Lady Gaga has officially kicked off the Olympics opening ceremony -- putting on a showy performance on the steps of the Seine river ... and she did so by herself, for now.

Check it out ... the singer belts her heart out as she sings an all-French classic, known as "Mon Truc En Plume." Gaga seems to pay tribute to singer Zizi Jeanmaire with her performance -- which is filled with over-the-top pink feathered fans, dancers dressed in all-black, and a full jazz band.

Remember, Zizi memorably performed "Mon Truc En Plume" on "The Ed Sullivan Show" decades ago ... where she wore all-black and was joined by dancers carrying massive feathered fans. See the resemblance???

"Love Island USA" star Leah Kateb is being confronted with rumors she used to date Kanye West ... and she's doing little to dispel online speculation the two were once an item.

The reality star appears in the latest episode of the "Call Her Daddy" podcast and host Alex Cooper asks her about the scuttlebutt around her and Yeezy -- something that literally nobody had heard about (at least not publicly) until now.

The singer was seen practicing her number for the highly-anticipated performance ... as she was photographed singing on golden steps alongside the Seine in Paris. Gaga pulled out all the stops for her gig, too ... as she performed in a chic all-black ensemble next to dancers and a full jazz band decked out in similar monochromatic looks.

Gaga and her dancers rounded out the choreography by integrating over-the-top pink feathered fans ... reminiscent of the famed Moulin Rouge cabaret.

Megan Fox is pregnant ... or, she's at least playing a pregnant woman in a new music video with her rock star boyfriend.

Here's the deal ... Machine Gun Kelly and Jelly Roll just released the vid for their collab, "Lonely Road," and Megan's got a starring role as a pregnant woman who gives birth by the end of the song.

At the beginning of the video, Megan debuts the baby bump ... and MGK is kissing and caressing her belly in a few scenes. Pretty wild, right?

Justin Timberlake's DWI arrest never should've happened his lawyer says ... 'cause he just claimed in court the singer wasn't even intoxicated when cops arrested him.

JT's attorney -- Edward Burke Jr. -- tells us what he stated in court ... and that would be his argument his client wasn't intoxicated during his arrest, adding cops made serious errors in this case despite their best efforts. Justin's performing in Poland this weekend BTW, so he didn't attend the hearing in person or virtually.

Burke says he filed a motion to dismiss the case on the grounds of accusatory instrument defect ... basically arguing there was an issue with the document formally accusing Timberlake of a crime. The motion's under review now ... the case isn't likely to get tossed.
