Jennifer Lopez is back in her native city after her extended birthday Hamptons trip -- and while there's still no Ben Affleck in sight ... there is a remnant of him around.

The singer/actor popped up in NYC Thursday ... where she was galivanting around town in a stylish 'fit and looking pretty damn fabulous to boot. Per usual, she was rolling with her manager Benny Medina and a small entourage ... but J Lo was out there looking confident.

First, she went to lunch in SoHo ... where she was flashing a big smile, but more importantly -- her wedding ring, which she seems to have mostly been rocking of late.

Looks like Adele and her boo Rich Paul are finally heading down the aisle -- 'cause if the latest buzz is anything to go by, the engagement bells are ringing!

The singer's sports agent BF, Rich Paul, finally popped the question last Thursday after months of keeping us all guessing, The Sun reports ... adding she said yes to a jaw-dropping four-carat diamond ring, which appeared to be on her hand during an outing last week.

Multiple sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... Celine is in the "final stages" of negotiating with Resorts World for a residency that will start either in late 2024 or early 2025. The negotiations have gone on for several months. As one source put it, "It's basically a done deal. She's doing it." We're told AEG will produce the show.

Our sources say this is all Celine's doing. She is determined to get back onstage to do live performances ... something she talked about at length in her documentary, "I Am: Celine Dion." One source tells TMZ, "This is all her No one is pushing her to do it. She has a passion for getting back onstage, and she's gonna do it."

Chris Brown and Yella Beezy just got hit with another lawsuit -- this time from a security guard who claims he was horribly injured while breaking up the brawl that led to the first suit!

In the docs, filed Wednesday and obtained by TMZ Hip Hop, Frederick R. Overpeck says he was working as a security guard at Dickies Arena in Ft. Worth on July 20, and, more specifically, was instructed to work the backstage meet-and-greet where the alleged fight took place.
