A Broadway star is slamming Patti Lupone for saying the hit show "Hell's Kitchen" is "too loud" ... saying it's a total microaggression.

Here's the deal ... Kecia Lewis -- who plays Miss Liza Jane in the Alicia Keys-inspired jukebox musical and won her first Tony Award for it back in June -- took to Instagram Saturday and directed an open letter to Lupone about her comments regarding the show.

Patti has been filmed publicly saying the show -- with a primarily Black cast -- is far too loud for her liking ... a phrase Kecia says is "racially microaggressive."

Chris Martin fell through his stage at the "Speed of Sound" ... stepping backward while performing with Coldplay in Australia -- and falling straight through a trapdoor onstage.

The singer-songwriter hopped onstage with the band for the fourth and final Melbourne date on their "Music of the Spheres" tour ... and, he should've kept his eyes on the ground 'cause he stepped in the wrong spot and almost took a nasty tumble.

Travis and his buddy, Ross Travis, popped up at Taylor's "Eras" tour concert at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, where they shared the VIP section with a group that included Taylor's mom, Andrea, and *NSYNC's Joey Fatone.
