Three 6 Mafia Crunchy Black Pleads Guilty In Meth Mix-Up
Former Three 6 Mafia rapper Crunchy Black will have plenty of time to study the difference between cocaine and meth -- he's gonna spend the next 7 months in jail for his Vegas drug bust.
CB was in court Wednesday and pled guilty to misdemeanor drug possession. TMZ broke the story ... Crunchy was arrested earlier this month for meth.
Crunch had the worst defense we've heard in a while. According to the police report, when an officer found the drugs on Crunchy ... he replied, "Oh damn. I was trying to buy that powder, not meth."
The Oscar winner got 30 days for the drugs, but also had 6 months to serve for a domestic violence case he'd skipped out on -- so, he'll do the time consecutively.
NBA's Javaris Crittenton Guilty In Shooting Death ... 23 Years In Prison
Former NBA player Javaris Crittenton pled guilty to manslaughter in the 2011 shooting death of a 22-year-old mother of 4 ... and was sentenced to 23 years in prison.
As we previously reported, Crittenton -- a 1st round pick in the 2007 NBA Draft -- was initially charged with murder for killing Julian Jones in a drive-by shooting in Atlanta.
But Crittenton struck a deal with prosecutors in which he agreed to plead guilty to the lesser voluntary manslaughter with a weapon charge and aggravated assault with a firearm. In exchange, prosecutors dropped the murder charge and Crittenton got 23 years in the clink.
During the hearing, Javaris apologized for the killing -- started to cry -- and said it was all a terrible mistake.
In the past, officials said they believed Javaris was out for retaliation against a rival gang member on the day of the shooting ... but ended up shooting Jones instead, who had just put her kids to bed.

Police in Memphis did some serious "CSI" stuff to help recover Elton John's famous heart-shaped glasses ... and it worked ... they've been returned safe and sound.
The glasses were swiped last week from the Rock 'n' Soul Museum in Memphis, TN. Police took the incident so seriously, they lifted fingerprints off the glass case and managed to track the thief to Mississippi.
Police then called the guy on the phone ... and 26-year-old Matthew Colvin copped to taking them.
He was arrested for bringing stolen property into the state and for being a fugitive from justice.
Colvin is currently in custody and being held without bail.

Jon Jones is officially in police custody -- finally ... with law enforcement telling TMZ Sports the UFC superstar has turned himself in after an alleged hit and run.
Jones allegedly ran from the scene of an accident in Albuquerque early Sunday morning -- in a crash that injured a pregnant woman so badly, she had to be hospitalized.
A warrant was issued for Jones' arrest for felony hit and run -- due to the severity of the victim's injuries.
But now, cops say ... Jones surrendered and is in custody at Bernalillo County Metropolitan Detention Center without incident. We're told bond has been set at $2,500.
WNBA's Brittney Griner Wins 'Mugshot of the Day' ... On Sheriff's Website
WNBA superstar Brittney Griner won ANOTHER big award Thursday ... "Mugshot of the Day" ... a title bestowed upon her by the people at the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office.
As we previously reported, Griner and her fiancee Glory Johnson were each arrested on Wednesday for domestic violence after an argument at their Arizona home turned violent.
The M.C.S.O. posted their mugshots on their official website -- as it does with EVERY mugshot -- where they ask users to vote for their favorite mugshot of the day.
On Thursday, Brittney won by a landslide.

9:06 AM PT -- According to the police report, obtained by TMZ Sports, Brittney told cops the two had been fighting for days and were having serious "relationship issues."
As for the specific incident, cops say there were several people at the home when Brit and Glory began to argue -- and the fight turned physical.
Cops say Brittney admitted to throwing a dog bowl at the wall -- and then the two began fighting.
Glory's sister eventually called police because people "couldn't get them pulled apart" and she didn't want anyone to get hurt.
When cops arrived, officers say Brittney had several cuts -- and a bite wound. Glory was bleeding from the lip.
The WNBA says it's actively investigating the incident.

Law enforcement sources tell us cops were called to Griner's home around 4:30 PM on Wednesday -- after receiving a call about a domestic dispute between the two women.
When cops arrived, we're told officers observed "minor physical injuries" on both Brittney and Glory.
Both women were arrested and booked by the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office for assault and disorderly conduct. Griner and Johnson were released around 4 AM on Thursday.
Griner plays for the Phoenix Mercury.
The two got engaged last August and had been planning to get married next month in Phoenix. No word if the wedding is still on.
Glory and Brittney had been gushing about each other on social media in the days before the arrest.
In fact, Brit posted a pic of the two kissing on Tuesday with the caption: "EveryDay Every Second! I fall for you like I fell way back before I had the nerves to even approach you! My Queen My Rock My Universe!"
Warren Sapp's Escorts He Tackled Us ... After Naked Altercation
The two escorts in Warren Sapp's hotel room told police ... it wasn't just a big 'ol naked dance party -- Warren was aggressive and violent ... and TACKLED the girls when they tried to leave.
TMZ Sports obtained footage of the two escorts -- Britney Osbourne and Quying Boyd -- speaking with police moments after cops arrived to Sapp's hotel in Phoenix on Feb. 2nd.
Both women told cops they tried to leave the hotel room after a dispute over money -- but Sapp flipped out ... with Boyd saying, "He tackled us together. That's why my leg hurts."
Sapp denied "laying a hand" on either woman -- though he does acknowledge there was a dispute.
Warren was later charged with two counts of assault and one count of soliciting prostitution. If convicted, he faces up to six months in jail.

NHL star Jarret Stoll tried to smuggle an 8-ball of cocaine and 8 grams of Molly into a Vegas pool party ... by hiding them in his board shorts ... this according to the police report obtained by TMZ Sports.
The L.A. Kings player was busted around 4:30 PM on Friday while going through the security area -- that EVERYONE goes through -- on the way in to the Wet Republic pool party at the MGM Grand.
Despite the sign CLEARLY warning people that they will be patted down on the way inside, Stoll took his chances ... and a Wet Republic security guard found a pink baggie with white powder and numerous "gel-caps" with an off-white powder inside consistent with the drug "Molly."
According to the police report ... when asked if the powder inside the baggie was coke, Stoll said, "Yes."
Cops say Stoll had 3.3 grams of coke ... and 8.1 grams of Molly.
Stoll -- who's famously dating "Dancing with the Stars" co-host Erin Andrews -- was transported to a nearby jail ... where he was booked for drug possession.
He was eventually released after posting $5,000 bond.

TMZ broke the story ... cops yanked Migos off stage during their performance at Georgia Southern University Saturday night. All 3 were booked for felony drug possesion, felony possession of loaded guns, and misdemeanor marijuana possession.

NHL's Jarret Stoll Erin Andrews' BF Busted for Coke & Ecstasy
L.A. Kings superstar Jarret Stoll -- boyfriend of Erin Andrews -- was arrested in Vegas on suspicion on drug possession ... for allegedly bringing cocaine and ecstasy to a Vegas pool party.
According to local reports, 32-year-old Stoll was busted Friday at the Wet Republic pool party at the MGM Grand.
Stoll was reportedly taken into custody by the Las Vegas Metro Police Department. Unclear if Andrews was with him at the time.
Stoll was taken to Clark County Detention Center -- where he was booked. He was released on a $5,000 bail.
Stoll was clearly in Vegas to unwind after the Kings were eliminated from contention from the NHL playoffs.
The Kings have issued a statement saying, "We are aware of police reports out of Clark County, Nevada regarding Jarret Stoll."
"Our organization is concerned and has begun conducting a thorough internal investigation. While we continue to actively gather facts, we are withholding further comment at this time."
Kate Major Lohan Arrested for Attacking Michael Lohan in Drunken Rage
Kate Major Lohan had an alcohol relapse and then drunkenly attacked husband Michael Lohan ... so say cops who cuffed and arrested her.
Law enforcement tells us Michael called Boca Raton police at 7:02 PM Thursday, claiming Kate had struck him. He told cops Kate came home after picking up some dinner and was visibly drunk.
Michael says they squabbled, and it eventually turned physical. He told cops he wasn't wearing a shirt and she scratched him down his back.
According to the report, when police arrived Kate was visibly intoxicated and smelled of alcohol. The officer described her speech as slurred, her eyes blood shot and glossy, and her face red and flushed.
The officer says Kate admitted she'd been drinking, then ranted about nonsense. Kate then claimed Michael accused her of cheating and provoked her into a fight.
Kate also claimed Michael grabbed her by the throat. But according to the officer, she had no visible injuries. And get this ... she then "scratched her throat area in an attempt to create red marks."
Officers hauled Kate in to the Palm Beach County Jail and booked her for battery.
She's currently in custody and is scheduled to go before a judge at 9:00 AM ET.
Michael Lohan is actually blaming ex-wife Dina and their ongoing child custody dispute. Michael tells TMZ, "At the end of the day, this is all because of what Dina is doing in court ... It affects Kate too, and like anyone with a drug or alcohol problem, when they can't handle the stress, they resort to drinking."
Kate and Michael got married in November and have two kids together. She recently served a few months behind bars after a DUI arrest (following a fight with Michael) triggered a probation violation stemming from a battery case in 2012 in which she allegedly attacked a police officer.
Police were also called to the couple's home in February of last year for an alleged domestic incident.
10:15 AM PST -- TMZ has learned ... Kate Major has been released on her own recognizance.

Three 6 Mafia rapper Crunchy Black is a man who knows what he wants when it comes to drugs ... but according to cops he isn't too good at getting it.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ the Oscar winner was roaming the streets of Vegas early Tuesday when he was stopped for walking into an intersection when the "do not cross" light was flashing.
It didn't take long for cops to discover meth.
According to the police report, Crunchy's response was hilariously incriminating. He said, "Oh damn. I was trying to buy that powder, not meth."
For bad measure the 'Three 6' rapper also had 2 warrants for his arrest. He was booked for possession and for providing a phony name. He's still in custody.
Crunchy has other problems. He's still a wanted man in Minnesota after allegedly beating his girlfriend in a hotel room.
A rep for Crunchy Black tells us the rapper wants to move forward with his life and will handle the charges in court. Some advice ... don't move forward when the "don't walk" sign is flashing.

Nelly Not My Meth Challenges Drug Arrest
Nelly's lawyer is already mounting a defense in his meth arrest Saturday, claiming the drugs found weren't his.
Nelly was arrested on his tour bus in Tennessee after it was pulled over for not having proper stickers. Cops say they smelled pot, then searched the bus and allegedly found meth, marijuana and guns.
Nelly's lawyer, Scott Rosenblum, tells TMZ there were 15 to 20 people who had access to the bus prior to the stop and there were multiple people on the bus when cops searched it. Rosenblum seems to take issue with cops on the meth issue saying, "a small quantity of [MDMA/Ecstasy] was discovered."
Rosenblum adds, "Nelly will not be associated with the contraband that was allegedly discovered."

Nelly's tour bus got nailed by cops in Tennessee for a bunch of alleged offenses -- and the rapper himself got hauled off to jail for felony possession of drugs ... including meth.
A state trooper pulled over the bus Saturday morning for not having a required Dept. of Transportation sticker ... and when the officer caught a strong whiff of pot ... he decided to conduct a search.
Cops say they found a baggie with crystal rocks that tested positive for meth, and a small amount of marijuana in the sleeper area of the bus. They say they also found quite the stash of guns -- a .50 caliber pistol, a .45 caliber pistol, and a .500 magnum Smith and Wesson.
Nelly was booked for the meth -- a felony -- and misdemeanor marijuana possession. He was also booked for drug paraphernalia -- cops say there were about 100 small Ziplock bags commonly used for the sale of drugs.
Another passenger, Brian Jones, was busted for possession of a handgun.

Ex-NFL RB Kevin Smith Arrested On College Campus ... After Alleged Car Crash
Kevin Smith -- former Detroit Lions running back -- was arrested on the campus of UCF earlier today ... after cops say he fled the scene of a car accident and then disobeyed a police officer.
According to campus police, the 28-year-old was walking to class (apparently he's back in school) ... when he was approached by a University of Central Florida officer who was investigating a car wreck that occurred over the weekend.
Cops say Smith was involved in the accident and was driving with a suspended license at the time. Officials also believe Smith left the scene without providing information.
Fast forward to Wednesday ... when a UCF police officer tried to issue a citation to Smith -- but he refused to cooperate.
Instead, cops say Smith blew off the officer and continued to walk to class.
That's when the officer decided to "seize" Smith -- and arrested him. He was taken to a nearby jail where, in addition to refusing to sign the citation, he was also charged with resisting arrest.

Dave Chappelle was the victim of a drunken racist attack during a New Mexico show -- a guy in the crowd threw a banana peel at him ... then got thrown in jail for it.
