In his first major TV appearance in years, the embattled actor disclosed on "Piers Morgan Uncensored" Tuesday that his Baltimore home, where he lived while shooting "House of Cards," is now up for auction -- and he was soon planning to pack his stuff into storage.

When Piers pressed Kevin on why it had come to such an extreme ... he candidly admitted he simply couldn't foot the debt he owed -- which he says amounts to millions.

The People's Elbow apparently now needs an MRI ... 'cause Dwayne Johnson just revealed his famed body part suffered an injury on the set of his new movie this week -- and the wound looks gnarly.

The Rock said on his Instagram page Tuesday that he hurt the wing while filming some scenes for "The Smashing Machine" -- an upcoming flick all about the life of MMA legend Mark Kerr.

Dwayne didn't exactly clarify how he sustained the ailment ... although he joked, "Anytime your film is called 'The Smashing Machine,' well, you're kind of going to get smashed up."

The actor begged Academy members to start recognizing people of color for their contributions via an ad he took out in The New York Times -- just in time before voting kicks off for the Primetime Emmy Noms June 13.

He writes, "Dear Hollywood, please let this be the year we finally embrace change. The year we truly find equity and see artists of color represented across not just one category but ALL categories."

Will Smith's star power's reinvigorated the summer box office ... 'cause his newest 'Bad Boys' flick cleaned up in its opening weekend and made him a box office darling once again.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, "Bad Boys: Ride or Die" is projected to make $56 million domestically when all's said and done -- higher than the previous estimate of $53 million.

Harvey Weinstein Files to Appeal Rape Conviction in Los Angeles

Harvey Weinstein's rape conviction in New York was overturned this spring ... and now he's looking to achieve a similar outcome in California, having just filed a new appeal.

In new legal docs obtained by TMZ, Weinstein's lawyers -- Jennifer Bonjean and Michael Freedman -- are officially appealing his 2022 rape conviction in L.A. ... claiming prosecutors relied on false testimony to advance a flawed narrative from one of his accusers.

They also went after the prosecution for allegedly introducing prejudicial information from previously uncharged alleged sex offenses unrelated to the case -- which they say unfairly swayed the jury against Weinstein.

The actor spilled the beans on the "7PM in Brooklyn" podcast -- reminiscing about the late '80s, when he snagged his first Grammy for Best Rap Performance with "Parents Just Don't Understand." But, right at that high point, he also got a not-so-friendly notice from the IRS.

Will reflected, "I was, like, 'the IRS gets money from everybody, they don't need mine' -- but they felt differently. So I didn't pay taxes for two years and winning a Grammy and all that…so they just thought they should take my stuff."
