko is all in.
Get the J-E-T-S chants ready!!!

Aaron Rodgers Clowns Giants Player ... 'I Don't Even Know Who You Are, Bro!'
Aaron Rodgers was so pissed that a Giants player pushed him a few moments after a play had ended over the weekend ... he eviscerated the dude with some epic shade.
The moment was brought to light on Tuesday night thanks to "Hard Knocks" cameras ... which were rolling when Rodgers got into a tiff with Jihad Ward in the first quarter of Saturday's Jets vs. G-Men clash at MetLife Stadium.
As Rodgers released a pass with Ward chasing him ... he backpedaled in an effort to get away from the defensive end -- but Ward kept coming.

Ward eventually got into Rodgers' grill and gave him a nudge, which infuriated Aaron so much ... he clowned him right on the field as the hot mics were rolling.
"I don't even know who you are, bro!" Rodgers yelled at Ward, a seven-year NFL veteran who's played for six different teams. "I never heard of you!"
After throwing a touchdown a few moments later, he hit him with the same chirp again.
Rodgers apparently knew the diss cut deep ... 'cause when he went back to the sideline, he bragged to teammates about it.
"I gave him a line that's un-come-back-with-able," he said with a smile. "I said, 'I don't even know who you are.'"
"Then he said, 'I don't know who you are.' I said, 'Bulls***.'"
Rodgers ended up with the last laugh on the scoreboard -- 'cause the Jets won the preseason ender, 32-24.
Ice up, Jihad.

Jets Rookie Jerome Kapp Hits Em Impression At Talent Show ... Raps Entire '8 Mile' Freestyle!!!
Jets receiver Jerome Kapp transformed into Eminem for New York's rookie talent show this month ... and the guy crushed the role so hard -- even Aaron Rodgers had to give him a standing ovation.
The performance all went down last week inside a Jets team meeting ... when after the veterans made some of the squad's newcomers grab a mic for them, Kapp decided to re-enact Em's famous freestyle from "8 Mile."
And, thanks to "Hard Knocks" cameras -- we got to see the epic concert in its entirety.

Kapp threw on a beanie and a hood, put the movie's famous track on the speakers ... and then he got busy.
"Everybody from the 3-1-3 put your motherf***ing hands up and follow me!" he yelled ... before rapping the legendary Eminem verses word-for-word.
Kapp even hit the a cappella portion of the song ... and when he wrapped up, his teammates -- including Rodgers -- exploded.
Kapp's future with the Jets is uncertain -- the former Division-II Kutztown University star has a long way to go to make the team's final roster ... but if the whole football thing doesn't end up working out, maybe a rap career just might!

Woody Johnson is really a players' owner -- the New York Jets honcho decided he wanted to have drip like his superstar athletes ... by copping a diamond chain for himself!!
TMZ Sports is told -- the NFL owner recently hit up Al The Jeweler of Labelle Jewelry in Totowa, NJ ... after he noticed the pieces made for Jets stars like Sauce Gardner, Mecole Hardman and Aaron Rodgers, and wanted to get in on the fun.
Woody revealed his own piece during a team meeting, as shown in the most recent episode of HBO's "Hard Knocks" ... and everyone erupted in approval -- clapping and cheering as he explained how he got it.
"I got the inspiration from you," Woody told the players.
Johnson went on to say he saw just how hard the team has been working during training camp ... saying it motivated not only the front office, but the fan base as well.
We're told the piece -- which says "Woody and the Jets" -- is made of 80 carats of emerald and round cut diamonds ... with a white gold setting.
On the back, it reads "Think Big August '23."
Of course, Al is responsible for the most lavish looks in the game -- working with superstars like Gardner, Stefon Diggs, Jarvis Landry and so many more.
But, Al tells us he's never worked with an NFL team owner before ... and it might be a first throughout the whole league.
No word on how much the whole thing cost ... but you can't put a price on team bonding, now can you??

Oz Pearlman stunned Aaron Rodgers and the NY Jets on this week's episode of "Hard Knocks" ... but his mind-blowing performance didn't stop there, 'cause the mentalist hopped on TMZ Sports to prove his skills still work from thousands of miles away!
The #Jets invted renowned mentalist Oz Pearlman to do some magic in front of the team — and he left Aaron Rodgers speechless.

This stuff will never not amaze me.
More on Hard Knocks tonight.
pic.twitter.com/R9oyDhPFi3
"Oz the Mentalist" joined Babcock on the "TMZ Sports" TV show (airs weekdays on FS1) and told him to think of an NFL player ... someone underrated who could have a big season (it's no fun if it's Patrick Mahomes).
FYI, there are 32 NFL teams ... and each active roster contains 53 players. That's nearly 1,700 guys.
Pearlman asked Babcock to write down the player's name ... which he did.
That's when Oz stunned us.
"I think the exciting moment is who gets the ball in the end zone. It's not who threw it to you," Oz said ... "I think I got that. Not a tight end, wide receiver. The Giants, Darius Slayton is who you wrote down, isn't it!"
Sure enough ... Babcock -- who had never spoken to Oz prior to doing the interview -- had written "Darius Slayton"
We also talked to Pearlman about his trip to Florham Park, NJ ... where he performed for the 4x NFL MVP and the rest of Gang Green.
Commence shock and awe! 🤯

Aaron Rodgers Blown Away By Training Camp Magic Trick ... Is This Your Goldfish?!?
Aaron Rodgers is used to dropping jaws with his arm, but at a recent Jets team meeting, he was the one in awe -- absolutely awestruck over a wild magic trick that featured a real, live goldfish!
The guys over at "Hard Knocks" dropped the footage of the hocus pocus in a teaser for this week's episode of the hit show ... revealing Rodgers and his teammates were enthralled by some sleight of hand from famed mentalist Oz Pearlman.
In the clip, you can see Pearlman asking Rodgers to pick one of his favorite cards after going through a deck of 52 ... before he correctly guesses the quarterback had taken the three of diamonds.
But, the trick didn't stop there, because he then asks New York safeties coach Marquand Manuel what animal he had been thinking of earlier in the trick.
"A goldfish? Seriously?" Pearlman asks. "I got you. Look in your hands, Aaron."
Sure enough, Rodgers was then holding a goldfish in a clear case ... rather than the deck of cards he had believed he was fondling.
The trick baffled Rodgers -- as well as everyone else in the room, who all screamed out in shock.
It apparently ain't just ayahuasca and magic mushrooms that can make Rodgers see things!!!

Aaron Rodgers Starstruck After Meeting Liev Schreiber ... 'F***ing Voice Of God'
Even one of the most famous athletes on the planet can geek out over celebrities -- 'cause Aaron Rodgers was giddy as hell after meeting Liev Schreiber at New York Jets camp ... calling him the "f***ing voice of God!!"
The "Ray Donovan" actor/"Hard Knocks" narrator made a rare appearance on the HBO series Tuesday night ... dropping in via helicopter to hang out with the team during practice.
The most excited player was easily Rodgers ... who told Liev he's a huge fan of his filmography.

The quarterback lost his mind to his teammates after greeting the movie star ... telling them to go say 'sup.
"He's the guy who narrates 'Hard Knocks,'" Rodgers told everyone who was willing to listen.
Rodgers even begged his offensive coordinator, Nathaniel Hackett, to go introduce himself ... saying Schreiber was "nervous" and wanted to hang out with the players.
"Just say 'hi,'" Rodgers told coach. "Just be nice. Look at him, he got all dressed up for it. He looks great."
“He’s nervous. He wants to, you know, meet people, feel comfortable, he’s never been to a Hard Knocks practice … just be nice!”

Aaron Rodgers’ adoration of Liev Schreiber was the real winner last night.

"Don't be an ass****," he added.
Schreiber's spot on the show was pretty hilarious ... as he narrated the whole thing, explaining he wanted to drive to practice, but producers thought the helicopter would be more dramatic.
Who knows -- after this bro fest, don't be surprised if we see Liev at a Jets game this season.

Sorry, Jets fans ... Randy Moss says despite New York's huge offseason, Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are still the team to beat in the AFC.
But, the NFL legend tells TMZ Sports he's stoked for the year NY is about to have regardless ... saying he can feel a completely different energy emanating from the Big Apple after the arrival of Aaron Rodgers.
"I felt the buzz when the Jets were down," said Moss, who works in New York for his role as an ESPN analyst, "and now I'm feeling the buzz when they're ready to look forward to some big things from this organization."
Moss says he's totally impressed with the way Rodgers has integrated himself into his new team and community ... noting he's seen a far different body language from the QB from what he's witnessed in the past.
Now, he thinks it'll all spell out "an MVP-type-caliber season" for the 39-year-old signal-caller
"I just think the sky's the limit for the New York Jets," he said.

The 46-year-old Hall of Famer, though, would apparently still put his money on Mahomes to take the AFC title this year ... telling us the favorite in the conference "is still Kansas City."
The Jets will get a chance to prove Moss wrong in just a few weeks -- they'll face the Chiefs in Week 4 on Oct. 1 in what's become a can't-miss game.
