Ohio State Football 2 Players Charged W/ Rape, Kidnapping ... Kicked Off Team

UPDATE

3:20 PM PT -- Ohio State head coach Ryan Day says both players have been dismissed from the football team ... saying they "did not live up to our standards and my expectations."

UPDATE

"The athletics department will make sure they both continue to have access to the health and well-being resources available to students and student-athletes."

Two Ohio State football players were arrested and charged with rape and kidnapping Wednesday ... and the allegations against the two Buckeyes are disturbing.

Senior cornerback Amir Riep and senior safety Jahsen Wint are accused of forcefully raping a woman in the Columbus, Ohio area at around 9:45 PM on Feb. 4, according to court docs obtained by TMZ Sports.

According to the docs, officials say Riep was having consensual sex with a woman when she stopped, telling him she did not want to continue.

The docs say that's when Wint entered the room ... and the two men forced the woman to commit sex acts against her will.

The docs say Riep pushed the victim down "by the neck," forcing her onto her hands and knees ... and then began having sex with her from that position.

The docs say Wint then forced the woman to have oral sex with him at the same time.

The docs say after both parties stopped, after several minutes ... Riep filmed the woman and ordered her to say on camera that the sex was consensual. The docs note the woman was crying while Riep was laughing at her.

Ohio State announced the two football players are now indefinitely suspended, saying in a statement, "We are aware that two of our students have been arrested and criminally charged."

"They have been suspended from all activities involving the football program. We will share more information when available."

The two men are due in court for an arraignment hearing Thursday.

SMU's Travis Mays Told Players To Commit Suicide ... At '17-18 Practice

Southern Methodist Univ.'s women's basketball coach Travis Mays told his players to kill themselves if they weren't willing to try harder ... this according to former team members.

The first player to go public was ex-player Klara Bradshaw who wrote a blog post saying Mays was so upset with how the team was performing during a 2017-18 season practice, he said the following:

"If y'all don't want to get it together, if y'all don't get together and get connected, you might as well go and commit suicide."

Bradshaw -- who lost her father to suicide 2 years prior -- was so upset by the comment, a team trainer removed her from the workout.

The Dallas Morning News reports Mays -- a 1990 1st round pick in the NBA Draft -- later apologized to Bradshaw for the comment ... but other players also spoke out about the toxic culture surrounding his coaching style.

Ex-player McKenzie Adams recently tweeted the same 2017-18 season was "one of the most mentally traumatic experiences ever."

SMU's athletic director, Rick Hart, condemned Mays' comment to the Morning News, saying "It's absolutely a term that shouldn't be used in any capacity or any form."

Mays addressed the claim in a statement, saying, "It's one of those things where sometimes you can push. And it's our job to push people outside of their comfort zones."

"And sometimes you can say things, whether it's using the wrong verbiage or at the wrong time when you don't need to express some of that."

Women's College Basketball Insane Bench-Clearing Brawl ... Haymakers & Hair-Pulling

BASKET-BRAWL
@Jayv2truu

This is one of the most violent college basketball fights EVER -- courtesy of the women of Alabama St. and Texas Southern.

ASU was being blown out 81-54 on Monday night in a super testy Southwestern Athletic Conference game in Montgomery ... when a fight broke out and escalated QUICKLY.

The benches cleared and a BUNCH of players threw wild haymakers -- some connected, some didn't -- but good lord, it was crazy.

Staffers and security rushed on to the court attempting to stop the brawl -- but the players overpowered them at first.

At one point, the fight spilled on to the scorer's table -- and the combatants came thiiiis close to knocking the whole thing over.

Eventually, officials were able to separate the teams and sent everyone to the locker rooms. A spokesperson for the ASU police tells us there were NO arrests made.

Reps for Alabama State were pretty pissed over the whole incident on Tuesday ... saying there WILL be repercussions for their players' actions.

"I am extremely disappointed by the behavior of our women athletes at the end of their game against Texas Southern University," ASU President Quinton T. Ross Jr. said in a statement.

"Alabama State University has a zero-tolerance policy for this type of behavior."

Ross added the school is now launching a full-blown investigation into the fight ... with suspensions and other disciplinary actions almost certainly on the way.

For their part, Texas Southern's Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics, Kevin Granger, said he was "deeply disappointed" in his team's actions as well, and he promised a thorough review of it all.

Ed Orgeron Gets PAIIIIIIIIIID!!! After LSU Championship

It's pretty simple -- you win the natty, they back up the Brinks trucks to your driveway ... and that's exactly what happened for LSU head coach Ed Orgeron!!

Coach O and the Tigers are still basking in their glory following the 42-25 win over Clemson in the College Football Playoff championship game ... and as a result, LSU's beloved leader got a MAJOR pay raise.

How good of a raise?? O just agreed to a 6-year deal exceeding $42 MILLION.

It's not the lifetime contract Joe Burrow called for in his Heisman acceptance speech ... but THINK OF ALL THE CRAWFISH YOU CAN BUY WITH THAT KINDA MONEY!!!!

LSU athletic director Scott Woodward spoke about the decision, saying "Coach O has set a new standard at LSU."

"He has proven that he is not only a championship coach, but also a leader of a program committed to doing things the right way. He has represented our institution and our state with great pride, on and off the field of play."

"He is well-deserving of this new contract, which should make clear our commitment to Coach O and the direction of our football program."

O's initial salary when he got the gig was $3.5 million a year ... and he eventually got bumped up to $4 million earlier this year. Orgeron was tied for the 28th highest-paid coach in college ball.

Now, Orgeron will be one of the highest-paid football coaches in the NCAA ... right behind names like Dabo Swinney, Jimbo Fisher, Nick Saban and Jim Harbaugh.

Looks like O won't have to do any local Hummer commercials anymore.

KU's Silvio De Sousa Apologizes For Part In Brawl 'I Am Truly Embarrassed'

Kansas Jayhawks player Silvio De Sousa is breaking his silence following the bench-clearing brawl on Tuesday night ... saying straight-up, "I messed up and I am sorry."

De Sousa received the harshest punishment handed down for his part in the melee ... getting slapped with a 12-game suspension.

Remember, De Sousa stood over DaJuan Gordon after a chase-down block, which kickstarted the brawl. During the fight, the 21-year-old is seen holding a stool over his head before a coach yanks it from his hands.

De Sousa owned up to his actions on Wednesday, saying there is no excuse for what he did.

"Yesterday, during the Kansas State game, I displayed highly unacceptable behavior that was a poor representation of my team as well as my own character. There is no excuse for my behavior, and I cannot justify the unreasonable choices that I made yesterday on the court. I not only showed a lack of sportsmanship, but I put myself, my teammates and the fans in danger."

He added ... "I am truly embarrassed by my actions and have let everyone down who has supported me on my basketball journey. There is no amount of regret that I can express that will correct this mistake."

"I understand that I am extremely fortunate to have been given the opportunity to play for KU and I recognize that I never should have let my emotions get the best of me, but unfortunately that is what happened. By doing so, I put the Kansas reputation at stake because of a moment of weakness and inconsideration."

"I will continue to support my team and do everything I can to help while serving my suspension."

"I messed up and I am sorry."

De Sousa will be able to rejoin his team just in time for the Big 12 and NCAA tournaments.

UPDATE

3:04 PM PT -- The Big 12 Conference just announced the official punishments for the brawl ... and it seems pretty light.

UPDATE

Kansas players Silvio De Sousa was suspended 12 games and David McCormack was suspended 2 games.

UPDATE

Kansas State's James Love was handed an 8-game punishment and Antonio Gordon was suspended 3 games.

UPDATE

Commissioner Bob Bowlsby released a statement on the incident ... saying “This kind of behavior cannot be tolerated and these suspensions reflect the severity of last evening’s events. I am appreciative of the cooperation of both institutions in resolving this matter.”

UPDATE

Worth noting -- all the players will be back from suspension in time for the Big 12 and the NCAA tournaments

UPDATE

10:11 AM PT -- Kansas coach Bill Self says Silvio De Sousa has been suspended indefinitely while the Big 12 investigates the altercation.

UPDATE

De Sousa was the player who held a stool over his head during the fight.

All hell broke loose at the end of the Kansas vs. Kansas State game on Tuesday ... with the players getting in a bench-clearing brawl.

It all got started in the closing seconds of the Jayhawks' 81-60 win ... when K. State's DaJuan Gordon stripped the ball from Kansas' Silvio De Sousa to try for a last-second bucket.

De Sousa ended up catching up with Gordon, stuffed his layup attempt ... and then proceeded to stand on top of his opponent.

The 2 players started going at it -- and then both teams rushed over to defend their teammates.

That's when MAYHEM ensued ... with players, coaches and other staff members getting involved. Punches were thrown, kicks and even one player thought about using a stool before an assistant coach yanked it from him.

Cops on the scene eventually broke up the fight after several minutes ... and both teams went to the locker room to cool off.

The craziest part??? The teams ended up having to come BACK out on the court to finish the last 0.1 seconds left in the game so K. State could shoot technical free throws.

Of course, there WILL be punishment handed down ... so it's just a matter of time before the teams find out the consequences of the melee.

"At this point, it feels like they're just picking on him 'cause he is who he is," the former NY Giants star told us in NYC. "Just let him live!"

As we previously reported, an arrest warrant has been issued for Beckham after footage surfaced showing him slapping a Superdome security guard in the ass during the LSU national championship locker room celebration.

The guard told cops he was furious at Odell for putting his hands on him -- and fought the urge to punch the NFL player in retaliation.

But, Cruz says he thinks the guard -- and other law enforcement members involved in the case -- are blowing the whole thing out of proportion.

"His alma mater just won the national championship. Let him have some fun!"

Cruz added ... "I think he didn't do nothing wrong ... I think he's good."

He also claims the security guard is "corny" for pursuing legal action in the first place.

As for Beckham, his legal team is reportedly handling the situation -- but so far, he has NOT been formally arrested, according to public police records.

"They got a good one now, even though they're trying to impeach the son of a bitch, can you believe that??"

President Trump was in a playful mood about the ongoing impeachment trial while hosting the LSU Tigers on Friday ... joking about the process and saying America's in good hands.

POTUS was cracking jokes left and right while praising the Tigers for their title ... with Ed Orgeron's voice, Ja'Marr Chase, Justin Jefferson and Joe Burrow on the receiving end of his quips.

Trump made sure he got some of his own bragging in before celebrating the Tigers' successful season ... praising the stock market.

"We just had another all-time high for our stock market just hit. So, that will be 149 times in the past 3 years. That's not bad. Coach, that's good, right?"

Of course, Trump eventually got back to football ... praising players like Burrow, Jefferson and Chase, who POTUS questioned whether he could beat in a race.

Trump also mentioned the infamous Clemson White House visit last season ... saying the team ate so much of his fast-food buffet, "we didn't know what the hell to do."

LSU Football Family Bus In Minor Crash ... No Apparent Injuries

More off-the-field drama for LSU ... we've just learned a bus carrying 25 to 30 family members and close friends of the national champs was just involved in a minor crash.

We're told the bus was traveling on the I-110 North in Baton Rouge on the way to the airport Thursday around 12 PM PT to fly out to Washington D.C. for the upcoming White House ceremony with President Trump.

One source tells us it was raining -- the roads were slippery -- and during the ride, a small red car lost control and hit the bus before slamming into a barricade.

All vehicles involved immediately stopped -- the red car's airbags deployed.

We're told EMTs responded to the scene and came onto the bus to see if everyone was okay. No one required medical attention.

None of the athletes were on the bus -- the team bus was in the caravan but not involved in the accident.

Everyone on the bus was moved to another vehicle and they're all at the airport waiting to fly out to D.C.

UPDATE

11:43 AM PT -- The security guard "wanted to retaliate by punching" Odell after the butt-smacking incident ... but held back -- this according to court docs obtained by NOLA.com.

UPDATE

In the docs, the guard said he had to fight the urge to get violent with Odell ... and called the NOPD just a day after the incident to press charges.

UPDATE

The docs confirmed the whole altercation started because the guard was attempting to enforce the Superdome’s no-smoking policy on LSU players who were enjoying victory cigars.

UPDATE

9:34 AM PT -- The Cleveland Browns have released a statement on OBJ ... saying, "We are aware of the incident and have been in touch with Odell and his representatives on the matter. They are cooperating with the proper authorities to appropriately address the situation."

More trouble for Odell Beckham ... a warrant for his arrest has been issued by a judge after the NFL star slapped a security officer in the ass during the LSU locker room celebration.

"We can confirm a warrant has been issued on a charge of simple battery," a spokesperson for the New Orleans Police Dept. tells TMZ Sports.

And, get this ... authorities initially sought to charge Beckham with misdemeanor sexual battery, according to Nola.com ... but a judge wouldn't approve it. Instead, the judge agreed the simple battery charge was more appropriate.

Footage of the incident went viral ... Beckham was celebrating with the LSU football team after they won the National Championship at the Superdome on Monday night when the incident went down.

A guard -- who TMZ Sports has confirmed is part of the Mercedes-Benz Superdome security team -- appeared to be policing players over cigar smoking in the locker room when Odell reached back and slapped the guy HARD right on his ass.

If convicted, 27-year-old Beckham faces up to 6 months in jail and a $1,000 fine.

Joe Burrow OBJ Gave Me REAL Cash After Natty LSU Self-Reports To NCAA

Joe Burrow
AS REAL AS IT GETS
"Pardon My Take"
UPDATE

3:08 PM PT -- LSU just released a statement on Cashgate ... saying they now believe the money was real and have contacted the NCAA, SEC and the players involved to "rectify the situation."

UPDATE

"We are aware of the situation regarding Odell Beckham Jr. interacting with LSU student-athletes and others unaffiliated with the team following the championship game Monday night," the statement reads.

UPDATE

"Initial information suggested bills that were exchanged were novelty bills. Information and footage reviewed since shows apparent cash may have also been given to LSU student-athletes."

UPDATE

"We were in contact with the NCAA and the SEC immediately upon learning of this situation in which some of our student athletes may have been placed in a compromising position."

Joe Burrow says Odell Beckham gave him REAL cash after LSU won the national championship ... and there's NOTHING the NCAA can do about it.

OBJ was passin' out cash like candy at the Superdome after the Tigers beat Clemson in the natty on Monday ... and the video got so much attention that LSU released a statement claiming the money was fake.

But, now ... A TWIST!!!

The star QB appeared on Barstool Sports' "Pardon My Take" podcast and told the guys Beckham WAS handing out real money that night.

"I'm not a student-athlete anymore, so I can say yeah," Burrow revealed.

The only thing that's unclear is if Odell handed the real money to Burrow on the field or at the bars afterward ... not that it would make that big of a difference.

There's more ... the Heisman winner says he's been partying his face off since the victory and has only slept for about 45 minutes!

But, the real party may come Saturday when the championship parade goes down in Baton Rouge ... and Burrow says he's planning to channel his inner Rob Gronkowski.

"I might have to save up so I can Gronk that parade."

Big Cat points out that college championship parades are usually a lot less boozy than the pros ... but Burrow says he's the exception, not the rule!

Well said, champ.

LSU Tigers We're Geauxing To The White House!!! To Celebrate Championship

Joe Burrow and Co. will be takin' their championship celebration to the nation's capital ... 'cause the LSU Tigers are scheduled to visit President Donald Trump at the White House!!

The Tigers handled Clemson in a 42-25 win in the natty on Monday ... which POTUS attended and received a massive ovation prior to kickoff.

Now, Ed Orgeron's team will be returning the favor by hitting up 1600 Penn on Friday to be recognized by the prez.

It's been one helluva season for the Tigers -- they went 15-0 and some are considering it one of the most dominant seasons in college football history.

Burrow -- who won the Heisman Trophy -- has previously talked about Trump hitting up their games earlier this season (for the big matchup against Alabama) ... saying it's "pretty cool" regardless of political views.

Of course, college champs -- unlike some pro teams -- have jumped on the opportunity to visit the White House in recent years ... including last year's Clemson team, who got hooked up with junk food due to the government shutdown.

No word on if Trump will improve the menu this time around ... but Burrow passionately hates Skyline Chili, so maybe don't serve that.

Ohio State's Chase Young Rubs Elbows With Hollywood Stars ... at L.A. Clippers Game

Chase Young -- one of the top prospects in the upcoming 2020 NFL Draft -- got a taste of the Hollywood life Tuesday ... hanging with some serious power players at the Clippers game.

The former Ohio State defensive end -- likely the #2 overall pick -- was sitting courtside Tuesday at Staples Center, right next to Klutch Sports founder Rich Paul, the guy who reps LeBron James.

20-year-old Young also posed for a picture with UTA talent agency CEO Jeremy Zimmer ... while sitting in spitting distance from Disney head Bob Iger and Hollywood legend Billy Crystal.

In other words ... welcome to the A-List, Chase!

As for the game, the Clippers beat the hell out of the visiting Cleveland Cavaliers ... the Cavs' second blowout loss this week!

On Monday night, the Cavs got smacked by the Lakers at Staples Center while Kim Kardashian heckled Tristan Thompson from her courtside seats.

Kim later said it was all in good fun and she didn't mean any harm.

The NFL Draft is scheduled to go down on April 23 in Nevada -- and that's when Mr. Young will officially become a VERY rich pro athlete.

Penn State Football Accused of Violent Sexual Hazing 'I'm Going to Sandusky You'

A former Penn State football player is suing the University -- claiming star players violently hazed younger players ... and made sexual threats invoking noted child rapist Jerry Sandusky.

The man behind the suit is Isaiah Humphries -- a defensive back who says he accepted a full scholarship to Penn State beginning in 2018.

But, Humphries says life as a Nittany Lion was hell -- with several upperclassmen players including Damion Barber, Micah Parsons, Yetur Gross-Matos and Jesse Luketa leading a campaign of hazing against the new players.

FYI, Micah Parsons is a star player -- the outside linebacker was Defensive MVP of the 2019 Cotton Bowl. Gross-Matos was an All-BIG 10 defensive end in '18 and '19.

According to Humphries' lawsuit, the upper classmen intended to make the new guys "their bitch" from the get-go ... telling them, "this is a prison."

He claims the upperclassmen also made threats against the new guys -- saying things like, "I am going to f*ck you" and "I am going to Sandusky you ... This is Jerry."

The alleged Sandusky quotes obviously refer to the disgraced Penn State football coach who was convicted of sexually assaulting many young boys at the school's athletic facility.

The allegations get much worse from here. Here's a list from the lawsuit ...

9:03 AM PT -- Turns out OBJ's cash celly wasn't as baller as it looked ... LSU claims all the money was FAKE.

UPDATE

Bummer ... but those players will be getting their real money soon enough.

How'd Joe Burrow celebrate the greatest college football season ever by a QB?!?!

BY SMOKING A FAT STOGIE AND RAGING WITH ODELL BECKHAM JR., BABY!!!

LSU pounded Clemson to cap off a 15-0 year Monday night at the Superdome in New Orleans ... and the party afterward was pretty legendary -- with Burrow rippin' puffs of a cigar and Odell dancing his face off in the locker room.

In fact, the party got so intense ... reportedly police officers had to tell Tiger players to stop smoking indoors -- even threatening arrests!!!

While a security guard was snooping around offensive lineman Damien Lewis, Beckham walks behind the guard and smacks his ass.

But, not even that warning could slow down the Bayou bash ... 'cause in the middle of all kinds of cigar smoke in LSU's locker room, there was a dance battle!!

There's more -- OBJ whipped out a stack of cash right on the Superdome field ... and appeared to hook up star WR's Justin Jefferson and Jontre Kirklin with some dough.

Video of the scene is pretty hilarious ... future first-round pick Grant Delpit went off!!

Of course, there was plenty of reason to party ... the Tigers played an awesome game against Clemson, winning 42-25.
