Glen Powell had a strong reaction to watching "Hidden Figures" the first time ... but, it wasn't exactly a happy one -- admitting he puked after leaving a rough cut of the film.
The actor appeared on the "Therapuss with Jake Shane" podcast this week and got real about starring in the hit 2016 biopic ... saying he totally blanched after watching an early screening.
GP -- who played real-life astronaut John Glenn in the movie -- says he watched the movie before the effects or music had been put in, a very bare-bones version ... and, he genuinely thought he ruined the movie.

Nathan Lane -- the Broadway star and voice of Timon in the hit 1994 flick -- spoke with Entertainment Weekly for an interview published Friday ... where he revealed the Academy Award-winning song "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" was originally supposed to be sung entirely by his character and Ernie Sabella's Pumbaa.
The way Lane explains it ... when Elton found out he voiced his displeasure, saying he wrote the song because he wanted to have an epic Disney love ballad under his belt -- and "didn't want it to be sung by the rat and the pig."

The iconic "Home Alone" house is up for sale, but it's coming along with a bit of controversy -- 'cause despite realtors' claims, TMZ has learned the movie wasn't shot inside.
Julio Macat -- cinematographer for the 1990 Christmas classic -- tells TMZ ... exterior shots for the movie were filmed at the home now on the market, but they never actually shot scenes inside the home.
Instead, we're told the film was shot at the then-defunct New Trier Township High School in Chicago on massive sets.
Richard M. Sherman Dead at 95 ... Wrote 'Mary Poppins,' 'Jungle Book' Music
Richard M. Sherman -- half of the Sherman Brothers songwriting duo responsible for some of the biggest Disney hits ever -- has died ... according to the Walt Disney Company.
Sherman passed away at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Hills, the company posted on its website. The announcement cites age-related illness as the cause of death.
Richard and his brother Robert -- who died of natural causes in 2012 -- caught their first big break in Hollywood in 1959 when their song "Tall Paul" reached #7 on the charts.

The iconic "Home Alone" house, which sits in a Chicago suburb, is up for sale -- but you've got to have some seriously deep pockets if you want to make it yours.
The Winnetka, IL home, which sits on just over half an acre, hit the market Friday with a $5.25 million price tag. The home was fully renovated and expanded in 2018, and the current owners who lived there for 12 years took care in maintaining the architectural detail and integrity of the home's most recognizable spaces.
The homeowners, who bought the place in 2012 for $1.585 million, did, however, maintain some of that OG movie magic ... keeping the front of the stately brick crib exactly the same as depicted in the 1990 film, starring Macaulay Culkin, Catherine O'Hara, Joe Pesci, and Daniel Stern.

An award-winning horror short set in Red Lobster never got a proper release because the chain got wind of the flick and told the director to throw it overboard.
Robin Comisar, writer and director of "Great Choice" -- which gained a cult following thanks to fan-altered bootlegs -- tells TMZ after his 2017 flick starring an up-and-coming Carrie Coon started making waves on the festival circuit, he got hit up by RL brass.
Robin declined to get into specifics about the chat ... but pointed out the obvious ... "Great Choice" never got an official release, which he says has been frustrating since he was so stoked about the project.
MORGAN SPURLOCK 'SUPER SIZE ME' DIRECTOR DEAD AT 53
Morgan Spurlock -- the filmmaker behind the famous "Super Size Me" documentary -- has died at 53 after complications of cancer.
His death was confirmed by his family Thursday who said, he "passed away peacefully in New York surrounded by family and friends."
His brother Craig Spurlock added, "It was a sad day, as we said goodbye to my brother Morgan. Morgan gave so much through his art, ideas and generosity."

Alan Frog In 'Lost Boys' 'Memba Him?!
American actor Jamison Newlander was just 17 years old when he was cast to play Alan Frog -- the Santa Carla comic kid and exhilarated vampire hunter -- in the 1987 classic horror film "The Lost Boys."
Jamison shared the screen with Corey Feldman as Jamison's brother and vampire hunter who worked in their parents' comic book store, Edgar, Jason Patric as the quiet teenager who loved pumping iron, Michael and Corey Haim as Michael's clever and witty younger bro who is staked by Edgar, Sam.
Newlander reprised his role as Alan Frog in "Lost Boys: The Thirst" in 2010.
