Erik Menéndez Hugged It Out With Actor Playing Him After Slamming Netflix Show
Erik Menéndez hasn't held back on his negative reaction to Ryan Murphy's new Netflix biopic series about him and his brother Lyle -- but the actor who plays him says it was all love behind the scenes.
Cooper Koch said when he rolled up to San Diego’s Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility with Kim Kardashian to meet the Menendez bros last week, he dove right in to hug Erik and Lyle -- describing them as "upstanding" individuals and saying it was an amazing experience to be in their company.
Cooper told Variety the instant vibe between him and Erik was sparked by a phone call they had before meeting up ... saying he reassured Erik he was all about portraying him authentically in "Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story."

Vince McMahon isn't wasting any time knocking Netflix's soon-to-be-released docuseries, "Mr. McMahon" ... with the former WWE honcho blasting the project just days before its anticipated release.
The six-part doc debuts on the streaming giant's platform later this week -- on September 25 -- and although 79-year-old McMahon admits he hasn't yet seen the series, it's evident he's bracing for a show that paints him in less than ideal light.
"I don't regret participating in this Netflix documentary. The producers had an opportunity to tell an objective story about my life and the incredible business I built, which were equally filled with excitement, drama, fun, and a fair amount of controversy and life lessons," McMahon said in a statement released Monday afternoon.

The Netflix cash cow "Squid Game" is a blatant ripoff of a movie that was released more than a decade earlier in India ... at least according to a new lawsuit.
Netflix is being sued by a man named Soham Shah, who claims he is the creator of the 2009 Hindi-language Indian film "Luck" ... which he says served as a blueprint for the hit 2021 streaming series "Squid Game."
According to the lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, the "Squid Game" franchise straight-up jacked the storyline from Shah's movie ... because "Luck" is a story about a group of desperate, indebted people enticed to take part in a series of competitive games for the chance to win large sums of money.

Julian Ortega -- star of the viral Netflix show "Elite" -- has died ... after collapsing on a beach in Spain, despite lifeguards' best efforts to save him.
The actor passed away Sunday afternoon, according to officials in Spain.
Initial reports indicated the actor drowned -- but authorities tell TMZ the 41-year-old actually went into cardiac arrest on the shore.
Spain's Directorate-General of the Civil Guard tells us he died predictably due to a heart attack in Barbate, a town on the Atlantic Coast.

Rob "The Rabbit" Pitts -- star of Netflix’s "Tex Mex Motors" -- has died after a battle with stomach cancer ... TMZ has confirmed.
The car salesman said farewell in a YouTube video titled "This Is Goodbye (RIP 7/27/79 - 8/25/24)" ... and his videographer confirmed his death in the comments, writing, "I am with him now in Hospice. He just passed at 21:45 on 08/25/2024. He will be missed and we will never forget him!"
In his text-based farewell video, Rob shared he felt "off," and started experiencing symptoms like weight loss and acid reflux while filming "Tex Mex Motors" season 2 ... which his doctors finally diagnosed as stomach cancer.
